Day One

Reports are still coming in but the current situation is still unclear. It seems that Emperor Charles was suddenly replaced on His Coronation Day. Most likely from a coupe.

It seems that Emperor Charles was killed by a snow white kitten. Not some feline beast kin, but a small cat. Her official name after her coronation is Kumon the Saint, 100th Empress of the Empire, Bringer of Justice, Reviver of the Innocence and The One Who Should Never Be Disturbed. There is no data about her prior to her coronation.

During our observation, the kitten never woke up. Thus we never had a chance to communicate with her. Although, our spymasters reported that the kitten could talk normally and possibly the true source of the fierce mana felt earlier today.

Fortunately, she somehow manages to destroy the Sigil. With the bond gone, the Emperor Retainers are open season for grabs.

We request additional funds from the Capital to garner their favor. We scheduled meetings with several of Council members throughout the week.

Although it was unfortunate about Emperor Charles, Kabeera Kingdom might still manage to salvage the situation.

We also got a request from the Isles Union is staging an assassination during her scheduled march tomorrow. They request Seina and Seiko to help in their attempt. The payment will be as triple the usual fee. This might prove useful to ascertain this new Empress power.

Day Three

Each action must contain a purpose. As such was this assassination, killing the Empress most likely is impossible for them but for the Isles Union attempt to be thwarted by the Imperial Army was truly a failure. Those fools couldn’t even pass the security layer. Thank Heaven, both our asset manages to escape their death.

In another case, contact from our spies have been severed without notice. We suspect a shadow group is cutting our ears to take the lead in the ‘hunt’ to gain favor from The Council. And it’s not only us, other nations are moving suspiciously too. Most likely as a result from this yet to be known force.

For The Council members, none of them are entertaining our invitation except for one. Lady Avigail. Our spy master record her inclination to harbor slaves in her residence. It was quoted, “Her slave consists of 10,000 creatures from human to beast kins.

Brainwashed to serve loyally to her.” on another note, Princess Renie seems to manage to ensnare Lord Sylon into her fold.

Although it is without evidence but seeing as they were once betrothed, and Lord Sylon refusal to meet with us, this is the most likely conclusion.

The Third Day.

We have received the five elves slaves kidnapped from the Sequino Forest and the additional funds. Another troubling news came today; the unknown group seems to have eliminated our ‘hands’. Assassination guild all over the Empire along with our local assassins were murdered. The area is currently quarantined by the Imperial Army. With our spies gone, it’s too difficult to unmask this hidden force.

For the New Empress Parade, 'March of the Kitten' went as usual. Empress Kumon was sitting on her throne floating around the city surrounded by her Emperor’s Guard. The local seems to consent their new Empress. Wherever she went the citizens kneeled down and gave their respect. I was even told Major Grindfield, the Empire’s Guild Master who spit at our King during the Slave Rebellion subjugation even kneeled down for this cat.

The Empire announced there will be a Question and Answer session for the public tomorrow at the Town Hall. The main agenda will be about Kumon the Saint. Hopefully this will enlighten us about this whole mess.

Meeting with Lady Avigail were a success. In return of the Five elves, she will support our cause under this new ruling. We talked at length about of our slavery industry including her future cut of the pie. It seems she want to join in our yearly low-born genocide festival. As a sign of gratitude for the elves, she will send her army at our ‘Vault’s to insure our slaves and other merchandises are protected from the Unknown Force.

P.S. Don’t send male cats to breed with the New Empress. A wealthy merchant tried to do so was kidnaped by the citizens and later made a public apology and renouncing his worldly needs to serve as eunuch for the Empress. Unfortunately, the castle reject him.

The Fourth Day

Fornication:

Any children slave who have not reached age are forbidden from being ‘touched’.

Fornication with slaves are allowed only with those of opposite gender which is of similar age

Awareness:

Education about slavery and effort to abolish slavery will be part of the Empire’s education

Economic:

Slaves entering the Empire will be tariffed.

Government assistance towards slavery will be slowly reduced

Clarification:

In the eyes of the law, race is not of concern. May it be, humans, fairies, beast man, dragon newts, elves or demons.

Army:

Actions by the army to protect populace endangered by slavers will now be permitted.

Council Member: Lady Avigail from House Aba is formally elected to lead a new task force to ensure the success of this plan.

[Elion Ki’el, Acting Diplomat of the Kabeera Kingdom]

I’m the vice diplomat reporting.

Sir Qadar Ki’el has been arrested the day before yesterday. This evening, he confessed his crimes of espionage, assassination and bribery with the prosecutor linking his acts to the Kabeera Kingdom along with numerous evidence and witnessed supporting his confession.

They request a meeting of our earliest convenience to settle this matter peacefully.

Other nations are being trialed alongside with us but the details remain anonymous to us.

Until then, the Kabeera Kingdom Embassy and all of its employees will be under house arrest.

General Kashire tried to fight the barricade were defeated. Resulting our knight units to be slaughtered and the remnants to be prisoned as prisoner of war.

We sincerely request for emergency assistance to alleviate the situation.

Recalling how Empress Kumon twitch her eye brows during her parade brought great anger to Lady Avigail. Mere assassins dare to direct their bloodlust to Her Savior. She swore on that day that she and the House of Ara will without mercy bring death to anybody who dares to disturb Her Majesty’s slumber. I wish Her Majesty will allow me to pet her when she wakes up.

P.S. Most of the slave’s reduction policy were from the Islamic Quran. O.o I’m surprise too, I didn’t know the religion itself fought for the end of slavery. This chapter was quite hard to write due to the numerous reference and trying to find a pov that is interesting to see. Hopefully, you guys enjoy it.

P.P.S. Tq all for the notifications about the title. ^^ the title Stimmen Verstummen was written in German because I'm referring it back to a music by Sofia Gubaidulina titled "Stimmen...Verstummen" (1986). specifically the 9th Part where she uses the silence to gratify the climax to come.
