《Cursed Anti-Hero Against the Gods》Ch 3 The Sealed Gods Mission

I was shocked from what I heard, I couldn't tell whether my luck was horrible or not from the curse because this god didn't seem hostile and yet I hadn't been reincarnated, instead I came to an ancient tomb of sealed gods. Even more so, it sensed my absolute hatred for the ten gods. This might must be the chance that is needed. And I need to grasp on to this life line with all my strength. So I cautiously asked, "What exactly is this place, I was supposed to have been reincarnated as a child and birthed into the world that you govern."
The Evil God started chuckling before he surprisingly answered with a light tone, "There is no need for you to ask in such a non straight forward way. Everything shall be answered now. Theoretically, your curses are what brought you here, and in normal circumstances this would be horrible for you, but, you are not alive and are still dead, this crypt is the inheritance grounds for the four dying gods, usually you would have to kill the army of undead in the previous corridor. In your understanding, their levels are in the hundreds while you are only level one. But there is one sole reason that we've allowed you into this area, you are still dead and thus, what you could inheirt from us sealed gods is far more than what a living person who passed the trial would be able to.
I started to shake visibly upon hearing what the Evil God said, if this was true, then gods levels were probably in the thousands and, I would never be able to achieve revenge, but even if there was a small chance, I would leap at it. Steeling my resolve I made my declaration, "Even if I must walk the path of evil, if you deem me worthy, I would use your blessing to assault the doors of heaven and regain my diginity. This I swear!"
Contrary to my expectations, the Evil God began to laugh and then I heard three more voices in the area begin to laugh as well. Finally after calming down, the Evil God began to clear up my misunderstanding, "Listen oh ignorant spirit, just because I am called the Evil God, that does not make me evil in the sense that I want to destroy the world you shall live in. I simply govern evil thoughts and actions, of all entities, the populace has been duped by the church into the reasoning that you believe, in all actuality, because I am sealed, enitities committing actions that can be considered evil are running rampant throughout the world because the balance has been disrupted. Now the same thing applies for the three other gods sealed here as well. Respectively they are the Dragon God, The War God and The Death God. We are the last of the true gods and are on the brink of death, we had been sealed by the ten gods combining powers and with the aid of the mortals, they almost killed us without thinking of the consequences, they believed that by killing us, mortals would achieve utopia.

"But if that is the case then why did they assault fellow true gods and not think it would disrupt the balance?", I said as it was a conundrum as to why a god would kill another god, aren't they immortal?
"Gods are not omnipotent little spirit we are what you would call a higher existence, we can't last forever but our power can, we either reincarnate as mortals and over the span of multiple lifetimes as a mortal in a world without our power and the balance disrupted, we eventually regain our memories and powers or we choose to give all of our very existence to a mortal and dissipate into nothingness and return to the very void that created us. The ten gods that cursed you are not true gods born from the void, they were mortals that achieved some action in their lifetime that the true gods decided to give them their existence itself in order to return to the void. They are I guess, what we shall call second generation gods, but in the end they were tainted by the power they recieved and we believe that they will choose to reincarnate over multiple lifetimes as a mortal instead, but the true goal of a god should be to complete their mission and dissipate into the void after giving their mission to one who is worthy, that is what all the true gods believed that were originally born from the void."
I was dumbstruck by such knowledge that I learned, if anyone in the next world were to preach about this then they would probably be considered a heretic with no exception, if this was true, then those ten gods were in a sense just humans drunk on power, and as such, have a flaw, if there is a flaw, then it can be exploited and if it can be exploited then revenge is possible. This thought shall be the driving force for me to suffer through all the pain and stand toe to toe with such disgusting higher existences.
"There is only one problem though, how can I even make it to the world I was to reincarnate into if I was to be born their as a child, even if I coud inherit your powers now, wouldn't I just lose them all the moment I reincarnated? I don't want to pass up this chance but from what you said, to give your existence to a mortal and let them succeed your position then they would probably, based on a hunch, have had power that already surpassed a mortal to even be a vessel for the power in the first place right? They'd have to be I guess what would be called a demi-god beforehand."

The voice of the Evil God took in a slow deep breath before replying, without even a hint of there being a problem in his tone, he replied with a simple word I had never heard of before. "Body-Casting, you are dead, so right from the start, we can create a body for you that would be able to withstand the power, the only difference is that you would still be level one so you'd need to level up and unlock the power as you go along, but with this we can cement a foundation far stronger to exhibit the power at a scale incomparable to if you had a body already with a weak foundation."
"Then what about the three other gods, are they going to wait for three more souls to arrive here?"
"Although they haven't talked, that is because I am the spokesperson for the other three gods, but you are going to be the first to ever inherit more than one gods power, and hopefully after leaving our mission to you, you can become the most powerful existence next to the void itself. We are the four gods who should have also been at that table waiting to bless the hero, in the end, we couldn't as we were betrayed. Our mission for you is to slaughter the ten corrupt gods and steal their powers and either use it for yourself or return all the power to the void, and make the world a lawless world where the balance will have to be maintained by the mortals themselves, all that we ask is that since you have seen the corruption of power it caused them, don't end up drunk on the strength. The choice lies with you."
After listening to the Evil God, I came to one really simple conclusion, the world is corrupted by human nature and it can't be erased completely, even so if I could change it even slightly for the better then I would, and if I had to be the bad guy in the worlds eyes, then I would still do it, to be cursed and have the whole world against me if they found out my mission, that was my dilemma. Even so, I still didn't think I was sane when I told the four sealed and dying gods "I Accept."

Life in another world with an Immunity System
NOTE: I just finished a large scale editing with the chapters. From now on, the world is no longer a 1000X Earth. I have added my original element. From here on, with a few exceptions, no similarity can be found with our Earth. Thank you. The change has been applied from chapter 1. So if anyone finds any missed places or traces of my previous world-building, please comment and notify me. Andel lived in a world where those with powers will have the final say in everything. In his world, having no aptitude to either magic or Ki means you are even worse than ants. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any aptitude to either. His life should have been hell, but due to being the son of two powerful parents and descendant of a powerful family saved him from a wretched fate. Life was harsh, but Andel wasn’t one to mourn and do nothing. From his childhood, he learned all kinds of close-combat styles and martial arts, proving himself to be a genius at close combat as long as ki isn’t involved. As genius as he was, there was no way he could match those with powers, right? Wrong! Andel had another identity. He was originally a person from Earth who got transmigrated after an accident. Moreover, during his transmigration, he also gained a system that gave him resistance to various things in exchange for experience points. With the Immunity System in hand, Andel decided to finally step into this magical new world and make a name for himself, after spending twenty years in training. The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
