Soaring Dragon Continent, Emperors Palace
“Damn! The Scarlet clan, Ye clan, and Blue Tiger clan!? I don’t know who those black clothed figures are, but those three clans are at the top in the Fu kingdom.” A voice yelled from the stands.
The others looked at him before turning their attention back to the four figures. Two of them could be said to be in their prime, while the other two were slightly old. There was a man clothed in all black, the only thing visible were his eyes. However from the way he was looked, you could tell he was younger than the rest. Next was a man in white robes, his eyes were cold as he glared at Qiu Zhen. He had rough black hair and a scar over his eye. From appearance alone someone would be scared, not to mention he was emitting the most killing intent of the four. Next to him was an old man dressed in a red robe, he had long white hair that dropped to his back. Out of the four, he seemed calm. Lastly there was another old man, he was wearing a dark blue robe with white lining.
Qiu Zhen didn’t expect to see Ye Che’s father so soon, it was only a few months ago that he killed his son. When Qiu Zhen looked at the other three, he didn’t even know who they were, but he heard the Scarlet clan. He knew that the old man in red had to be the clan master. As for the other two, he didn’t even know who they were. Ever since he’s arrived at the Sky Serpent school, he hasn’t heard or pissed anyone like those two off.
“Qiu Zhen, did you think you would leave and stay alive for long?” The Ye clan's patriarch spoke in a detached tone.
Qiu Zhen didn’t speak, but stared at him. The Ye clan's patriarch was at the Paragon realm, Qiu Zhen didn’t know how high his chances were of defeating him. If worst came to worse, he could flee. With ‘Thunder Gods step’, Qiu Zhen felt that he would be the fastest person here besides Chang Chi. Unless, one of these others had an agility technique on par with his.
“Too scared to speak? You Should be, you killed my son and you think you’ll live! Let me tell you, even tearing off all your limbs won’t settle it!”
Qiu Zhen took a deep breath. “No, I was just wondering what i’ve done to offend the other ones. Besides killing your son, I don’t think I have killed anyone related to them.”

“You damn brat! You think I don’t remember what you did to my grandson!? Causing him to fail his exam and leaving him unconscious for two months!” The old man in the red robes roared as he took out a spear.
“Fucking brat, my great grandson was stripped naked and hung upside down because of you. You think my Blue Tiger clan will take that sitting down?”
Silly, is the only word Qiu Zhen had for those two. Just because his grandson didn’t pass his exam, he is blaming Qiu Zhen. it’s not his fault that his grandson is weak! If he was stronger and didn’t act arrogant, then he wouldn’t have been left in such a state. If he wants to blame anyone, he should blame his grandson.
Qiu Zhen has never even heard of the Blue Tiger clan, but someone in the stands said it was one of the top clans in the kingdom of Fu. When he was the emperor, he knew most of the top clans, but the Blue Tiger clan was not one of them. Qiu Zhen recalled what happened when he first started his exam to enter the Sky Serpent school. He laughed when he remembered that group of boys who tried to steal his demon cores so they could pass the exam. He taught them a lesson, but in return they went to tell their clan leader.
Qiu Zhen sighed, for children to act in such a way. Qiu Zhen already gave them enough face by not killing their grandsons, but they dare try to kill him! Next time he meets those kids, he’ll be sure to kill them!
“Elders, you must be mistaken. I don’t recall ever killing anyone related to you, so you should just go away. This is between me and the Ye clan’s patriarch.” Qiu Zhen told them while smiling.
“Between you and him? You say you didn’t kill anyone related to us, what about my three brothers? Didn’t they die at your hands?”
“... who are you?” Qiu Zhen asked the man clothed in black.
‘No… not that dream again…’ She told herself as she stretched her arms in the air. Her skin was snow white and had a shine to it. She was wearing a thin fabric over her body that was see-through. Her black hair fell to her back as she moved her knees inwards towards her slim stomach. She grabbed her knees and placed her head down.
‘Why!? Why do I keep thinking about him… I already have someone in my heart.’ She asked herself.
‘Such a man that seems untamed, makes my heart flutter, but I can’t… such a person won’t be in this world much longer…’ She removed her arms and let her legs drop down on the bed. The bed was fairly large, and it had drapes around the edges of it. There were two windows in this white room - that was filled with silver accessories.

Her beautiful oval face turned and looked out the window where the sun let light in. ‘It’s already been a week, I wonder… if you’re still alive…’
----
On a road there was a carriage that was being led by four horses. The carriage was made from wood, but had gold around the edges. On the roof was a golden snake with blue gems in it’s eyes.
Inside was a woman wearing an orange dress that clung to her body revealing her womanly features. She was wearing a black veil over her face, but her attention was focused on the young man in front of her. He had his back against the inner wall of the carriage as his eyes were shut.
The woman smiled, but it couldn’t be seen. ‘We’re almost there, Mo’er, just a little longer until we see your father.’ She told herself as she closed her eyes.
“Mother…” The young man said softly as he glanced at his mother a few feet away from him. She always wore a veil over her face, but he can tell that she was slightly different from before.
“Yes, what is it Mo’er?” She asked him.
“Do you think… Qiu Zhen will be alright? I mean… he doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would cause trouble for no reason. He did bring us father's last message… such a person couldn’t be evil… right?”
The woman sighed as she shook her head. “I don’t know... “
“What if I talk to uncle, won’t he change his mind? Maybe he can be reasoned with, there is no need to kill him.”
The woman came closer to her son and took him in her arms. He leans his head against her chest. “Mo’er, you shouldn’t go back to see uncle. I fear he will use you and then toss you aside when you aren’t worth anything. After we pay a visit to your father you’ll go in closed doors training. You have to be the man that your father was, if not greater. You won’t let mother down, will you?” Her voice was gentle and made his heart feel calm. It was like a child who had a bad nightmare woke up only to be embraced by his mother and told everything would be ok.
“No, I won’t.” He told her as he closed his eyes.
-----
Nothing but dirt and few hundred wooden houses. There were ten rough looking men who seemed to be in their late thirties. They were chatting with each other while a young naked woman served them drinks. She had a collar around her neck, and cuffs around her ankles.
It wasn’t anything new, in this village. The strong dominated the weak. The weak could only obey what the strong say.
The dreams some of getting married before you are twenty while your purity is still intact was a lie. The dream of marrying a man who was strong enough to care for you both while you stayed home and looked after housework was a lie. The dream that you could live your life in peace, was a lie. In this village, a dream is a luxury.
These ten men didn’t have anything covering their legs or neither region, it was completely exposed. Below each one of them was a woman aging from the early teens to late twenties. They were chained together while some of them had cuts on their body.
Why did the men let this happen? Shouldn’t the men protect their loved ones? A man who can’t protect the person they love, shouldn’t be called a man at all.
Outside in the open were a few young children running around playing with dirt on their faces. They are young, and pure, but what happens when they grow up and realize what is happening to their parents?
Looking off into the distance was an old man with grey hair. His face was full of wrinkles, and his clothes were in tatters. Through the holes, one could see his ribs. Within his vision was a figure dressed in black approaching. The figure seemed alone, but the old man had bad vision so everything to him was a blur.
The figure got closer to him, until it entered the village. The old man was surprised, this village was out there and no one really paid them much attention. He has given up on hope a long time ago. He slowly walked himself over to the figure to tell him it was better to leave. He couldn’t let such an innocent person be caught up in their troubles.
“Excuse me” The old man said as he coughed at the end. “It’s better if you… keep moving.”
The figure dressed in black looked at the old man and sighed. For such an old man to be in a situation such as this is a terrible thing. At such an age he should be looked after, not fending for himself.
“Tell me, where is this?” The figure dressed in black asked.
May seem confusing, but... stick with it for now the things that happened will be talked about again.
