Chapter 80: [ Arturia Pendragon ]
Rain frowned as he fell into deep thought. Well, it’s not like he wanted to return.
Indeed, he had friends there and going there to visit sometimes might not sound bad but it’s not to the point he was desperate to return.
Here, he has a family he doesn’t want to separate from.
So, is that really a problem…?
No… at least not for him.
Rain shrugs his shoulders, trying to erase the thoughts piling inside his mind.
At this moment, Creak! A door opening rang out, taking Rain’s attention.
And the moment he raised his head, there in front was a big hall just like the room of Amila. But at this time, a majestic throne was located at the front.
And as expected, a Dragon sculptor was lying in front of the Throne. As if sleeping, it was closing its eyes.
However, what caused Rain and the others shocked to the point that their entire body violently trembled was something else.
In the throne, sitting was a woman with golden hair and golden gaze.
She was wearing a scarlet dress with gold plating on each side.
Beautiful and jade-like complexion.
She was around 15 – 16 years old beautiful girl.
Even in the body, the beautiful dress couldn’t contain the dynamic body she possesses as she had a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered.
A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes.
Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were bright golden and seemed to brighten the world when it was reflected in her eyes.
A straight nose, full lips - she seemed the picture of perfection.
“Oh, my – visitors… at last.” The girl smiled brilliantly and the world seemed to have become even brighter.
Her tone was like a soft caress, grasping everyone’s hearts.
Even Zarda and the other Lamias couldn’t help but tremble in shock.
“Who are you!?” The Princess cried out in doubt and suspicions. Why is a little girl inside this kind of place…?

Is she living in here?
“Me?” The girls chuckled and her eyes sparkled like glistening stars. She seemed to be extremely happy now that she had someone to talk to.
“I am –”
“Arturia Pendragon…?” But before she could speak her name, Rain cut her off.
Rain’s brows furrowed as he tried to think that it shouldn’t be possible!
Arturia is an ancient Hero figure!!
However, for some reason, Rain can’t help but think that his guess was correct.
Who could she be… if she was living inside here all this time!?
But if she was real, then is she … an immortal…?!
“Oh?!” the girl’s eyes momentarily expressed astonishment. “For someone able to recognize me… I’m impressed.”
“What!!?” And this confirmation shocks the Princess and the crowd!
She’s Arturia Pendragon…!!!?
The greatest Hero!!?
How is that possible…!!!?
But Arturia ignored the crowd’s shock as her eyes locked on Rain’s figure. And the more she saw him, the wider her smile becomes.
“I see… so that is the reason… Hm, I see, I see…” Arturia nodded her head like a chicken pecking on the ground, seemingly realizing something. “So that is why the Snow Dragon chooses you to be her partner… am I right, Amila?”
“It’s been so long… Old friend…” Amila softly muttered. Her gaze then turned gentle and said, “What have you become…?”
Arturia didn’t respond to Amila and just showed a faint smile. Her gaze then returned at Rain.
“If I’m not mistaken… you’re also from another world, Earth… Am I right, boy?”
Rain frowned. “I don’t want a girl at your appearance calling me a boy…”
“Hehehe, relax, in fact, I was wondering, how was Earth…? What year was it now…?” Arturia showed a nostalgic expression.
“2017, 20th at November,” Rain answered. “Of course, that was when I was transported into this world. Probably a few weeks had passed or months…”
“2017… that’s weird,” Arturia furrowed her brows. “I came in the year of… 2018, 25th of December… Christmas season…”

“What…?”
“I see,” Contrary to Rain’s I-don't-understanding expression, Arturia showed a wry smile. “The timeline is different… either we came at different worlds or, was I summoned from the Earth’s future – that’s extremely confusing…”
“… …” Rain showed an ‘I understand look at the same time I don’t understand look,’ expression.
Though, the people around them were even more confused.
“Rain you’re not from this world…!!?” Princess Leticia’s eyes widened in shock.
“Long story…” Rain smiled wryly.
Zarda and the others also stared at Rain doubtfully. Then their gaze turned to ‘You better explain this later’ look.
Rain awkwardly scratched the back of his head. Fudge… It was revealed sooner than he had imagined.
“What is your name?”
“Rain… Rain Revert,”
“… come again…?” Arturia’s eyes showed an unusual look. Her eyes widened in shock!
“Rain Revert…”
“… …” Arturia was speechless for a moment. Then, she suddenly exploded in laughter.
"– AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Rain and the rest look at Arturia dumbfounded. What is wrong with this… girl…?
“I see, I see, I see… Rain, Rain Revert… Hahahahaha,” Arturia wiped the tears that had accumulated from the corner of her eyes.
A spark of nostalgia and affection appeared behind her eyes – Though no one had noticed it as it was immediately masked by Arturia’s usual smile.
“Blood type?”
“Huh?” Rain frowned. What is on with this girl…?
“I ask you what your blood type is,” Arturia repeated her question. “You should know, right?”
“B, B+…”
"Aquarian Mark at your back...?"
"... ..." Rain frowned.
“I see…” Seeing Rain's expression, Arturia nodded as if she had expected it. “Oh well, I changed my mind.”
“What?”
Arturia turned around and returned to her throne. “I was actually going to let you fight the Shadow Dragon if you wanted to inherit the Holy Sword… but I change my mind. You can go and pass, the sword’s at the back.”
“Huh?!”
“Eh?!”
What did she mean…?
Seeing the shock gazes of the crowd, Arturia chuckled. “Truthfully, based on my own opinion – I think you are all too rash.”
!!?
“Did you think that just your numbers alone can match against a Shadow Dragon…? I hate to say this but you are wrong. Even if you count Amila’s help, the chances of you winning only rose up to 30 – 40%...”
!!? What…?
Arturia swung her feet playfully. “That’s why you are too rash. I put the Shadow Dragon as the last BOSS of this Dungeon because… his power is completely above that of the others.”
Listening to this, the princess was startled. But she still gritted her teeth and stepped forward, “Then, why are you still willing us to pass? Besides, if you are the real Arturia, why are you here? Staying in this god-forsaken place when humanity was on the verge of being annihilated!? Aren’t you a Hero!?” Princess Leticia cried out in anger.
“Hm, you have a point.” Arturia wasn’t angry and still kept her smile. “I can sense the royal blood of Ahadzakin from you – are you by any chance his descendant?”
“Yes! I’m the descendant of King Ahadzakin, the first princess of the Delouria Kingdom! It’s a pleasure to meet you, oh great hero!” The princess bowed respectfully.
“I see…” Arturia sighed. “Such a nostalgic name, however, princess it seems like you are misunderstanding something.”
“What?”
“I am not a Hero anymore…” Arturia said with a wry smile. “In fact, the one you see right now is nothing but a speck of soul – a remnant of my original self.”

There's Always A Catch
Measured, clacking sounds of high-heels can be heard walking towards an elegantly decorated hall; illuminated only by the sun’s rays streaming down from glass panels, grand frescoes decorating its concave ceiling. Mana Tank Magus
Jonathan Orville has had a thoroughly enviable life, completely devoid of pain or suffering. Though his life is tragically cut short due to a sharp rock, he would never regret his perfectly positive life where nothing bad ever happened to him, ever.Even though he doesn't regret it at all, he still finds himself summoned to the netherworld for a new adventure as livestock for a needlessly attractive demoness who is totally probably in love with him. This is a story about using the power of positive thinking to overcome adversity. Demonic forest fires, consumption of souls, rivers of blood and rampant carnage; none of these can get in the way of a dedicated effort to think positively.Newest chapters at: https://manatankmagus.wordpress.com/This location is likely to stay a bit behind. I am very lazy. :DDISCLAIMER: My primary purpose here is Comedy rather than badass skills and righteous adventures (although there's some of that too). The main character can be a little bumbling at times and has a much higher opinion of himself than justified. If you really dislike that kind of thing, this is probably not for you.

The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
