《Empress' Evolution》94. CHARGE!!!!!

'Twenty Elite Warriors?' Lilith looked at the LVL 180 Werewolves with saliva going down the corner of their cheeks. They seemed strong, and the glare they possessed became proof of how much effort they put in this Tribe of theirs.
From LVL 180 to 215, the Elites gathered to form a line. The strongest in the front and the "weak" were on the back. Just like the Werewolf Leader, they wore nothing to cover their top but kept their unmentionables hidden from the world.
"The Two Heads had come out of their den and attacked the home of our benefactor! This is our time! We will assist them and slaughter their numbers, retrieve our Crystals, and help our benefactors. This is our time to clean our tarnished pride!"
The Werewolves growled as they gathered and unified under a single goal, the hunters inside them awakened. The Werewolves howled despite there not being a moon to be found.
Awooooooooooo!
Their howl echoed all over the valley, and Lilith walked up towards the Werewolf Leader, asking, "Are your people prepared?"
The Werewolf Leader bobbed her head in agreement, "We're ready at any time. When do you wish to leave?"
"As soon as possible, I worry about the situation over at my Village. Let us go now if we can. I'll leave the Shadow Troops here to ensure the protection of your Tribe while the Elite Warriors are out." Lilith's expression was grave.
The Werewolf Leader secretly showed a soft smile.
"How honorable." The Werewolf Leader could not help but say under her breath, "Let us go to Battle!" The Werewolf Leader said in haste, and as she rushed out of the Tribe, the Elite Warriors followed; Lilith, Cerberus, Luna, and Killa didn't lag behind.
The Werewolves were moving as fast as they could, and though they thought Lilith's group would be left out, they turned around and saw the only daemon that followed them were actually keeping up with them.
Luna was in Killa's arms, and Lilith was actually on Cerberus' back… the Werewolf Leader saw Cerberus running and fronted a cracked smile, 'That being is rather strange….'
Werewolves were beings that take pride in their strength. As such, the stronger someone was, the more masculine or feminine they would seem. Though Cerberus was a mere LVL 64 daemon, he somehow radiated an atmosphere that gathered the Werewolves' attention.
'That three-headed dog is not normal… it's strong.' The Werewolf Leader's eyes slanted.

While the Werewolf Leader was busy assessing Cerberus, Luna was also busy secretly taking Lilith's pictures from above. She would later circulate these pictures through Eve and the Dhampy.
"Luna."
"Ah! Yes?" quickly, Luna hid her HNP.
"Message Chief and tell him to not go out and meet the enemy head-on. Tell him that no matter what, only when he receives my go will they come out of the Village."
"Why, is something the matter, Priestess? Are you, huh! Wait, are you saying it is dangerous for them to go out with how little our information about the enemy is?"
"… Yes, it appears you managed to read my intentions. You are beginning to think wisely, Luna. Just make sure to tell them to first attack from afar for a while." Lilith praised after making an unnaturally long paused.
"Thank you, Priestess." she was giddy as she typed Lilith's orders and the reason for her orders.
Luna used not to express much emotion. But right now, her bright smile resembled that of the sun due to simple words of acknowledgment.
Words were powerful weapons; they crush rebellions and uplifts the weak. To Luna, hearing words of praise was... revitalizing, to say the least.
For the two siblings, Lilith was more of a parent than the Pixie Lord ever was.
Lilith was the one who opened Sylva's heart and gave Luna a new place in this world. Thanks to Lilith, Luna's entire existence was no longer bound to being the Moon Liwa.
Though it were simple words of praises, to Luna, it meant the world to Luna.
She was a child deprived of compliments recognition since her birth.
Abused and thought not to be delighted. But now, Luna's heart beats wildly and freely and fronts a smile that could brighten the sun.
'I like this feeling...' she thought to herself,
Her joy could not be measured.

Chief held onto his bone sword with a broad grin on his face. Behind him were the Army's men and women, who were ready to die for the Village.
Chief was delighted with his people; he stretched his body like he was about to go on a morning jog. He looked ahead and watched the two-headed giants approaching from deep the Forests.
With an even broader smile, he licked his lips, "The Priestess was right. Staying here was the right decision, after all." he laughed.

His blood was roused by the smell in the air. Excitement and anticipation filled the surrounding.
"It had been a long time!"
Holding the sharpened bone sword, his back turned to the soldiers; Chief spread his arm wide, "Today! We bathe in the blood of our enemies! Today! We shall offer our Ancestors the blood of our enemy! Today! We gain the honor of protecting our people! This fight, we offer to the glory of the Goddess Letza!"
The soldiers could feel a growing tension; their bodies tensed then trembled.
They all sported a smile... they wanted to prove themselves.
It didn't matter if they were a mage or a warrior. All were begging to go and join the soon-to-be battlefield!
Chief could feel the heat on his back. The intensity of his Soldiers reached him!
'It is time.' he knew that they had peaked.
"CHARG—" Chief's roar became the embodiment of his drive and will to fight, and just as the cries of the daemons behind him were about to pierce the heavens and reach the ears of their Goddess, a Shadow Troop member appeared beside Chief and informed him of vital information.
"WHAT!?" Chief's voice echoed, and then as the Shadow Troop member explained the situation to Chief, this warrior who had just learned the importance of advantages bit his lips before roaring, "STOP! We are to wait for further orders!"
Everyone checked their ears if it was working, and when the confusion settled upon them, one of the upper leveled daemons asked, "Why!? Are we not going to fight against them and protect the Village!?"
The soldiers nodded as they were all feeling the adrenalin coursing through their bodies.
Chief was angered, "Shut it! Do you not think I also want to go charge at them and slaughter the lot!? But the Priestess messaged her Arms (the Shadow Troops) to tell us that we know not a lot about the enemy… she is worried for us and is saying that we first need to observe… attack from afar if necessary. We lack the information if we can survive a direct confrontation."
Chief was angered because he knew what Lilith was saying was right, but he also wanted to make a frontal charge.
He grew conflicted. As for the Soldiers, they managed to settle themselves at the mention of the Priestess worrying about them.
Chief sat on the ground with a pouting expression. He was irritated by the waiting.
The Two Heads saw the Army backing off and snickered before bursting into a peal of roaring laughter as they taunted the cowardly bunch. This irritated a lot of the Army.
They waited for a long time, and then, as time went on, Chief saw the enemies also eyeing them, still smiling and showing their long tongues. Their eyes leering, without fear, mocking, and without respect, as he began to feel irritated, he remembered something and then smiled.
"DROY!" Chief called out one of the Ogre Champions.
"Yes, Chief?" Droy appeared before Chief and was ordered to go find the remaining trees that were made into stakes.
Droy came back moments later with three giant wooden stakes, "Here you go, Chief… what are you going to do with that anyway?" Droy was curious, and so was everyone.
Chief made a smug expression, "Hehe, we need to know if they are strong or not, right? I got a good idea of how to gauge the situation."
Chief's fingers sunk into the tree's trunk, made a big wind up, and then, FWUUUUUUUU!* The stake was sent flying and whirring across the air. The Two Heads looked at the roaring sound, and then BaM!
One of the Two Heads' chest was ran through and then got carried off into the distance. Chief confirmed the kill, looked at his Army, and fostered a broad smile, "THEY ARE WEAK! CHARGEEEEEEEEEE!"
The Army felt their heart beating wildly, and so, they roared!!!!

Luna and Lilith, who had been running at full speeds for fifteen minutes, received a message.
Luna read the message, and then her face changed, "Priestess, it appears the Chief sent you a message."
"What is it?" Lilith asked.
"…I think it would be best if you are to read it yourself, Priestess."
Lilith raised her brows as the message was forwarded to her…
Lilith looked at the message in her system….
[THEY'RE WEAK, WE ARE CHARGING, GLORY TO THE GODDESS!!!!!!!]
'THAT IDIOT!'
Just as Lilith read this, she heard the roars of the Ogres and the Two Heads.
What she saw was a LVL 248 Chief spearheading a slaughter.
"GAHAHAHAHA! SHOW THEM OUR POWER!" Chief, was having the time of his life.

Displacement
or, Deux Navires Passant dans la Nuit If you wake up in a new world, with only your memories of home to guide you, you have to trust the first people you meet. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
