“No way! A titan? Why here?” The former naked girl exclaimed while slowly wearing her dress.

Although she was wearing her dress very fast she was still not done. Her uniform buttons were undone on her upper body, and even her underwear was exposed.

Since her body was bent, her bosom was also completely visible.

Her healthy and flexible legs were nimbly stretching on her toes, and drawing Lyle's gaze. Shining between her thighs, was lovely, pure white underwear that could make every man drool.

It was a scene where a man especially if it was an average guy, would get swoon over her and without a doubt be fascinated or even worst lusted her.

“Titan?”

But the one in front of her eyes weren’t an ordinary man.

“What, you don’t know about them?” The girl was shocked as she looked at him. Her gaze was as if she was seeing an impossible thing.

Irritated by her expression, Lyle said,

“What about it? hmph! I know some of it, but it is different from what you know!”

What Lyle was referring to was his knowledge that came from his past world. About the titans in this world, he haven't have the slightest clue about them.

He hadn’t read any book about titans in the palace so it’s natural that he doesn’t know about it.

“Idiot! Although I don’t know how you deflect my attack just now. However, I don’t think you can defeat that! I’m a B-rank mage so I can only hold out for a very short time! So leave this to me and go!”

“Hm? I see okay! Bye!” Lyle said calmly while turning around.

“Eeh!?”

The calm response from Lyle resulted in silence.

With an expression as if she doesn’t understand what was said, the girl opened her mouth with a stupid expression and stared intently at him. Then Lyle who already gave a response started walking.

He didn't even hesitate before walking away.

Her protest was ignored by Lyle who just shrugged his shoulders and smiled wryly. From serious and serene atmosphere a while ago was replaced by a RomCom atmosphere.

She could beat him up but what would she do after that? There's still those monsters. She would only be wasting her strength and mana for this idiot.

She could scold him but this brat's face seemed to be thicker that the academy's wall!

Seeing this, the girl could only grit her teeth and curse Lyle under her breath. Seeing that the titan has already

arrived, she stepped back and raised her arm and casted a spell.

“Hear me oh great thunder god, bestow thy power to slain thy enemy in front of me and bestow thy wrath to those who are wicked ”

Lightning strike down the monster. It was more destructible than what she used to attack Lyle just a while ago. But the titan only smirked after getting hit by it.

The titan swings its club towards the girl. Fortunately the vulnerable girl dodges it by hair’s breath.

“As I thought, it has magic resistance! Then try eating this [ Spear of the lightning God who governs the sky, strike down thy nemesis of thy servant. Upholds thy justice upon the powerless, and converge the judgment for those who are weak ]”

Almost like thunder, the noise rumbled in with a slight delay. As a shockwave tore through the air, the titan’s sense of balance was partially destroyed after being hit. It then staggered and glanced over its shoulder. There a lightning-like sphere was struck on it.

The instant the orange light struck the titan’s shoulder, the trees was blown away like an airplane making an emergency landing on the ocean.

Even after passing, the orange afterglow was still burning the air like an afterimage.

But it wasn’t enough, the sphere only dealt a little bit of damage towards the titan. It only made in mad and growled in anger.

“GroooooaaarrrRRR!!! I! SMASH! KILL! TINY! INSECT!”

The situation seems to be dire as fear enveloped on the girl’s body.

“I was careless, wasn’t I?” The girl thought to herself as she had fallen to her knees.

Feeling nothing but shame over her own immaturity, she thought she might be able to defeat it because it’s only one monster. But now, her mana was on the verge of being depleted. The spell she just used was her strongest attack spell but still it wasn’t enough.

“So this is the power of an S-rank monster. Hahaha this doesn’t look like a monster that could be defeated by just few dozen A-rank, and now I’m fighting it alone while still being a B-rank? This is really suicide, isn’t it?” The girl thought to herself.

Now, I understand why he chooses to escape rather than to fight it! Hahaha It would seem that I still have a long way to go. She thought.

She was probably being too hasty. She was admired by everyone in the academy and was hailed as a genius.

A sixteen year old girl was a B-rank mage!

But because of this maybe she was gotten too confident causing her to overestimate herself.

The raised his arm holding the club. Then he swung it towards the girl in a flash.

The girl desperately tried to get out of the way of the titan’s attack but she couldn’t move her body the way she wanted to. She was terrified and her body was overwhelmed by fear.

“Damn. I cannot afford to die in a place like this!” Said the girl as she gritted her teeth while cursing her own powerlessness, “If I die now, I would lose everything I worked hard to get!”

Having lost all hope she closed her eyes and waited for the club to come. But then…

The attack never came; instead she felt she was floating in the air.

"Hey!” A voice called out to her. She opened her eyes and saw a familiar figure carrying her in a princess-style position.

“Y-you!?” The only words she could utter.

She stared at the boy who was carrying her.

His hair was black and wavy. And although he had a slender build she did not think of him as scrawny as she noticed his body had some slight musculature to it.

The boy’s face was like that of a girl. He was wearing a black coat with reddish lines. And underneath his coat was a jet-black shirt with red colored tribal flame.

The girl pretended to be in bad mood on the outside but she was extremely happy that he came back and saved her.

She even pouted at him, “Why are you still here? Didn’t you already escaped while leaving me alone to die?”

“Hm? Did I say that I will escape?” The boy then said. “I just went there and meditate to regain my lost mana you know!”

“Regain?” The girl ask not understanding what he meant.

“Well, never mind!” He said while he carefully and gently put her down.

“Now then, what should I do?”

Watching Lyle’s calm demeanor while looking at the titan, the girl became restless and said,

“Why are we stopping? Didn’t you see that monster’s power! Even I, a B-rank mage can’t even defeat it! We should run now before it’s too late! Hey, are you listening to me!”

“Well, just calm down okay! You’ll ruin your beautiful face you know! A girl should be calm, cool and collected!”

“What the hell are you saying under this dangerous situation!?”

The girl looked at the titan approaching them and started complaining. However, not minding the girl’s frantic voice and complaints, Lyle submerged on his thoughts. Then suddenly as he thought of something good, he smiled mischievously and stared at the titan.

“Don’t worry, just wait there and cool your head. I have thought of something I really wanted to do! Ahahahahaha”

“What are you planning to do?”She asked, bewildered.

“Nothing in particular, it’s just that, it’s one of the ‘Must-do’ lists if you’re a real otaku!”

“Otaku?”

Shrugging his shoulders, Lyle calmly walked without caring about his surroundings.

Standing still, he step his left leg forward. He then slightly bent his whole body while his left hand together with his right arm was clutching together in his right side.

Finally, he compressed enough mana in both his hands while shouting,

“KA, ME, KA, ME, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
