Lyle felt a shock jolting through his body.

There were many types of pure, immense energy bursting on his forehead, heart and hands. They were rapidly joining together inside his body as if rinsing through him very thoroughly.

There was so much energy that it almost burst out of his body but it finally pooled in his abdomen where Lyle felt the position of his mana reserve.

He could feel that this massive energy was enveloping his mana reserve, giving him a kind of feeling that seemed to understand but not to understand what was happening.

The feeling he felt at this moment, was as if his entire body was thrown in scorching hot molten lava.

Such a degree of heat burned every inch of his body.

As if there were countless tiny needles that were piercing through him, drilling with their utmost to enter into his muscles. First it was the layer of skin, then it was his muscles and finally it was his bones.

A type of pain, a thousand times, ten thousand times more painful. Then an execution by tiny cuts, came like a flood, completely enveloping Lyle.

Lyle had a mistaken feeling —

At this instant, it was as if he was about to be disintegrated into nothingness.

The previous fragrance that had entered into his body, had a terrifying and mysterious power. It completely froze his

whole body to the point that he already lost his ability to resist and think. Even moving a finger was something extremely difficult for him.

An unending and terrifying pain travelling throughout his body, but he still managed to retain his consciousness.

“Pain … this is too painful, aaaaaa …” He opened his mouth to loudly scream.

But the moment he opened his mouth, endless red-colored blood-like water crazily entered into his body. Following his throat and esophagus, it madly entered inside his body.

It was as if he had swallowed a boiling mouthful of lava and his internal organs was currently being burned by a blazing and destructive fire.

Suddenly, an abnormality had happened.

As if an existence that was in deep slumber had been disturbed, it sleepily issued a furious roar. And afterwards, a mysterious power suddenly activated from the depths of Lyle's mind. This power was like the arrival of the monarch, unmatched and unstoppable.

At this moment, countless black shiny scales appeared on top of his skin, just like what he looked like when he transformed into his demi-dragon form.

However, this time was different. The black scales was more beautiful and mysterious. It had reddish tribal flame engraved on every scales. As if it was alive, giving off a mysterious feeling.

A pair of black horns appeared from each side of his head and a silver, rusty chains was dangling from his wrists and legs as if it was bounding him.

His two hands became black claws that give off the feeling that they can cut everything and jet-black pointed tail that looked like it was connected from his spinal cord.

Every pain that he felt in this instant, had already completely disappeared.

Lye was taken aback, then was madly delighted.

This shocking power … it came too suddenly, just where did it came from ? Is it possible that it was from the egg? He thought.

"Is the soul ... huff ... contract ... successful ?" Lyle asked as he was panting in the ground like an old dog.

Suddenly, a strange words formed in his mind.

The light from the egg continues to shine, illuminating the whole room. The strange patterns and symbols would sometimes be dazzling, sometimes dull.

After a few minutes the light finally slowly fades, leaving the floating egg.

Lyle felt as though something inside his head just exploded, accompanied by a very loud roar inside his mind. His head was starting to spin at fast speed, as he found his vision suddenly became blurry and a bit hazy.

.... ... ... and he lost his consciousness.

He woke up in the next morning.

"Uugh ... What happened?" He silently asked.

The sun's dazzling light entered from his window made him squint his eyes.

He tried to raised his body when he realized he was holding onto something.

In his arm was the same egg but now it looks very different. The egg was now covered with black stripes and at the top of it was a small crack.

"It seems it was hatching ..." He thought.

The mysterious egg was still absorbing his mana, draining him. It seems it continued to absorb it ever since last night. As to how he lost his consciousness, he couldn't remember.

To his astonishment, he found out that his body had gone an enormous change. It became as tough as steel as ordinary blades couldn't cut it. Feeling such development, of course Lyle was ecstatic.

Lyle decided to skipped his classes and wait for the egg to hatched.

Besides, It would be bad if the egg suddenly hatched while he was inside the school, it would attract a lot of attention.

He also can't leave the egg because the egg was still greedily absorbing his mana, so he decided he would just rather rest than go to school. He didn't like going to school in the first place.

Isolating himself from the outside, he stayed inside his room the whole time. He meditated to recover the mana that was slowly being absorbed by the egg.

Lyle held up the mysterious egg and used his Magic eyes to analyze it. Finally, to his astonishment, he found that this little thing could not even be seen through with his magic eyes.

Thus, he just give up as he could do nothing about it.

The whole day was spend by playing with Sasha or Sheila.

When he's inside his room, he will spend it with Sakura and Yuki who loves to listen to stories especially fairytales from his former world.

Sometimes, he will try to remember all the martial arts he forgot and play it within his mind in order to remember it when the time comes for him to train again. Although he can't remember the things from his past life clearly, especially the faces of the once he called family and friends he still can remember the things he have learned.

Some of it might be in pieces but with time, he would remember it clearly. It's just like the saying [ The mind might forget but not the heart and the body ].

Every night when Lyle was sleeping in his room, Sheila always sneaked in and slept soundly next to him ............. naked. >.

Day after day, the crack didn't stop absorbing his mana. The crack around the egg was also spreading.

He would also asked her to borrow some from the library.

Sometimes Princess Feme will visit him and inquired as to why he was not coming to school. Obviously, he wouldn't lie to her so he told her everything but he made her promised to not tell it to anyone.

She also informed him that the Headmaster was looking for him fuming in anger and frustration, of course he just smiled at her without answering.

As Lyle and the others spend their life peacefully, two weeks have already passed.

Lye was sitting in the sofa while reading a book.

In his arms was the mysterious egg. Beside him was Sheila who was using his lap as a pillow and quietly sleeping and Sasha was knitting something.

It was an image of a peaceful family when the mysterious egg suddenly trembled.

A blinding light enveloped the egg as it flew out from Lyle's embraced. Looking at this scene, Lyle, Sasha and Sheila stood up with excitement. The mysterious egg was finally hatching!
