Chapter 1
“U…n…”
Cian wakes up. Just how long did he lose consciousness for?
Seeing that the surrounding brightness didn’t change much, it doesn’t seem like a long time…
Cian found himself waking on the bed of the room. Looking around, he seemed to be in an unfamiliar room.
It was a quite spacious, similar to those suites in one of those luxurious grand hotels. Expensive and yet royal-like feeling. There were even furnishings and red carpets spread out as far as the eye could see. It appeared that a considerably prosperous individual was residing in this room.
As he was about to raised his body, suddenly, “Hm?!” slight pain surged through him.
When he looked down, a bandage was wound all over his body.
This is…!?
Cian grabbed his head with his arms. Memories flooded one after another, giving him an intense headache.
What had happened before he had lost his consciousness?
Night and all his classmates…
“So that’s what it was…” The headache finally subsided, and information about this world and thus himself formed in his mind. Slowly regaining his composure, he tried to grasp the present situation.
“Status.”
Muttering like so, his own information flowed into his mind which was then reflected on his retina:
Aanuel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury
Second Prince of the DreadStorm Empire. Rank; 2nd
Age: 15 years old.
Special Abilities: [ Eyes of Night ] [ Vector Body ] [ *** *** ]
… …
… …
Cian sighed. So it was real… he had never thought, in his entire 17 years of life he would transmigrate into another world. That’s right. He didn’t just transported into this world but transmigrated. He realized this point since, in the status, his age was 15 but back on Earth he was 17 years old, a graduating high school student.
However, the problem is, Cian turned his head and found a huge mirror facing his bed. And there his current figure and appearance could be seen.
His appearance didn’t change… more like; he was still Cian Caloh of Earth. The only difference was that his appearance was a bit younger, with no small stubbles on his chin. Smooth skin but with mismatched eyes.
Oceanic blue colored left eye and Bloody red-colored right eye.
He has slightly trimmed ashy gray hair with a shade of blue in some small parts, especially at each of his long sideburns, giving it a strange flavor. Straight and articulate nose, slightly long and narrow dignified mismatched eyes. At the left side of his head, a small curved horn could be seen; looking like an ornament or some sort.

Although he was naturally confident in his appearance that was always been praised back on Earth, but now, with this additional traits, he had become quite a looker if he says so himself.
If this is the original world, he would’ve made a living as a model. It’s just that, his body was quite thin, slender like a female. But due to his pale complexion, that would be called Jade –like in China, he seemed to become more effeminate despite being a man.
Just what the heck is this…?
Are the others similar to me?
As Cian was admiring (?) his appearance on the mirror, suddenly, the door of the room opened.
Cian saw that it was a maid with horns with a jade-like complexion, so it was none other than a half demon like him.
She was slightly older than him, probably four to five years older. Her face can be called a beauty. Greenish blue hair and striking pinkish colored irises. Her hairstyle goes up so it’s easy to move.
Her gaze was like that of a hawk, piercing, aloof… if categorized in beauty she would be quite a cool beauty herself… though if not for the cat ears located at the top of her head. These ears suddenly give her a… quite ‘Cute’ title. A cute cool beauty.
Her height is high for women and her every movement seemed to be quite seasoned, giving her a veteran head maid like feeling.
“You’re finally awake, your highness” The maid greeted him with a slight bow. “How are you feeling?” She said with a faint smile.
That was actually quite an unexpected. Cian had expected for her to act like she didn’t see him at all, much less the smile.
But still—his highness, huh?
As he pondered, memories suddenly came flooding back to him, and the answer to his question abruptly appeared in front of him. Cian’s memories appeared, almost as if they’d suddenly been turned on and he realized the cause of the situation, and the answer to his question, at almost the same time.
Just like the status says, he was now Aanuel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury, the vicious second Prince of the DreadStorm Empire.
The fifteen-years-old second prince of the Dreadstorm Empire was the infamous demon prince of the Demon Empire called Dreadstorm Empire. He was an idle and indolent person.
He was a useless freeloader, a scum of society, and a super-level debauchee. He was a typical parasitic worm who had no value or reason to be kept alive.

Even in the demon society, he was the worst of the worst, relying on his status and background to bully other demons and assaulted women to his liking. These features described the new identity that Cian had taken-up after he had transmigrated into a new body.
His memory answered every question he had indiscriminately. It was as though this bout of memories was derived from his personal experiences, rather than knowledge he had gained from his extensive reading.
Damn Night! You gave me a new body… indeed but why this kind of person…?!
Do you think I’m the same…?!
Cian couldn’t help but cursed inwardly as his pupils gradually dilate. From these memories, he knows this is the land of sword and magic, called Graunite Continent. Graunite Continent has 3 Empires and several colonies. The 3 great empires consist of a human Empire, the Holylight Empire to the north, Beastlord Empire to the south and the kingdoms his family rules, the Dreadstorm Empire which was located in the east.
The west is the Elven Forest and the Despair Plane mountain range. Nobody knows what exists on the other side of Despair Plane mountain range, as even devils and gods can’t pass through it.
At this moment, the continent was in chaos.
The Demon Empire was being attacked—no, it should be, the Demon Empire started this war!
The [ Box of Pandora ] that was Night’s purpose for bringing him here in the Empire of Demons, however, even if he found it, he has no capability to touch it much less destroy it. Night had warned him not to do anything to it even if he found it…
Cian let out a deep sigh as he recalled the memories of this bastardous prince and his actions in the past. He would’ve ‘voluntarily’ killed such a person in his past life if he had come across any.
He could’ve transmigrated into anybody. So, why did it have to be this scum?
This is certainly—Night’s work!!
Digging the memories left behind within the brain, Cian found out that the second prince has another three siblings; one big half-brother, young half-sister and another sister in blood. His big brother, Lucifalion Orcanium Vorn Stormfury is the leader of the elite Demon military force, and he has been the captain of the army since four years ago and was still piling up achievements one after another, rising in ranks.
Unlike the ‘trash’ second prince, he was a genius in both military and magic and popular in the Empire.
His little sister Situel Orcanium Vorn Stormfury, the first prince’s blood-related sister was a known prodigy in the Demon Academy. Beauty, talent and brains, she was blessed greatly.
Lastly, Oriel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury, the famous second princess of the Demon Empire and was the second prince blood sister, is one of the well-known great beauties in the continent, while she is also already a vice-general at the tender age of 18.
She was icy cold in character and appearance and still, however, warm towards his useless brother. Although she hated her brother the most and called him disgusting whenever they met, Oriel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury still protects him when push comes to shove. It seems like, although she didn’t like Second Prince Aanuel, she still honored him as her blood brother.
Similar to his brother, she was a half demon as well. Half-Elf half demon.
There is just Aanuel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury, the useless second demon prince who didn’t care to learn any martial arts or magic, and most of the time just focusing in killing and raping for entertainment; most where the prisoners of war while several where his own kind of people.
And then, there is the ruler of the Demon Empire—The Tyrant Blood Demon Empress—Sitana Mamanium Vorn Stormfury. She had two husbands which both died in different incidents, thus leaving her to become the sole ruler of the Demon Empire. She was evil and cruel—though for some reason, she pampered the Second Prince quite obviously which garnered anger and displeasure from every corner of the Empire, even including her other children. But, she was no vegetarian, it can even be said that the cruelest and wicked demon in the Empire was none other than her!
Her rule was undisputed and her words were absolute!
Thus, no matter how scum of a person the Second Prince was, no one dared to touch him, even a strand of his hair…!

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
