V2 Chapter 50
“Really?” Sibylla smiled happily.
“Yeah, however… I think it’s not quite there…” Cian muttered, startling Sibylla. She then looks down on her clothes, confused on what Cian meant.
“It’s too heavy looking and it quite restricts your movements significantly…it would only be good looking but it would make you suffer quite a bit. It downsizes comfort for beauty—it’s not worth it,” Cian gently muttered. Although Corset has many advantages and benefits to women but… Cian didn’t like the suffocating feeling the corset gives. Well, it was a good dress for a formal celebration though…
Sibylla was sized up and down by Cian. While feeling a little weird in her heart, she also felt quite touched. Seeing Cian pick out clothes for her so seriously, all the bitterness she had vanished into thin air. At this time, as if he suddenly came to a conclusion, Cian nodded, he turned around and said to Sibylla, “Love, take off your clothes.”
“Eh?” Sibylla was stunned, and her face was immediately flushed, “Aa… Aanuel, what did you say?”
Cian realized that his phrasing was imprecise, and smiled, “What I meant was, for you to go to the changing room again, and I will have them send the chosen clothes to you. Try on every set, then choose the one you think looks the best on you and show it to me.”
After Sibylla was brought into the changing room, Cian walked a few rounds around the clothing racks at lightning speeds and took out several sets of clothes that he liked. Furthermore, he matched the clothes and let a servant girl send them into the changing room. Several sales noble ladies, including Sayrash, saw Cian dazzlingly match up 5 to 6 sets of clothes, and were extremely shocked. Since they were able to work in a shop like this that was famed among the noble circle, they naturally had an eye for fashion and beauty. But Cian’s choices for matching obviously weren’t randomly chosen. Although they didn’t see how Sibylla looked after putting those ones he had chosen, they all understood that the chosen clothes definitely suited her.
Sayrash frowned and felt dazzled by Cian’s fashion sense and can’t help but wonder if she should try to ask him for an advice as well. It seems like Cian’s eye for beauty is indeed magnificent and not the clothes that she had gotten from him were not just based on luck. Did he call this…fashion…? What kind of word is that…?
Cian ignored his surroundings and choose the clothes with great attention, using all his knowledge about fashion in the previous world. Since it would be worn by Sibylla, it should be the most beautiful clothes ever. Furthermore, this can also boost his good reputation to the public and surely his smelly hat would slowly be replaced by a wonderful fedora hat!
A hat that only gentlemen could use...!
He has no interest in taking action a while ago and just came here to please Sibylla, but now that he noticed the crowd becoming larger, this can also be used for posturing as well as advertisement~
Just then, Ruka wearing that plain and white silk gown came out of the fitting room, then walking to the side of Cian, she said with a slight smile: “Thank you, Your Highness, Ruka like this dress very much.”
Simple, neat and pure-looking…
There are no other exaggerated decorations and ornaments on the dress but it highlighted Ruka’s young and lively aura.
She was like a pure angelic beauty that was untainted by the malice of the world…

“Treat it as a gift for me,” Cian smiled gently while patting her head.
“Y, yes…” Ruka bit her lips in embarrassment but she nodded her head, pleased and full of sweetness. She grabbed the helm of her new dress, savoring its beauty. Sayrash who was busily looking up some new dress caught the sight of Ruka’s expression and sigh, this girl had already fallen to the enemy… but, is she really okay with it? Sayrash turned towards Cian who was still wearing his indifferent smile. He… he really does look different from the rumors…
Have I been judgmental all this time…?
Sayrash frowned. Cian who noticed the gaze turned at her, “What? If you want to say something then say it…keeping it down within you is bad for your health~” he grinned impishly. This girl seemed to be quite weird and strange today… she’s actually not insulting and cursing him, which is quite unusual… did she properly took her medicine before she left her house…? Seeing her like this, Cian couldn’t muster any energy to make fun of her.
“You…nevermind.” Sayrash was about to say something when she forced it down her throat and shook her head. Whether he was different from the rumors or not, that is yet to see in the future. She can’t make her early judgment and be fooled by him… “Choose some clothes for me as well, you’re good at it right?”
“…whether I am or not, why would I do that…? Giving you one is already my kindness.” Cian smirked.
“…!!” Sayrash glared at him. This bastard! “Hmph! Then, so be it! It’s not like I need your help or anything!”
What a classic tsundere statement~ Cian grinned. He stood up and walked towards the right side, checking and then pulling up a set—“This should be good. Pair it up with this one for a different variation. This one is good as well,”
“.. …” Sayrash frowned but she still grabbed the dresses offered by Cian and rushed towards the dressing room.
“Master… I don’t like that woman…” Ruka bit her lips as she glared at the room where Sayrash entered. All the time whenever they met, Sayrash always insults and cursed her beloved master. In front of her, that is something unforgivable. For her master to be kind to that kind of woman, Ruka can’t help but feel dissatisfied.
Cian smiled wryly as he shook his head and stroke Ruka’s hair gently, “This world didn’t like playing favoritism. It wouldn’t accommodate your desires so sometimes you can only yield. Even if you hate someone or despise someone, sometimes you need to concede and act nice towards them… this is about seeing the whole picture…not just a part of it. Being hard-headed and stubborn will only make things harder for you, do you understand…?”
“… …” Ruka frowned, understand but at the same time couldn’t understand.
"You must always remember, my dear Ruka... 'Supreme rule of life is to adapt without compromising,' with that, you will surely survive a hundred battles and steal a victory from an unwinnable battle--all for patience..."
"...I, I understand," Ruka replied but she was still having a doubtful expression.
Cian chuckled, “Well, you will be in the future. Although Sayrash’s character is annoying but when you can pull someone into your side, you should do it. It’s better to make more friends than enemies…you’ll find it useful…”
… …
When women pursue beauty, they become extremely careful and patient, therefore men are bound to wait for quite some time before seeing the finished product that went through utmost care. And thus, Cian couldn’t help but wait for a while before finally Sibylla shyly walked out from the changing room.

When everybody looked over, they subconsciously held their breath and were speechless.
Her beautiful emerald hair let down, with her soft straight hair cascading onto her chest which slightly covered those enchanting cheeks that were drunkish red from shyness, while her fresh and delicate face suddenly seemed extremely captivating and attractive.
The dress was simple and elegant the color of a ravens feather with a snug waist—with a thin waistline and a flowing skirt that was sure to fan around her when she twirled. The skirt flared out from the hips and fell to just below the knees, showing her smooth milky legs which were held into stilettos by a thin strap and a tiny silver buckle. The neckline didn't plunge but rather showed off her breasts in an elegant manner. A pair of fashionable black strap sandals wrapped around the pair of fair feet and her adorable toes were exposed to the air.
Sibylla’s figure could be classified as a young innocent beauty from a small family. It wasn’t exaggerated anywhere, not overly small or skinny—the shoulders and cheeks were perfectly shaped, and the breasts and butt were outstanding yet subtle. With the black dress, her innocence seemed to have been amplified even further and giving her another kind of irritable charm. Her pair of long, smooth, and beautiful white legs that were exposed to the air appeared more vivacious and gave off a feeling of boldness and sexiness.
It is said that fresh water brings out the naturally sculptured hibiscus. The girl’s unique fresh and pure elegant aura finally revealed itself without any restrains.
“How is it…?” Sibylla showed off her new dress, twirling in front of Cian.
“Should I say, as expected of my one and only…? You’re an extraordinary beauty, Sibylla. You’re so good-looking that one is afraid to look at you--truly my princess,” Cian sigh in astonishment. Even him who was the one coordinating the dress, but he still seemed to have underestimated Sibylla’s charm… he had almost gone silly on how beautiful she had become.
Hearing Cian’s heartfelt words, the joy in Sibylla’s heart surge through every cell in her body causing her to feel as if she was being burned into blazing flames. She could only feel that her heart was about to leap out of her chest, and her body turning into a little bird that could fly.
“…I accept your highness praise, however… please do make sure to look at me or else, I don’t know who I would show my beauty to,” She raised the ends of her skirt, and happily responded with a beautiful teasing smile.
Cian stared at her face and felt jittery in his heart. What a sinful woman she was. Her easy smile could stop a man’s heart. Her lips were red. Not the garish painted red so many women believe make them desirable. Her lips were always red, morning and night. As if minutes before you saw her, she had been eating sweet berries, or drinking heart’s blood. No matter where she stood, she was in the center of the room.
This is his fiancée, his very own precious…!
Indeed, Sibylla has quite a significant impact on his heart.
Whether it’s her beauty or her temperament…
She was different…!
To him, she seemed so beautiful, so seductive, so different from ordinary people…that even his icy cold heart seemed to be unable to remain cold whenever he looks at her. It’s as if winter would be blown away by the summer sun—
“Bye, little girl,” After paying all about the dresses Sibylla had tried, as well as buying several sets for Ruka, Cian waved his good-bye towards Sayrash who was looking at him and Sibylla holding hands while exiting the clothing store. Surprisingly she didn’t make any sound and only stared at their backs with a complicated expression. Especially the surprise she had gotten from the Second Prince to this very day…
… …
Not so far away from Cian and the others, a hooded person was standing at the dark cold alley, staring at the second prince direction. “That person…?” The hooded man muttered to himself. His eyes never leaving the back of the man…
However, at this moment, the hooded man suddenly saw the Second Prince brows wrinkle and then turned his head to look towards his direction—the hooded man’s gaze shook and widened in surprise. He hurriedly hides in the dark corner, even casting a very high level concealing magic. In fact, she had already cast one but for some unknown reason, the hooded man, seeing the Second Prince gaze felt suffocated. Like a beast staring at its prey, ready to pounce—what kind of gaze is that…?
Startled, he hurriedly activated the highest concealment magic he knows, fearing it would not be enough…!
Cian’s temple throbbed, and he felt someone was staring him with a sharp gaze. When he slightly turned around, that feeling immediately disappeared. “Hm? Aanuel?” Almost at the same time, Sibylla and Ruka look towards Cian who was staring at a dark alley. However, even with his [Night’s Eye], he can only see a trash bin and some garbage’s littered on the ground—eh? No… it’s not that… hazy…blurry figure? What is that...? A ghost? As if!
Cian’s eyes narrowed. Reflected on his Eye, was a blurry translucent figure. Since it his Eye couldn’t see the figure clearly, then it means… this person had a very high-level concealment magic. Does it mean this person is strong…? But why in that place…? Is he observing me? Who is he?
Cian frowned. He thought it was a little fishy. A moment ago, he felt a powerful killing intent coming from that direction. But this time, it had disappeared. Was he not the target? Is he also one of Big Sister’s people…? But what was that murderous intention…? Was I mistaken…?
No! How can I possibly make a mistake! Cian believes his own intuition as a killer and he would never doubt it as it had saved his life before countless times. His brows furrowed a bit and then after thinking it over, he started walking towards the alley—
The hooded man’s heart skipped a beat. Did he noticed…?
No way! That’s impossible!
“Aanuel?” As the hooded man was about to run away, Sibylla suddenly grasped Cian’s shoulder and called out, bewildered. “Is something there…?”
Cian snapped out from his daze then his lips curled into a faint smile, “No, it was nothing. I just thought I saw someone familiar… It seems I was mistaken…”
“Is that so?” Sibylla looked at Cian, doubtful. Even Ruka was doing the same….
Cian just waved it off. That was close… it was bright daylight. If something really happened, I would surely be exposed with no way out… let’s just wait for the right moment. Let’s see, just who it was …? Was it Lucifalion…? Did he become impatient? No, that should be impossible! Lucifalion would not make his move at this moment. However, this sucks… even the guards sent by sister had not noticed it, this means this man has some ability. Although I don’t think I will lose, if a commotion occurred this time, I would be seen by many people…
Just act like it’s nothing then… Decided, Cian led Sibylla and Ruka around the City, all while trying to get rid of his stalker several times with his own counter-tracking techniques. However, his stalker still remained like his very own shadow. It was rare for such a person to exist. Though, he was not making any action either, just watching him patiently.

It is a part of a bigger universe that I am creating, The Aethos, and I fully intend for this story to be professionally edited, then self-published on Amazon. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.
