Lu Hao waved at Yan Xiu before turning and went to train, he need to improve his strength for the Disciple Recruiting day.

Yan Xiu didn't went straight home, he went to granny Shen's house for lunch. When he reached there, he went down from Bai Yuan and knocked the door before coming in with Bai Yuan. Granny Shen voice rang out from the kitchen.

"Little Xiu? Just sit down first, lunch will be done in a moment." (GS)

"Okay~" (YX)

Yan Xiu took down the meat on Bai Yuan's back and sat down on one of the chair, Bai Yuan sat down on the floor as he was too heavy for the chair.

There was a gentle smell of medicine and herbs coming from the kitchen, it was not the usual bitter smelling medicine or herbs, it was refreshing smell. Bai Yuan also smelled it and waited on anticipation, ever since he followed the human child, he could eat something tasty that he never eaten before. He was truly happy.

Not long after, granny Shen came out of the kitchen. The first time she brought a big pot containing porridge, the second time she brought a bowl of peeled boiled eggs and stir-fried vegetable.

"Here you go, granny's speciality. Medicinal Chicken porridge with a side of soft-boiled eggs and stir-fried medicinal herbs. Now, don't be shy and eat up!" (GS)

Granny Shen scooped out some porridge to a bowl and gave Yan Xiu and Bai Yuan a bowl each. Yan Xiu took a whiff of the porridge, the gentle smell make him relaxed and refreshed his body. He took a spoon and ate a spoonful of the porridge.

It wasn't bitter, the taste of the chicken blended well with the medicinal herbs. It has gentle taste like it's smell but not bland. The soft-boiled egg gave the porridge more viscosity and deeper taste when added and the stir-fried gave it a nice saltiness and texture.

"I figured the training must have drained you, this meal will refresh and energize your body. Granny made a lot, so don't hold back, okay?" (GS)

Just like that, Yan Xiu and Bai Yuan ate the porridge and side dishes clean. Yan Xiu felt his body warmed up and his weariness flushed away by the warmth.

Yan Xiu and Bai Yuan left granny Shen's house with their belly filled and warmed. When they reached home, Bai Yuan placed the pork on the ice box. Yan Xiu took a bath and changed his clothes before coming back to the kitchen. He was going to made something for the hunt day after tomorrow, Sausages!
