After the big rat died, it started to disappear into lights, but the lights didn't just disappear. They swirled around and formed a chest shape and then they disappeared, leaving a wooden chest behind. Marcus was the first one to the chest and when he touched it, it openned and a bit of light went to each of us.
Congratulations!

Item Information
Sewer Rat Boots
Rare: 50 Power
You can expend 5 mana per minute to walk on water, and vertical surfaces.
Scria held a fist up in the air and said, "Whoop, ya try to whip me, Scria gotcha tail." and the rat's tail (a little smaller than it was) appeared in her hand. "Guys, I gota new toy!" She moved a little way away and started swinging it around. It looked like she was trying to use it like a whip.
Lily looked a little depressed, "I just got rat claws. Apparrently, they can be used to make stuff. Yay."
"Poor Lily, at least you didn't get an eyeball." Marcus held a giant eyeball out in front of Lily, who made screeching bell noises and blasted it with some energy. The blasted eye exploaded all over Marcus and Lily. She immediately started using more magic to clean herself while Marcus just stood there and laughed.
Bjorn just shook his head then looked at me, "What did you get Bwyd?"
"Boots. Uh, where are they?"
"On your feet?"
I looked at my feet, and realized that I was actually wearing boots, then I realized I hadn't been wearing boots, shoes, or any other foot ware the entire time I had been here. "Oh. Neat."
"If you were wearing boots, or the item had negative effects it doesn't get automatically equipped. Normally, you can just leave the notification up and you won't get it, but once you accept it you get the item. I think there is some kind of limit to how many loot messages you can save, but I have a storage ring anyway so I've never seen it. Oh, and thanks."

"How do you normally learn all this?"
Lily had managed to clean herself and joined the conversation, "The tutorial, though I'm guessing your tutorial was a little different than most people's. Like mine. But I think I got most of the same stuff, but with a fae flavor. You must have gotten the dragon tutorial."
"Yeah, it was... interesting."
Marcus, still covered in eye bits, joined our little conversation, "Speaking of interesting, was that a class change in the middle of combat?"
"You bet. Bwyd and I are on a whole other level. I think that makes me her best servant."
"I was first."
"But I reduce the damage she takes, and she gave me a class." Marcus and Bjorn were starting to square off.
"Really? If I hadn't found her you would never have met. Besides my power level is still way higher than yours."
"Why don't we fight. Settle this man to man. Se who the better man is." Bjorn slammed a fist against his shield.
"Well, that would take too long, and I'm low on mana. A fight between us is like strong winds on a flexable tree. Nothing really happens."
"I accept your surrender."
Marcus almost looked like he was about to cast a spell, but Scria chose that moment to crack her new 'whip' right in between them. "Yo, save ya fights for later. Bwyd, you a master?"
"Yeah."
"What bonus?"
"I think it's fire and shadow magic with some resistance and physical stuff. Oh, and apparrently Bjorn got a class." Bjorn gave me a thumbs up.
"You got four bonuses?" Her eyebrows raised.
"It's different for everyone too. Marcus got magic stuff, and Bjorn and Lily haven't told me what they got."

Lily held up a hand, "Bwyd. Do you want to reveal your secret to Scria? Because if you don't, this conversation needs to stop now."
I took moment to look at Scria, I really hadn't know her that long, but I hadn't had a problem with her. She fit in with the rest of us so well, and we had been relying on her to take on all the rats, so I was pretty sure she was a good person. Besides, I basically Lily, Marcus, and Bjorn that I was a dragon when I first met them, so I figured it was about time to tell Scria too.
"I ok with it. Besides, I can have one more servant anyway."
Bjorn smiled and said, "You're awesome Bwyd, I would have been upset with you if you couldn't trust Scria. Share class details with party."
Shadow Dragon Defender
You have sworn to protect a shadow dragon, and that dragon actually accepted your offer.
+25 Fire Resistance
+25 Shadow Resistance
+15 Physical Resistance

Scria whistled, "Whoa, that's just the class?"
"Yeah, I get more resistance from being a servant, and I still get all my class stuff from Shield Master." He started flexing.
"Don't forget that as long as we're near each other we both get a damage mitigation buff."
"Yo, Bwyd, gotta class for me?" Scria looked excited.
"I don't know, you can be my servant, but the class thing kind of just happened."
Marcus stepped in between us, "Wait don't accept her offer, I have an idea. See, Bjorn became a Shadow Dragon Defender when he agreed to protect Bwyd. So what if Bwyd could offer a special position to her servants, or even offer a non servant a position as a speciallized servant. You might be able to create classes, and that is just, incredible." He stopped to take a breath, "So why don't you offer Scria the position of your sword, or something like that. So it's not just a servant."
"Ok, Scria, will you serve me as my sword?"
We stood there for a moment before Scria broke the silence, "Nothin's happening."
Marcus sighed, "Well I guess it isn't that easy. We're going to have to experiment with this."
"Hey, ya done experimenting? We doing this servant thing?"
"Scria will you be my servant?"
"Hell yeah, give me da buffs!" She started smiling, "Woot, cool."
As Scria cheered I got a notification of my own.
