After Serra gave guidance towards the two princessess, he returned to him room.
He sent out Cordelia and sat in a chair in his room.
"Hmm... It should be time to go now."
Serra looked up towards the sky.
"It's finally time to truly return to my home..."
Serra called out in a nostalgic voice filled with longing.
In his heart, returning to his world and to his descendants can't truly be counted as returning home.
As long as he hasn't stepped on the land he was born in, he truly can't say he returned home.
He had that wish ever since he returned here.
Of course, due to certain matters, he had to restrain himself, but now, nothing can restrain him.
Thus, it is finally time.
He gazed upwards.
In a moment, he disappeared without a sound in his room.
Above a vast sea, Serra appeared.
"Meis... My home... My clan... My sect... I've finally returned..."
Serra gazed beneath the sea.
His eyes became teary-eyed as he stared down below the land he was born.
Seeing it buried beneath the oceans filled him with sorrow, but it will change soon.
"Not soon, it will change now."
Serra corrected his thoughts and released his aura.
When he released his aura towards Maya, towards the Demon King, towards his descendants, he only released a small amount of power.
But now, he truly released his full power.
Instantly, all the experts in the world trembled.
They felt a massive awe-inspiring power towering over the heavens cover their world.
All the experts in the world trembled.
Within the Demon King's Castle.
"This power is... Serra?"
The Demon King in his throne spoke.
This aura was truly familiar to him.
Serra had released it towards him only a few weeks ago.

But at that time, it was only a small fraction of his power.
Yet, faced with that power, the Demon King could only tremble.
But this power was far too vast...
The Demon King felt that power at that time to be as vast as the sky, as unfathomable as the sea and as immovable as the mountains, but this level of power...
That power at that time was only a drop of water in the ocean in comparison to this terrifying amount of power.
"So this is the true power of that man... The true power of one who reached the absolute pinnacle of might."
The Demon King let out a voice filled with awe and fear... and within it, a voice filled with envy.
"One day... I will definitely gain this much power for myself... I will stand upon the same summit that man stands upon..."
He let out a voice filled with determination and loftiness as well as arrogance and pride.
"I will definitely reach it... No matter what..."
The Demon King spoke as his held a devilish glint in them.
To lead his race and gather a place to call their home was indeed a wish he held.
But his true desire is to gain strenght and power that stood at the apex of cultivation.
Faced with power of one who reached it, his heart began to burn with ambition.
Serra felt his power expand.
His controlled his power and forced it to gather towards him.
He then spread it towards the Meis continent that slumbered beneath the seas.
A blue aura covered Serra.
Tremendous power filled him to the brim.
When one gazed at him, they would feel as if a god descended upon the mortal world.
A sovereign has descended.
All living beings can only tremble before his glory.

"Rise."
With this one word, as if the world heeded it's ruler's wish, the Meis continent began to rise.
The countless living sea creatures living within the fallen Meis continent began to hurriedly flee.
They already felt the sovereign's aura and were frozen in fear.
Once they felt the land beneath them rise, they immediately began to flee in fear.
Slowly, the land began to resurface within the sea.
Within moment, the Meis continent truly resurfaced.
However...
As it was previously a part of the sea for thousands of years...
The things left were ruined buildings, corpses of dead magical beasts and ancient humans as well as seaweed and all sorts of stuff.
"Hmph."
With but a thought, all of it were pushed aside towards the sea.
That included the fish that were unable to escape the rising continent in time.
However, with all of them gone, the Meis continent was barren.
With the exception of the ruined buildings of ancient times that were left untouched.
Serra disappeared once more.
With him gone, the aura also started fading away.
But how could such immense power disappear instantly like that?
Some bits of power remained.
But that power was so great that even Emperor level experts trembled.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
