《Real Life RPG Doesn't Suck》Chapter 4: Sword and Zombies

(Iori’s POV)
The air explosion didn’t hurt me, so no problem. It also doesn’t seem to have activated any kind of trap. The statues didn’t move at all. The only thing that changed are the ethereal blue flames floating around like lost ghosts, making this place surprisingly bright.
Finally, I use analyze in the katana.
Juuchi Yosamu
Type:Magic Katana
Damage:550-800Tier:UniqueRequirement:Job: Temple’s Gate Guardian
Durability:Infinite
An strange katana, found inside the underground shrine under the temple. It was found by Hiyuuki Iori, covered in dust. In the right side of the blade, there is a message etched in traditional Chinese: “我們現在是以金屬製成的,是為了永遠服務伊織”, which means “We, who are now made of metal, are to serve Yí Zhí forever”. A strange aura emanates from the sword.
Wow! I’ve got my hands into something good! I also match the requirements perfectly! Wait, job… I haven’t checked it before, my job that is. I open my status and touch the Temple’s Gate Guardian job.
Temple’s Gate Guardian[/tr]
JobType:Hereditary
An job given to the direct descendants of the first priest of the Sensou no Kami Temple. Allows the holder of the job to use the facilities of the temple. Allows the access to the special areas of the temple. While in the temple’s vicinities, energy restores faster and the need of sleep isn’t needed.
Oh… I see… that’s why the reason that I last tried to sleep in the temple I couldn’t do so. I tough that it was a case if insomnia, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. Well, I wasn’t tired even after going to school next day, so no problems there.
Anyway, let’s go outside. Ignoring the ghostly blue flames floating around and walk up back the Haiden. When I close the trapdoor, the handle falls to the ground and fuses with the boards. I touch where the handle should be, and it appears again. Alright, so this is the effect of my job.

I wonder if it only works since I have mana now… anyway, better begin training again. But first…
I hold the hilt of the katana… wow, it feels so familiar… I take Yosamu out from its scabbard. Wow… this sword… is so pretty! The blade is of a classical katana, with a single edge and a lightly bent blade. The hamom, the pattern in the blade is unique, resembling flames in a slightly darker hue if silver from the rest of the blade. What the hell was used as material for this?
The blade is completely silvery, but it is more… polished than normal silver, and brighter too. This doesn’t seem to be tamahagane, or any kind of metal that I have seen before… it seems solid, and clearly magical.
When I hold this katana, I feel… vibrating, as if I was made for this sword. Good. I try a few moves with Yosamu. The weight and balance is perfect, and when using this sword, I can feel as if I was it was an extension of my body. Great.
Alright, finished playing around, it’s time to train the dungeon creation skill! After a few times creating and going out from the dungeons, the skill finally levels up to ten.
Dungeon Creation
Type:SkillMana Cost: 0 MP
Tier:CommonLevel: 10 (0,05%)
The most basic skill required for a magician. Creates a copy of the space around you and drag any magic related being inside it. To exit, just gather mana in your hand and have the wish to exit. Creates the most basic dungeon.
Enemies Available
ZombieTier:Common Mob
Oh, an enemy available! Also, zombies? I was hoping that I would firstly face slimes but zombies will do as well. Slow and dumb, zombies aren’t worth much. Well, they are worth some EXP after all. Do they drop something? I ask myself as I raise my hand and active the skill to create a dungeon.

Suddenly, an additional information comes to my head before the dungeon is created. The option to create a dungeon with zombies. Also, I discovered that the damage done to the world inside the dimension of the dungeons is erased when I go back to the real world. The results of training don’t disappear though.
Anyway, I choose to create the dungeon with zombies in it. I feel the world changing around me, as if I dived into a lake. However, there is something different from before. The sky turned pitch black, without any stars and a deep red moon.
Wandering around the place, there are a lot of zombies. I use analyze on it.
Zombie
Level:6
HP:100MP:0
Low type of undead, thrice as strong than when it was alive.
Alright, their HP is lower than the minimum damage that Yosamu can deal. Alright, they haven’t noticed me yet. I approach one, and stabbed with Yosamu, aiming for his head, and the katana easily pierced his head. He instantly died, dissolving in black smoke.
You have acquired 200 EPX
Alright, this is fun! After that, I hunted all the zombies and leveled up twice. I didn’t ran around laughing manically killing zombies. I didn’t.
…….
…..
A-a-anyway, back to the business. I re-do the dungeon and teste one of my mana bolts on the zombies. The mana bolt flies and explodes on the zombie, but doesn’t damage him that much. Well, it took off half his health, but the point is that it made the zombie fall down.
Heh~, stagger huh. Well, that’s cool. As I slay zombies like a kid in Christmas morning, I imagine if I can create other magics. Like protective magic, and a more efficient magic attack. I’ll think about that when I at a higher level. For now, time to level! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.

LIlith's Firstborn
The legend says that the Forbidden Fruit made the first two humans – Adam and Eve – intelligent, but what if it was the other way around? What if the Forbidden Fruit took most of their humility, their intelligence, their kindness, etc. away and turn them into the discriminating, angry, and hateful humans that they are? What if the only way to turn back into their former selves was to lead a good life on Earth to cleanse their souls? The legend also says that Lilith was a demoness who fled from Heaven and was granted mercy when she showed humility and proved that her soul was still worthy of saving despite all her wrongdoings. What if, after centuries of sinning, Lilith finally found her way back to kindness? What if God forgave Lilith for her crimes? What if she gave birth to a baby after she had repented? And what if that baby is the only human soul in existence that isn’t tainted by the Forbidden Fruit or her past sins? Tallitanya of Lilith inherited her mother’s immortality and grew up at a rate much slower than an average human so she had witnessed the rise and fall of empires even though she is physically and mentally 21 years old. She was born on Earth, but she moved to Heaven when she was physically 5 years old and didn’t return until she was 18 years old. She was tasked, by God himself, to guard over the Forbidden Tree which had since been replanted on an isolated island on Earth. She loves that job, and she loves that she was given direct instructions instead of having to figure out what God’s so-called ‘mysterious plans’ for her was. Centuries went by. Tallitanya is 21 years old when the Final Judgement is nigh. As an immortal who has yet to have a real affiliation with Heaven or Hell, Tallitanya has received a personal invitation from the Antichrist who wishes to recruit Tallitanya. Heaven also sends its angel – Michael – to inform Tallitanya that as a human, her soul would also be judged by God. She was ordered to leave her post as the Forbidden Tree’s guardian so that she could get to know the other humans before she makes an actual decision about who she wants to align herself with. The second she steps out of the island, it disappears. Turns out, her message from God was faked, and so was her mission. The devil had tricked her, and as the guardian of the Forbidden Tree, she must recover the tree and the island, or humanity will perish within the year.
