《I am a tree》Better

The days continued to pass ever since I had killed the stalk... I've been going by the sapling with the gold leaf constantly everyday watching it grow. Is the stalk really still alive or is this plant just a entirely new existence? It has been growing steadily and reached only two feet even though eight days had passed since it was planted. All the plants on the edge of my domain were fully grown too; also the flowers that shot their petals at me re-grew. There was a green flower that had 10 flat straight petals that curved sharply at the end, a red flower which had six perfectly equal triangles as petals which at night closed upwards and formed a pyramid. There were seven other flowers which had the exact same shape, but came in different colors which were red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. I couldn't tell what color the indigo and violet were at first, but when I thought of the first few colors, I was able to guess it. They had five petals with a round end all having a white tint close to the bud.
Every plant on the edge of my domain were automatically reproducing so I never had stopped growing, this was the same with the plants the elves had placed around me. Only one difference with those two were that the elves had either moved the plant, took it for their own personal use, or burned for a fire. It felt as if this place was going to become infested in flowers and bushes so I thought of stopping the reproduction of flowers on top of the hill during the fourth day. On the fifth day, there were no signs of new plants growing around me so I was able to confirm it was able to work. The elves seemed oddly relieved when they made their daily venture to the plants and saw there were no new saplings, their work was mostly made up of moving the plants the past few days...

Earlier I said I hadn't stopped growing since that day, now I was 150 feet tall. I have four large branches with around two small branches extending off each one. There were small vines hanging on the branches, it was a smooth dark green color with occasional bumps along them. The leaves... were finally too hard for me to count. They were large at around one foot tall and five inches wide. It had a flawless green color while you could clearly see the veins. The shape was like a typical leaf you'd draw where there were no rough edges and it had arc out then curve in making a sharp tip.
To the present time of the day 38, I was watching the elves perform their daily rituals. Stanford as usual was at the front; behind him were my body, and the countless flowers that bloomed around me. I officially remembered everyone... never knew I would also be bad with names this time around too. Anyways, Stanford now spoke out loud to the crowd.
"Many days passed ever since the divine tree defeated the malicious one...! The divine guardian had descended upon me in the middle of the night delivering the detailed events of that day!"
As the elves were used to this, they let the information sink within their heads first... Barbra... why do you always go there at night? I asked that same question to her and she told me it was a hobby by now. Stanford continued his message...
"The sky boulders that rained down that day was a carriage device holding the malicious one... yet we were all wrong! The malicious one was the divine tree's friend that had gone mad! The true identity of it was the world stalk!"
... Whispering spreads around, it looks like they were shocked. Strangely their faces were that of guilt. Disregarding them, Stanford carried on...
"The divine guardian says the divine tree is now in pain from vanquishing its friend... however, I was told how to heal the divine tree's wound!"

...... Barbra... what's the reason you are telling them all this! I stopped listening to the words Stanford is saying and immediately contact Barbra.
◄Barbra!►
......... She won't answer. My view is turned towards my body and I yelled out once again using more force.
◄Barbra!►
I kept calling her yet she didn't answer, as I was about to force her out, I saw movements below me in the field of plants. The elves were picking plenty of the three types of flowers, looking further down; some had gotten buckets of water they drew from the lake. They walked past the encirclement of trees then went down the hill. This must be Barbra's doing! Looking as the elves went down the hill carrying the buckets of water and flowers they picked, I followed them. Reaching the hills decline a minute after the elves went down, I saw them around the sapling with a golden leaf which was on the flat land next to the hill. One by one, they placed flowers around it and poured water on top of the soil surrounding the sapling. I was able to get close enough to hear what Stanford was saying...
"Let us honor the world stalk! This is all we can do to help our savior... Hope within our hearts that the divine tree will overcome its own trial! We will not stand by helpless when the divine tree is hurt nor will the divine tree abandon us when we are in trouble!"
Saying that... all of them got on their knees without bowing and closed their eyes. The sapling with the golden leaf was surrounded with the flowers, there was arrangement of red, white, and yellow... why have I let it come to this... They are worrying about me now, a senior who shouldn't let them worry... Thinking that, I head a voice.
[Master, they are all worried, you shouldn't let them be.]
The culprit who told them everything... my anger from before is already gone though. I respond slowly...
◄...Barbra... why did you do this...?►
[It was too obvious master with your plain responses... master seemed too uninterested. I didn't notice earlier on... but you felt different. I was worried too you know...]
... I just let the past interfere with my present huh... even I hadn't noticed myself. I've only spent a few weeks with Barbra, yet she was worried about me.
◄Why do you... worry about me when we've only spent a few weeks together...?►
[A few weeks? Haven't I told you I'm the spirit of the tree fom your previous life? I've spent all my life with you... beginning to end.]
I see... I thought there was no more meaning to what happened in my previous life. I had thought Barbra was an entirely new existence, but she was still the tree I've cared for, the tree I have... died with. It only felt like a few weeks to me, but to her it was years. My mind feels much clearer; I feel much better. I speak to Barbra...
◄Thank you Barbra...►
[It's only natural master.]
◄If only you were this way more often.►
[No way! It’s too depressing.]
◄What if I took your magic allowance away?►
[Oh... uh... master... ble~~eh.]
◄You don't need to try, I wasn't serious.►
I also thought it was depressing looking back. That was a trap I almost fell into, good thing I have Barbra and the elves here. Looking at the sapling, I could almost see the leaf giving off a golden glow that I didn't see before. I guess I'm back.

Tartarus Online
“The new is built upon the old. This is true across all realities, and even the gods themselves cannot escape this fact. Welcome to Tartarus Online, a VRMMOG (Vi-Mog) that offers far more than your usual roleplaying game fare. It is a whole new reality, with a completely level playing field. Gone are the choices of Classes and Archetypes, starting kits and pay-for features. In the bowels of Tartarus, only your effort matters. Once more I welcome you to Tartarus Online. We are going to have a Hells’ of a time.” These were the words that really caught Riley Culman’s attention while watching the promotional video the two guys in nicely tailored suits had brought to him. The two men had come with an invitation, and an offer; which sounded more like a deal with a devil, but was seriously on the up-and-up. Not that these guys from Astarte Entertainment had any reason to lie or be evasive on the subject, given just how massive a corporation Astarte is. Beta Test Tartarus Online. Explore a brand new world. Sleep away his chair-bound life while testing the latest in long term virtual reality immersion technology. And maybe, just maybe regain the mobility robbed from him by an accident as a child. It really sounded all too good to be true to Riley, thus the feeling of making a deal with a devil. But it was what he wanted, more than anything. Welcome to Tartarus Online indeed. Even if the Hells’ are only a step away. [I will also be hosting this story on Scribble Hub, thank you.]

Ortus
A woman wakes up in a forest, naked, alone, and injured. She has nothing but a strange, black dagger and mysterious, floating, blue boxes to aid her. Can she find food and water? Survive the deadly animals? Escape the forest? Learn about the life-altering magic the boxes provide her? She has to use her wits, her knowledge, and maths to do so. But first, baby steps. She doesn't even understand the language, yet. If you see any maths mistakes or strange story decisions, leave a comment and I will either fix it or consider changing it. This is also, essentially, a first draft. That means I will edit older chapters and nothing is final, including numbers. Any major changes are listed in the changelog below each chapter. Since this is a first draft, the start is noticably bad and inconsistent compared to the more recent chapters so you will have to endure that to get to the good stuff. Rewritten version of Ortus (Old Version)

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.
