《Flame-Eyed Immortal》Chapter 37

-One week earlier
“Hey Owen come here.”
“Master?”
Owen gave a perplex expression towards his master. Although Kovinth called him out many times, Owen could his the trace of reluctance in Kovinth’s voice. He wasn’t sure what was happened, so he quickly walked over to him.
“I have something for you.”
Owen felt some excitement to Kovinth’s words and smiled lightly. Kovinth fished out a smooth thumb sized rock and placed it in Owen’s hand. Maybe it was because he was reluctant he didn’t explain anything and only gave a smug look as he had done the best deed in his entire life. Owen on the other hand was flabbergasted, and definitely thought his Master was getting revenge for the ‘husband’ incident. So without much thought Owen casually threw the rock away.
Seeing this, Kovinth’s smug looked turned into despair and he immediately screamed and felt his time sped up many times over.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”
Kovinth rushed to grab the rock but it was too late. When he wore a smug look he closed his eyes not daring to see Owen’s excited expression, but he didn’t know what Owen was thinking and all these coincidences led to the worst result possible. Just as the rock approached the infinitely close to the ground it suddenly froze in air. While Kovinth was still screaming, a giant 20 meter crater was instantly created underneath the rock, and the rock sped as fast as light towards the ground repeating the same process once again.
This happened many times over before Kovinth was even able to approach the rock and the shockwave was finally felt. Kovinth was shot backwards so fast that Owen just saw a blur past his eyes. Even before Owen heard the sound of Kovinth crashing he too was blasted away in the same direction after Kovinth.

Boom!
Boom!
Two loud crashes one after another as Kovinth made a human sized sized crater into the wall and Owen slammed straight into Kovinth, which surprisingly hit him to so hard that Kovinth had the wind knocked out of him. On the other hand Owen’s bones were arms and legs were crushed as he protected himself in a fetal position that shot towards Kovinth like a cannonball.
--------------------
“My home!”
Kovinth screamed when he saw the result of the rock. He wanted to glare at Owen so badly. But he couldn’t, as he knew he was partially to blame for not explaining. He knew that Owen wasn’t the type to be ungrateful so he never expected his result, but he soon figured out Owen’s train of thought and this led to a massive misunderstanding. Kovinth didn’t worry any longer, he had already shoved a pill down the unconscious Owen’s throat.
--------------------
Owen was reminiscing about his first encounter with the Little Light Rock. He was later told that the lighter he threw the rock the more destructive he was. He was also warned repeatedly under no circumstances was he to drop the rock without any force. Kovinth didn’t explain what would happen but from the cringe, Owen could take a wild guess as to what would happen. As Owen was being blasted backwards he nodded happily.
‘Hmm, this time it went a lot better.’
Boom!
He crashed into the wall and was knocked unconscious. He wasn’t nearly hurt as he was before, only some bruises and cuts here and there, but he wasn’t the only victim to the Little Light Rock as every other Pathwalker and Sinners alike were slammed into the walls. The Sinners had it the worst because the Pathwalkers were already moving to the outer edges of the hall. But the Gluttons, and the Lusters were close to the center were hit the hardest and fastest to the wall. The Ferals were somewhere in the middle but even with their strengthened bodies they were knocked unconscious as well.

Soon the dust settled and there were thousands of human craters in the walls, none of them were dead, but some were unlucky enough to have their heads trapped inside the walls. The White Tiger looked in shock towards Kovinth, he had heard the conversation between the Lunar Wolf and Sun Dragon but he had no idea that the item was going to make a result like this!
The Rebirth Snake shrugged as if it didn’t matter to her. Osena rubbed her temples in an adorable manner choosing to not care anymore. Kovinth on the other hand felt some glee as he thought to himself.
‘Well at least it wasn’t just my home that got destroyed.’
