Help me find errors/mistakes, thanks!

Chapter of the day, enjoy!

You guys were wondering who Yan Xiang was, and i'm like LOL, but you will know when you read below.

(This chapter felt a little different when I was writing it, probably because I changed a few things in my outline xD)

Soaring Dragon Continent, Sky Serpent School

Yan Xiang, Chang Mu’s first wife and first love. She had a gentle aura around her and countless men tried to court her, as for her looks, it was slightly above Li Lan’s. Yan Xiang was the daughter of the patriarch of the Yan Clan, and she held a high status in the clan.

Chang Mu met her when he was only fourteen and it was love at first sight, but the members of the Yan Clan forbid him from being with her. Only when the clan was in a dire situation and no other clan came to help did the clan realise how others would betray them in the blink of an eye. However Chang Mu stood by their side to help them during their time of need, and gained the approval to marry Yan Xiang.

Soon their love blossomed, and although Yan Xiang was weaker than Chang Mu she was an intelligent strategist. Using new idea’s and coming up with solutions that others would never think of, she helped Chang Mu unite the seven kingdoms. Before Chang Mu’s death Yan Xiang was called back to the clan, and he never seen her again. But now, her appearance has resurfaced, and Qiu Zhen could do nothing but stare at the figure in front of his face.

Li Lan who heard him call out a name was startled, not because of him knowing who Yan Xiang is, but because he called the fifteen year old girl that. “Qiu Zhen, she is not Yan Xiang.”

Qiu Zhen’s mind kept flashing with memories of the time he spent with Yan Xiang, and how he held her dearly. Finally he seemed to snap out of his daze, and recollected himself somewhat. He understood that the person in front of him might look exactly like his first love, but she was far too young for that to be true.

The fifteen year old girl didn’t wear any robes that belonged to the Sky Serpent School, instead she had a dark blue dress on. Snow white skin, long black hair and black eyes, her body was perfect, but not as voluptuous as Li Lan’s. She stayed in a meditative position seemingly ignoring the existence of Li Lan and Qiu Zhen.

Qiu Zhen couldn’t help but feel somewhat attracted to this girl, her looks were exactly the same as his first love, how could he not be. Without removing his eyes from looking at her he said, “Who is she?”

Li Lan walked over to the girl and placed her hand on what seemed to be an invisible barrier. “First promise: You do not ask who she is.” Li Lan broke the barrier that surrounded the girl, which startled her awoke.

She opened her large eyes and looked at Li Lan, then took a short glance at Qiu Zhen. “Sister Li Lan, who is that?”

Qiu Zhen took the initiative to introduce himself without the help of Li Lan. “I am inner disciple Qiu Zhen, to meet such a person whose beauty knows no bounds is quite delightful.”

The girl simply ignored the other words that came out of Qiu Zhen’s mouth and only took into account his name. She gave him no further looks, and continued to look at Li Lan, as if she was unwilling to see Qiu Zhen.

There was a small moment of awkward silence, so Li Lan took the initiative to break it. “Sister, this is the person who gave you those pills. He’ll also be giving you more as time goes on.”

Qiu Zhen’s eyebrow slightly twitched, he never agreed to give her any more cultivation pills. His voice was as calm as ever, “Elder sister Li Lan, I’ve never made such a deal.”

Li Lan pouted her lips, “Sure you did, remember the three promises the second is that you will have to help her out.”

The girl snorted, “Hmph! Who needs him to help me, just give me those pills and you can be on your way.”

‘You might look like the woman I loved, but your attitudes are completely different.’ Qiu Zhen thought to himself as he started going back up to the first floor. “No thanks, this seems to troublesome. Elder sister Li Lan, I suggest you change your request.”

Li Lan shot a cold glare at the girl before chasing after Qiu Zhen. “Brother Qiu Zhen, don’t walk away, it's just that sister… well she doesn't understand yet.”

Qiu Zhen stopped walking and turned around, ‘Sister Li Lan surely cares a lot about this girl… who is she?’ Qiu Zhen thought for a moment before speaking, “Sister Li Lan, I think i’m the one who doesn’t understand. Why do I need to help her? What could I gain?”

Li Lan’s face brightened up, she couldn’t offer Qiu Zhen much, and she wasn’t going to give him her body. Qiu Zhen seen that Li Lan was having different thoughts, “Sister Li Lan, i’m not that kind of person, no need to think of me as such.”

Li Lan’s body trembled, she was embarrassed that she had such thoughts, not to mention the thoughts she was having were seen through. Slightly coughing a few times, “Brother Qiu Zhen, I have no such… thoughts. As for what you can gain… I can’t invite you to join our Blue Rose faction… but I can get rid of Ye Fa for you.” Li Lan said Ye Fa because she knew that Qiu Zhen had some sort of problem with him, because they were fighting.

After taking a moment to think it through, Qiu Zhen shook his head. “I’m not worried about him, how about you just tell me who she is.”

“This… I can’t do that. The only thing I can tell you is that she is special, and her surname is Hau.”

‘Hau… i’ve never come across such a surname before… but Li Lan doesn’t seem like she’s lying.’ “Elder Sister Li Lan, ok i’ll help you out, but I want a favor.”

Qiu Zhen took out another small brown bag and tossed it to Li Lan, “Here’s some more cultivation pills. I suggest you tell her to use them wisely because I hardly have any left.”

Li Lan hurriedly pocketed the small brown bag and opened her mouth once more, “Ah, actually you have to do me this one favor, and… even if it means...g-givi-ng my b-b-body i’ll do it!” Li Lan’s voice was shaky when she announced to Qiu Zhen she would give him her body as long as he did this favor.

“Elder sister Li Lan must know if it’s within my power, i’ll do it!”

“I need to leave this school soon, but she won’t have anyone to protect her anymore, so… you’ll need to do it.”

Qiu Zhen was taken back by her request, he never thought that Li Lan would request him to protect a girl he didn’t even know the name of. Qiu Zhen only had to strength at the seventh Dao realm, he could hardly protect himself, how could he protect whoever that girl is. Many questions stirred up in his mind, to protect someone who was seemed highly important would mean that many people would be looking for her, which would mean a lot of trouble for Qiu Zhen. Since the air Qiu Zhen was giving off was only at the first Dao realm, why would Li Lan suggest he protect her when she has a whole faction of powerful females.

“Why don’t you ask the faction? And sister Li Lan must know, my cultivation is only at the first Dao realm, I can hardly protect myself, let alone another.”

“Third promise, you have to do this. The Blue Rose faction doesn’t even know of her existence, and it’s better if hardly anyone knows. I’ll use my status to enroll her into the school, but you must protect her.”

“Even if you enroll her here, her cultivation is only at the fourth Dao realm, she could take care of herself. She’s more powerful than me, so I won’t be able to protect her.”

Li Lan pointed at the black ring on Qiu Zhen’s hand, “It’s obvious you are hiding your cultivation. That's the ring of concealment and cultivation. Many people at this school will never know what it is, but my clan understands it.”

“Ring of concealment and cultivation?” Questioned Qiu Zhen. Qiu Zhen has never heard of this type of ring before, even when he was the emperor, so how could Li Lan’s clan know of such a ring. “How would you know of such a thing?”

“My clan isn’t well known on this continent, but you must understand the world is a huge place. In the western continents, such an item is seen commonly, as for how you obtained it… I have no idea.”

“Since you have such an item, and you have cultivation pills that are rank ten, my only guess is that you are purposely hiding your power. As for how you have rank ten pills, that is a mystery itself, but i’m sure if she sticks with you you’ll obtain more. This is good, for both of us. You won’t be hunted down by those who think you will be an obstacle when you grow older, and for me it’ll help hide her even better. Thus, I’m leaving her in your hands.”

Qiu Zhen could do nothing but shake his head, if only he never put the ring on, then he wouldn’t have to be bothered with this. Now Li Lan thinks he is hiding his cultivation, which he is, but if he only bothered with ‘False Cult’ then she wouldn’t ask him to protect her. ‘Damnit Master, look at the trouble you are bringing your disciple without even trying’

Li Lan glanced at Qiu Zhen before she sat down in a meditative pose. “I’ll be leaving in four days, and won’t be back for a while. I hope you are a man of your word, keep this a secret from everyone, and when she enters this school I hope you can befriend her. Also… a note, she has hardly seen the outside world.”

So that's who she was, and why would she be his nephew xD, a nephew is a male. Also you guys had me worried when you thought you seen that name in the exam, I had to re-read that part over to make sure I never included it. Also, do take note of some names, cause they might reappear :D especially later in this arc!
