《Harvest Factory ~ a Farmer Life》Chap 39 : Foraging (1)

In the morning, Yan Xiu sitting cross-legged in the field after doing his morning chores and breakfast. He cultivated earnestly and felt he was getting close to the next stage. Flying around him was a little stream of green water. Yan Xiu finally reached the second stage of Green Water Healing Spell. Yan Xiu moved his hand and the stream of green water flew above the field before scattering like rain. It mostly fell upon a small sprout.
Yan Xiu opened his eyes and looked at the empty field with only Glass Lime, which was still a little sprout. He tilted his cute little head. He wanted to plant new crops but he needed to go to the city to buy the seeds. Unfortunately, he didn't have the time.
But the truth, Yan Xiu just didn't want to go. It was a long and rough road to the city. The last time he went there with Lu Rianli, he collapsed from exhaustion when he reached home.
Yan Xiu looked at the field again. Leaving it empty like this was not an option but he also didn't want to go to the city. His eyes gazed at Bai Yuan, who was lying languidly on his hammock while occasionally sipping green water from a bucket like wine. Yan Xiu just gazed at Bai Yuan before an idea appeared in his mind.
Trees!
Yan Xiu abruptly stood up. Yes, trees. Before, he was growing vegetables only, and buying the seed from the city was because that was his only choice. A tree sapling was too expensive and he had no way to transport it without spending more money. But now that he could go to the forest, couldn't move some of the fruit trees from the forest to his home? And it was not limited to trees, he could hunt or forage for other bounties. The forest was just like a treasure box! There was also Bai Yuan to help him.

"Xiao Yuan, let's go to the village!" (YX)
"Uho! (Okay!)" (BY)
Hearing Yan Xiu's call, Bai Yuan got off from his hammock and drank the rest of the green water in a big gulp. After burping, Bai Yuan went to Yan Xiu and put him on his shoulder before running to the village.
When they entered the village, they met Chen Hanchen. He was carrying a bag full of meat wrapped in leaves.
"Senior." (YX)
Yan Xiu got down from Bai Yuan and greeted Chen Hanchen.
"What are you doing?" (YX)
"This? I'm distributing the meat to the villagers. This is one of us, hunter's, task." (CH)
"I see. Can I help?" (YX)
"Haha, I'm almost done. I'll count on you next time." (CH)
Yan Xiu nodded.
"Then, senior. Can I ask something? Is it okay if I take the trees in the forest?" (YX)
"Trees?" (CH)
Chen Hanchen was confused by Yan Xiu's question. Trees? Why did he want one? Chen Hanchen remembered Yan Xiu's garden. He thought that Yan Xiu probably wanted to try planting trees now.
"It should be okay. Foraging in the forest is normal and it's not like you'll uproot the whole forest. But be careful, okay?" (CH)
"Okay! Then, bye-bye senior! Let's go back, Xiao Yuan!" (YX)
"Uho! (Okay!)" (BY)
With Yan Xiu on his shoulder, Bai Yuan rushed back home. Looking at the two disappearing figures, Chen Hanchen shaped his head.
"Energetic kids." (CH)
He then resumed his work.
@@@
The two went back quickly, Yan Xiu went to the garden and toward the shed. It was a wooden shed the size of two rooms connected to the house. It was where Yan Xiu's papa used to store anything related to gardening. It was different from the storage where he stored other misc items.

Yan Xiu went inside and saw rows of gardening tools hanging on the wall. The bigger tools like carts and other things lined tidily on the floor. Yan Xiu grabbed a foldable cart and brought it out. He folded the cart open, it was bigger than the cart he used to deliver vegetables. It was big and wide enough for four adult pigs sitting on it. It also had four wheels for stability and strength. It also has an inscription on it that made it tougher and harder to break. Yan Xiu told Bai Yuan to pick up four big buckets stacked together and load it on the cart.
Yan Xiu picked up two big spades and put it inside the bucket, he also picked up a pruning shear and a few sheets of old burlaps. He also put a pair of sharp machetes and ropes inside the bucket. Looking at the equipment on the cart, Yan Xiu thought if he missed anything. He went to his parent's room and took out a thin book from the bookshelf, the book was titled "Guide to transplanting trees and plants."
Yan Xiu opened the book and read it. Yan Xiu quickly read the book and memorized the steps to transplant trees and plants. He put the book back and ran to the garden. He picked up a spade and dug a hole in the garden, he put a distance between the hole and field. Yan Xiu recalled the Bananut Tree size and started digging. He stopped when he thought it was big and deep enough. He put the mountain of soil near the hole and dug up more holes with various sizes. Bai Yuan just sat there watching him. Yan Xiu let him be because Bai Yuan would work hard later.
Yan Xiu stabbed the spade down. He wiped the sweat on his forehead and jumped on the cart.
"Xiao Yuan, let's go!" (YX)
"Uho!" (BY)
Gripping the handle of the cart, Bai Yuan pulled the cart and headed toward the forest. Because of the size of the cart, it was difficult moving around in the forest with the trees and whatnot. Bai Yuan pulled the cart slowly and carefully before they finally reached the Bananut tree.
The appetizing sweet smell lingered in the air. The yellow tree was there with fruits dangling on it. They got closer, Bai Yuan jumped and plucked two plump fruits before handing one for Yan Xiu. It was a tacit understanding between them to consume the bananut fruit first before they started working. The thick taste of milk, banana, and cheese engulfed Yan Xiu, it was an addicting taste. The two finished the fruit in no time. Bai Yuan was about to reach for another but was stopped by Yan Xiu. There were five fruits left and Yan Xiu planned to use it to make something special for the welcoming banquet tonight.

The Casual
Notice: On hiatus. *profanity tag added just in case a bit of swearing is required, but I'll try to keep it as profanity-lite as possible* RealWorldIII came with the motto "Bringing the imagination back into the gaming" with an innovative skill combination system that promises to create unique (see: not-actually-unique) characters tailored to each player's preferences (see: we-swear-it's-not-random) Alex is a random guy with the motto "Well... whatever" with a history of being at the top of the gaming scene (see: he was a kid back then) that after twenty years of working for daily necessities finds himself facing a tough dilemma: do I go back to being a corporate slave, or do I gain money by playing a game no questions asked? (see: not really a dilemma) The only question is, can an actual "casual", even if ex-pro, survive constantly playing a game? or will he end banging his head on the wall? The story will unfold mainly in-game, with little if any real life events happening.

Apex Legend in Another World [Litrpg/Dungeons]
Pretty much your typical cliche 'Another World' type novel but with Apex Legend. A gamer named Sammy Rwen accidentally blew herself up and reincarnated into another world with a System. This is a world of Adventuring and Dungeons. I don’t own anything related to Apex Legend, this is a fanfiction created by me. I also don't own anything I reference in the story.

Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.
