Mason holds his iron fists up ready for Jason his next move, Jason stands still with closed eyes, Mason clearly not impressed, 'Did you fall asleep old man?', Jason not reacting at all annoyed Mason, 'Fine ignore me, I will make this quick'.
Rushing toward Jason, Mason Quickly tries to land multiple punches toward Jason, all the punches would hit Jason as he flies into the air with the last punch being an uppercut, Mason notices that was not Jason, Jason now standing behind him, 'Too slow...' Mason Yells, punching right at Jason, Who would easily dodge the incoming fist, not drawing his blade yet.
As he easily comes closer to Mason punching him straight in the face, Mason is even more enraged by the older man beating him without even drawing his blade, 'Fine... old man, I will stop holding back'.
Mason his firsts start to glow as Jason sees his strength and speed increase, as Mason shoots straight at Jason, like a bullet trying to go through someone.
Jason now getting serious, shoots right at Mason drawing his blade, straight swinging at Mason his head, as Mason dodges it easily, returning with an all-out punch Connecting straight onto the blade that Jason just in time got in front of him, Jason realized if he was a second slower he would have lost the fight right there, still feeling the shock from the giant punch throwing him further back then he expected.
No time to recover, Mason Lightning-fast was already in front of Jason ready to give another of those all-out punches, Jason starts to laugh, 'Not bad at all', as the punch goes straight at Jason, making the whole spot covered in dust, not able to see anything, Mason felt he connected to something that exploded by his pure force.
As the dust fades away, Mason sees Jason standing in front of him, 'you did well, now rest', as Mason sees his chest bleeding out, 'I see...', as he falls down.
Winner: Jason.

From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. AntiHero's FIRST REWRITE IN THE WORKS - thanks!! :] EDIT 2/28/22 - sorry, health problems right now, but I will post after rewriting the first 80-90,000 words or so and start fresh from there! Many side characters here will eventually be main characters with there own stories; long or short. But this one particularly will be focused and centralized around Noel. Because of this, I do plan to leave the introduction for side characters as still having a special flow for readers to witness a tad of their background, so keep that in mind after my 'obviously many' rewrites from now and going into the future! Sorry for the troubles! I will improve on my style and implementation of the story!(Although I DO plan to keep parts as 'play style' or rather, comic book style, since I find it easier for certain dialogue instances as well as the fact that the novel is inspired by that 'feeling' you get while reading comic books. Please don't assume I'm just randomly naming characters names that don't match them. And feel free to talk to me about whatever in my story troubles you - no matter how small!
