First Chapter of today, enjoy!

Soaring Dragon Continent, Bottom of Mt. Zu

Infusing the rock with his qi, it became harder and more durable than before. The edges of the blade were incredibly sharp, and on the tip was a faint blue glow. This glow indicated that it was fused with qi.

The three demon bears rushed Qiu Zhen, but he was too quick and they only caught his afterimage. His speed was too much for them to handle, appearing above them his hand struck out quick as lightning piercing one of the bears. Bang!

The rock pierced the hide one meter deep causing the bear to feel intense pain, but this wasn’t good enough. Bang! Bang!While Qiu Zhen twisted his body in air, he pierced the bear two more times, drawing more blood before landing.

The bear stumbled under the force and pain of Qiu Zhen’s blows, he staggered into one of its companions, barely staying on its feet. Roar! One demon bear stood on its hind legs and taunted Qiu Zhen. Swiping its paws at him the force was enough to distort the air, and the pressure released was enough to push Qiu Zhen back a few feet. The strength of these demon bears really would make one wish they never came across them, even without direct contact, the force they released was enough to cause one to be blown back.

In a situation like this, if it was another cultivator at Qiu Zhen’s level, they would have chosen to flee, but how could Qiu Zhen run from a fight. The fight was stimulating his qi and he could feel it rising by leaps and bounds, after this fight he would be close to breaking through.

Being light on his feet Qiu Zhen made his move and left a blurred image darting straight for the bear on its hind legs. The bear didn’t know what was coming, it didn’t have any time to react as Qiu Zhen appeared right in front of it and he brandished his rock in the bear's eyes.

Boom!

Qiu Zhen pierced the demon bear in its chest causing it to fall over and create a dent in the ground. Blood started gushing out the hole in its chest, but Qiu Zhen didn’t let it try to recover and he landed on top of the bear and pierced its heart.

Fixing his gaze on the other demon bears, Qiu Zhen said with a cold voice, “One down, two to go!” The two demon bears didn’t think that Qiu Zhen would actually kill one of them, their cultivation was stronger which means it should be easy to kill him off. The anger in their eyes soared, and the killing intent they had felt as if it broke into a new realm.

Feeling the new wave of killing intent directed at him, Qiu Zhen snorted at them. Swosh! Dashing into the face of a bear he was about to pierce it’s eye, but he seen the other bear swiping its paw. Bang! Boom!

Qiu Zhen twisted his body around like a whip and his rock made contact with the demon bears paw causing a shock wave. Under the weight of this demon bear, the power it released was that of a cultivator at the fifth Dao realm, Qiu Zhen’s legs were buckling down. Under his feet was a small crater caused by the blow, if he never had a weapon he would have been dead from the blow.

The other demon bear seeked this chance while Qiu Zhen was currently under pressure from its companion to end it all. In a clapping motion both of its paws were coming closing to Qiu Zhen at a freighting speed, ready to crush him into mincemeat. Boom!

The two paws collided together cased a shock wave that was carried over three meters, however its paws never touched Qiu Zhen. Under the pressure from one bear, the other was trying to crush him, Qiu Zhen let go of the rock weapon and rolled under the bear in the nick of time.

Appearing behind the bear, Qiu Zhen pierced one of its hind legs causing it to turn around swiftly. Disappearing from sight, Qiu Zhen grabbed the rock once more and made his stance. His breathing was rugged, and his qi was nearly exhausted, if he didn’t end this battle soon he would have to flee.

The demon bear swiped its left paw at Qiu Zhen, however Qiu Zhen didn’t retreat from it and instead he took it head on. In an upward motion the rock in Qiu Zhen’s hand met with little resistance as it cut through the paw. The bear was enraged, it’s paw was now gone and it couldn’t hold its balance on all fours. The paw that flew in the air met with Qiu Zhen’s foot as he kicked it with a force full of his qi causing it to break sound and fly towards the other demon bear.

Boom!

A giant hole appeared in the bear's chest, the demon paw of at the second level Dao realm was a weapon 100 times more valuable than the rock. The force and power it generated was enough to pierce through a demon bears body and pierce a rock. If it was a normal demon bear then it would have almost pierced another demon bear, but this paw was infused with Qiu Zhen’s qi making it sharper and more durable than before.

With a giant hole on the bear's chest, it fell to its death, and the other bear lost its balance since it was missing a paw. Qiu Zhen took this chance to approach the last demon bear and he pierced all the way through its eyes killing it.

The last of his strength was used up, and he couldn’t come across another demon beast or else he would have to run for his life. Qiu still had enough strength left to extract the demon cores that were located in their skull.

Demon cores are used to help cultivators speed up their cultivation, however all demon cores have a berserk element inside making it so that people could only absorb 5% of the qi. To Qiu Zhen who had the 5 Heavenly Dragon tattoo, it wasn’t hard to absorb 100% because the tattoo allowed him to absorb 100% of it with the highest purity.

Not too far away from Qiu Zhen a pair of eyes were staring at him with multiple emotions in them. The figure was hidden away in the trees and couldn’t be made out, but once the battle with the demon bears were over, the figure instantly disappeared leaving no trace.

After getting the the three Demon bear cores, Qiu Zhen didn’t cultivate them right away since he was in the land of demon beast who could kill him if they appeared. Instead, he wandered further into a small forest located at the bottom of the mountain, and what he saw left him stunned. His eyes grew big, and he could hardly get the words out of his mouth. “This is…!”
