《Songs of Legacies: Cavaron [Complete Draft]》Chapter 14

'Hmm... It has been around... 32 years..?'
Pondered Cavaron as he was being pulled by summon magic.
'Long time no see, hub space.'
Currently, he is flying through a place he called "hub space". What it is he has no idea, but time flows ridiculously fast inside. Spending an hour inside, will have one second pass outside. Within hub space lay various portals and holes that lead to other worlds.
Thirty two years ago, he had enough mana to rip the space-time barrier and enter here. The other times were dependent on the type of summoning ritual used. Ordinary summoning rituals that do not use sacrifices are slow enough for him to pass through hub space. Rituals that do use sacrifices, like what King Rotter did, are nearly instantaneous depending on the magnitude.
'Where am I going now?'
He helplessly thought as the magic pulled him to their destination.
Half an hour passed and the destination was still nowhere in sight.
'Guess I'll sleep.'
And so he went to sleep as he flew through space since he just left it to the magic to finish its task.
As he slept, another half hour passed and his destination was in sight. The magic pulling him brought him through the portal to Belfron.
---
Cavaron appeared on the summoning circle. The shards of the mana crystals that floated to him were instantaneously absorbed by his body.
"Cavaron!" a woman yelled and ran up to him but slowed to a stop when she noticed something strange. "Cavaron?"
The federal soldiers guarding the place were dumbstruck at what they saw. The woman, their Premier, set up a magic circle without them realizing it.
"Premier Tania... this..." one of the guards spoke in disbelief.
However, Tania was too focused on Cavaron and ignored the guards.
"Cavaron?" she repeated his name.
"ZZZzzzz *snore* Zzzzzz..." he was asleep!

At this, Tania fell to the ground and the guards ran to her aid.
"Premier!" they yelled,
"Wha-!? Who!? Huh!?" and woke up the sleeping man.
Tania beamed when he awoke and jumped to hug him.
"Cavaron! I missed you!" she screamed in happiness.
"What the!? Who are you!?" Cavaron yelled in surprise.
The guards, upon hearing the words their Premier said, accidentally tripped and fell.
Crash! Bang!
"Get off, you lot!" the guard at the bottom screamed.
There was so much noise that the other ministers of the Federation, and the former kings and queens came in.
"What the hells is happening here!?" the minister at the front of the group bellowed.
The guards, having scrambled to greet them said, "Sir, Premier Tania used a summoning circle!"
"A summoning circle?" the ministers then looked at the place where Tania was hugging Cavaron.
"By the gods! That's Cavaron!"
"What's he doing here?"
"Are we at war again?"
"Tania what's going on!?"
The ministers and former royalty became noisy.
Cavaron, recovering from shock, pushed Tania away.
"Who are you? What do you... Oh... damn... Rusvich..."
Cavaron recognized the mana signature of the woman before him, Tania Rusvich.
"You remembered me! Oh, but it's Premier Tania Rusvich now. Welcome to the Belfron Federation!"
"Belfron... Federation..." Cavaron repeated while shocked. "Wait... Tania? That little-princess-who-kept-clinging-to-me Tania?"
Tania blushed and hid her face when he said that last one, and nodded bashfully.
"Good gods..." Cavaron was stunned at the woman in front of him.
Height around 5'8", with a head full of flowing red hair. Her body can't be recognized since she was wearing a full-body cloak but it appears slender, especially her arms. Her face was so beautiful that it can put Ritna to shame. The cute little princess was now a full-grown beautiful woman.

"Stop staring at me." Tania cried out cutely.
"Huh?" *SLAP* Cavaron's right hand slapped him out of the trance. 'Damn... too dangerous...'
"You haven't changed." said Tania. "You still look the same."
"Tania! Cavaron! What's going on?"
This time an old man came to the front and demanded answers.
"Papa! I summoned Cavaron back!" Tania answered without a care.
"Papa?" Cavaron looked back and forth at Tania and the old man. "That means... King Rusvich?"
"It's just Rusvich now, Cavaron. Pietr Rusvich." Pietr replied. "I have long forsaken my status for the good of the Federation."
'Okay... need to get some getting used to...' "So... Uh, Premier, what did you summon me for?"
Tania smiled and said, "Just call me by name."
"Okay, Tania. Your reason for summoning me is?"
"I wanted to see you."
"That... that's it?"
"Yeah. Oh, and, um..."
Tania was obviously fidgeting trying to get the words out of her mouth.
Everybody in the area leaned closer in anticipation.
"And?" Cavaron motioned her to continue.
"Cavaron..."
"Yes?"
"... MARRY ME!"
CRASH!!
"No!"
"Why not!? I love you!"
"Just no!"
"Marry me!"
"No!"
The people who fell around them were dumbfounded by their exchange.
"T-A-N-I-A!!!" Pietr bellowed in anger,
"Eep!" and Tania fell kneeling to the floor.
"I would not have minded if you asked Cavaron for help... BUT THIS!? YOU SUMMONED HIM FOR THIS!? YOUR SELFISHNESS KNOWS NO BOUNDS!" Pietr is definitely angry now.
"Papa, keep calm. Your health..."
"DAMN MY HEALTH! YOU ARE ON PROBATION STARTING TODAY! IS THERE ANYONE DISSATISFIED!?"
All of the ministers shook their heads frantically because they knew who Pietr was, Pietr Rusvich the Gentle Demon. Gentle to his family, a demon to his enemies.
"GOOD! GUARDS, TAKE HER AWAY AND LOCK HER UP IN HER ROOM FOR A MONTH!"
It would appear that even the most powerful person in the Federation cannot do anything against her father.
"Noo~ Cavaron~ Papa~" she yelled as the guards fearfully dragged her away.
"Cavaron." Pietr said as he prostrated himself to him. "Please forgive my foolish child and this father of hers."
"Ah... *sigh* it's alright, uh, Pietr." 'I need to get used to this.'
"Thank you. What will you do now?"
"I can't say, since I was kidnapped... oops, I mean summoned, I suppose I could stay here for a while until I get enough mana to leave on my own."
"Then, will you be staying here?"
"I think I will travel around Belfron for a while. It has been... how long since I left?"
"About twenty years, Cavaron."
"Yeah, I'll see the sights. I could use a break from all the fighting."
"As you wish. You know, you haven't aged. You still look 25 years old."
"Magic is weird, you should know that."
"Indeed. Ah! Do you have money?"
"Did it change?"
"Yes, we now use fiat money called Bels."
"Then, I'm willing to trade in some of my treasures for money."
"No, Cavaron. No need to trade."
"I insist... Pietr... We wouldn't want to break the balance now."
"Fine."
Cavaron ripped space and pulled out an item. It was a small jewel.
"I'd like to get the equivalent of this."
"Just that?" Pietr went wide-eyed.
"Yes, just this much."
"Alright."
Pietr then pulled out a pouch and produced 24,000 Bels.
"Here, 24,000 Bels for a piece of Luminite."
"So that's the market value for this now?"
"Yes. Luminite jewels are rare and expensive. It's only natural to pay this much for a piece the size of three fingers."
"Thank you for the transaction."
------------
Welp, that was fun.

System Prime
The legend of System Prime is one that has been told and retold many times over the eons. About how she, along with her trusted partner, travelled the worlds of Ahunna (a.hoon.a), sharing the [Gift of System] to all who needed it. It is a great story. Somewhat factual too. As long as you overlook the fact that System Prime was never a woman. —— If this story seems familiar to you, then congratulations, you're psychic. Well, that or you've read it before on my old account, Eli8iR, which I had to delete because of a probably silly reason that will need a shitton of weed to make me spill. If you don't recognize this story, then unfortunately you're not psychic. On the bright side though, it has been scientifically proven that reading my stories might make you psychic. Or blind. But that only happened twice, and those guys should not have badmouthed my work. Enjoy.
