A few minutes ago…

As both of them had the same cultivation as Bai Yuan which was at the Inner Foundation realm third stage, they were barely affected by the suppression.

Holding daggers in each hand, Chen Hanchen rushed at the Baller. Liu Feng stayed behind but he took the first attack by shooting his arrow. Blue aura covered the arrow, the Baller raised its hand to block the arrow. That aura was the manifestation of their Zhenqi.

The arrow hit the back of its hand but fell after only leaving a small hole on the Baller's armor. While it was defending, Chen Hanchen already launched his attack. He went in for a stab but a claw was coming from above. He stopped abruptly and changed to an uppercut slash.

The claw fell in front of his face and his left-hand sweep upward followed by a red light. A long but shallow trail was carved on the Baller's tight backhand armor. Realizing he only scratch the armor, Chen Hanchen quickly retreat. Lou Feng covers him by shooting an arrow at the Baller.

The Baller was a bad match-up against Chen Hanchen and Liu Feng. Chen Hanchen was specialized in quick lethal attack, a for with armor and solid defense was he rather avoid. Liu Feng, on another hand, was in a bind. He could pierce the Baller's armor, but to do that, he needed time to store power. And he didn't have the time.

Chen Hanchen was not a tank and could not hold the Baller to buy time for Liu Feng. The battle was in a stalemate, Chen Hanchen and Liu Feng could not cause any significant damage to the Baller. And the slow Baller couldn't land a hit on Chen Hanchen.

Chen Hanchen was about to dive to attack once more when a javelin passed above his head. The Baller didn't bother to defend with its hand, the javelin hit its chest and yet it barely tickles, the javelin fell powerlessly to the ground. Chen Hanchen sweated, if the javelin traveled a little bit lower, it would probably hit him in the head.

Chen Hanchen peeked behind him and before he opened his mouth, he saw a saber and an ax flying toward him. He hastily dropped to the ground while covering his head. The Baller was annoyed and directly swatted the saber and ax like flies. It moved forward and jabbed at Chen Hanchen with its claw.

Chen Hanchen rolled to the side and dodge the claw, he stood and retreat to the back. He looked behind and roared.

"The prey is that beast, not me! Why are you attacking me!?" (CH)

Yan Xiu and the rest could only let out a wry smile. While they did manage to resist the suppression, they still had a hard time moving their body. That throw was everything they had.

Chen Hanchen wanted to say some more but the Baller had attacked him again. He jumped lightly and stepped on the claw, he jumped again and aimed at the Baller's bare face. But unfortunately, the Baller's defense was solid. It quickly raised its other hand and defended its face.

The dagger made a hole in the armor but didn't pierce it. The Ballet put power in its hand and did a backhand hit. Chen Hanchen crossed his hand and was thrown back.

"Xiao Yuan, help the seniors!" (YX)

Yan Xiu and the others could already move, they retreat and hide so that they didn't become a burden to the seniors. Xiao Musheng was still standing at the same place, observing the battle. Bai yuan rushed forward and managed to catch Chen Hanchen.

"Senior, you okay?" (YX)

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks." (Chen Hanchen)

Chen Hanchen disregards the numbness in his arms. Liu Feng took the chance while the Baller defense was open because of its big move.

He shoots three arrows at once and two managed to hit the Baller's shoulder and stomach, the last arrow was deflected by the Baller. Bai Yuan followed quickly with a straight punch, brown-colored aura covered his fist. The Baller already regained its balance and defended with its arm. A dull sound rang out as Bai Yuan's punch hit the Baller's hand.

The Baller groaned for the first time throughout the fight. It could feel the tremor and shocked followed by numbness when the punch hit it. The punch wasn't that powerful but it was heavy. The Baller roared and his claws instantly shrouded by a crimson aura, Bai Yuan felt the danger from the claws. Just when the claw about to attack, four daggers with red aura flew and hit the claw.

The Baller attack was interrupted and Bai Yuan took the chance, he jumped and kicked the Baller with his aura covered kick. The Baller took a step back and Bai Yuan used the momentum of the kick to retreat. Bai Yuan looked at Chen Hanchen but didn't say anything and focused back on the Baller.

"Now we're even." (CH)

"Grrr… (hmph!)" (BY)

"You guys sure get along well." (LF)

Bai Yuan and Chen Hanchen glared at each other. Liu Feng was amused by the two but he soon grew serious. Now, with Bai Yuan added into the fight, they finally had the bare member of a team. Bai Yuan in the front, Chen Hanchen in the middle supporting Bai Yuan, and Liu Feng in the back.

"Bai Yuan, hold that thing off for a few minutes! Hanchen, help him! I'll fire a big one at it!" (LF)

"Leave it to me!" (CH)

"Uhoho! (Don't order me!)" (BY)

Despite out he said, Bai Yuan, rushed forward with his fist covered in aura. Chen Hanchen went with him, helping him. Liu Feng took his arrow and drew it, he gathered his aura on the arrow tip. The aura color gradually darkens.

The Baller could feel that the arrow was dangerous, the power contained in the arrow could harm it. The Baller roared and crimson aura covered its whole body, it threw off Bai Yuan with a backhand hit. Chen Hanchen was shocked by the sudden development and threw his daggers in the hope of interrupting the Baller. But the Baller just deflected the daggers with a slap. The Baller jumped and its body curled up to a ball in the air, it began rotating and headed for Liu Feng. Liu Feng gritted his teeth and was about to let loose his arrow, but a shadow walked past him, it was Xiao Musheng.

"Keep charging." (XM)

"Yes!" (LF)

With Xiao Musheng entering the fight, Liu Feng was instantly relieved and kept charging his aura. Xiao Musheng reached for the spear on his back and revealed an azure spear. He held the blue spear in one hand. The spear was filled with coldness.

"Today is a good day. Let me show you a bit of my power, new hunters." (XM)

Xiao Musheng was still calm with a big crimson ball dashing toward it. Azure aura slowly covered the blue spear in his hand. But unlike the aura of Bai Yuan and the others which didn't have shape, the aura on Xiao Musheng's spear had a definite shape.

It was a spear with a big blade with a serpent coiling on the handle. It was such a vivid image. The Baller sensed an unprecedented danger from the spear and wanted to stop but it was too late, it already entered Xiao Musheng range.

"A totem!" (YX)

Yan Xiu and the other two junior hunters were shocked. A Zhenqi with shape, it matched the definition of a Totem told by Chen Hanchen. That means that Xiao Musheng was an Outer Foundation realm expert!

"Azure Spear fourth move, Rising Wave." (XM)

The spear moved, blue light swept up. The crimson aura of the Baller was instantly destroyed when it came into contact with Xiao Musheng azure aura. The Baller was thrown to the air, the Baller's back armor was ruined. A big gash was carved onto it. It's body opened up in the air.

"Aim for its head." (XM)

Liu Feng aimed and let loose his fully charged arrow. The arrow was like a blue meteor and hit the Baller in the middle of its temple, gouging a big hole on its head.

The lifeless body of the Baller fell to the ground, Xiao Musheng turned to Yan Xiu and the other. He smiled.

"I welcome and accept all of you as the new generation of hunters." (XM)
