Kai stood up before the sunrise and walked to the carriage just to see the two kids sleeping while embracing each other.

He smiled on his mind before he left the dungeon just to collect a few branches that were laying on the ground outside just to put them on the ground of his own dungeon, where three people were sleeping.

‘Isis said something about getting DP from people that sleep inside my dungeon… and I think having those three around might not be so bad at all.’ He thought as he waited looking outside from the cave’s entrance.

Kai sat there as he waited for the sun to rise, he didn’t move as the girl walked out of the carriage and stop besides him.

“Mister Wolf… what should I do for breakfast?” She asked after seeing the him did not move at all when she got closer to him.

“Whatever you want, soon my subordinates will come out from the den, and we will go outside to hunt. There are some berries, fruits and mushrooms inside, just take them.” Kai said without taking his eyes from the horizon where the sun was finally getting up.

It was at this time that all his surviving minions walked outside of the den, the females and males together, though the females had a bigger belly than before, it wouldn’t stop them from being able to go out and hunt, at least for the morning.

“I’ll come back later, just don’t give anything to the woman inside, am I clear?” Kai said looking at the girl, who slowly nodded her head. “Then you’re good to stay without supervision.” He said before he stood up looking at the surviving minions.

No wild dogs were left, they all had evolved into wolves and he didn’t knew if he should be happy or not.

‘I just hope I can get to summon some today or tomorrow… I do want to have some more hands to help dig this place.’ He thought before he walked outside, followed by all the 22 surviving wolves.

Laura saw Mister Wolf walking outside with many of his subordinates and she was surprised to see the number of wolves he had under him and they all followed his orders.

“Mister Wolf is cool!” She said with her eyes shining. She stared at the disappearing wolves for some time before she woke up of her daydream. “I need to prepare breakfast for Nathan and for myself.” She said as she walked back in.

She looked around and found many berries and mushrooms that were good for humans to consume and some more herbs for her brother.

‘I’m happy that Daddy taught me which berries I could eat.’ Laura thought with a smile on her face as she walked back to the carriage, which she didn’t know how Mister Wolf got, but she didn’t ask.

“Sister…” Nathan said as he crawled to the carriage’s door.

“Nathan, don’t move so much… you’re not recovered yet.” She said walking up to her brother, who had a better face than the day before.

“I know… just feeling better…” Nathan said as he rested on the floor of the carriage.

“Then… here.” She said as she passed some of the berries to her brother. “You can safely eat them.” She said as she ate one of them and before she could control a smile appeared on her face.

“Sister…?” Nathan asked as he looked at her.

“It is nothing… just that Mister Wolf’s berries are tasty.” She said a bit embarrassed but continued to eat the berries with a happy expression, while her brother slowly eat one at a time, making sure to chew them before he gulped them down and even this made him grow tired.

“I’m too weak…” He said after he finished eating some of the berries. “And I can’t eat… much…” He cursed as he felt his own weak body.

“Mister Wolf will cure you, he definitely will.” Laura said as she petted her brother’s head. “Mister Wolf is great, just now he walked out with many others following them…” She started talking about the things she had seen, how the wolves followed him and that they didn’t even try to attack her or his brother once.

“They’re… intelligent…” Nathan said with a smile on his face.

“They’re probably are… but you know… I think that Daddy and Mommy would like to see them as well.” Laura said a bit sad.

“Sister… Father and Mother… they will try… to hurt Mister Wolf…” He said staring at his sister’s eyes from the place he was.

“I know… Daddy is scared because Mister Wolf is a meany… but he is good…” She said looking at the carriage door and waiting to see the big wolf shadow she thought was cool, but nothing was seen. “I need to make your tea!” She suddenly remembered and started to grind the herbs she had found before she added water on them just so she could sift the mixture before it finally was placed on a glass.

“Thanks sister…” Nathan answered as he received the glass before he gulped down the strange green liquid. “The taste didn’t change…” He smiled bitterly as he placed the cup down.

“Maybe I should have added some fruit juice…” Laura said thinking.

“Kids, what are you doing?” Suddenly a low voice came from behind and from the carriage door, a big wolf head could be seen.

“Mister Wolf!” Both answered with a smile on their face.

Snorting the big wolf left the carriage. “I’ll be going to eat, don’t disturb me for a while, and girl… make sure to feed the horses that are on the back.” The wolf said as it walked away.

“Horses?” Laura asked and looked at her brother, who looked back at her. “Mister Wolf has horses?” She asked and Nathan shrugged.

“You should be the… one to know, sister…” He said as he sat. “Want… help?” He asked her sister.

“You just stay there and rest, I’ll see what Mister Wolf said and will come back soon.” Laura said looking at her weak brother, who smiled at her while he slowly waved his hand at her.

She walked all the way to the room she had seen the woman and there she noticed a strange opening and there she saw it, two horses.

“He do has horses!” She said amused as she arrived at the door. “Hello there horses.” Laura waved her hands to the horses, who were a bit wary of her because of the smell that was all over the dungeon.

“Girl, you’re here?” The woman’s voice could be heard coming from near and when she looked at her side, Laura saw the woman, who was wearing no clothes standing near her cage’s door.

“Hello there… I need to remind Mister Wolf to bring clothes for you…” She said looking at the woman before she picked some berries just to throw at the horse’s room.

“Girl, go back to town and tell them that my party was wiped out and to make them bring reinforcement.” The woman said looking at her. “Tell them that Dawn Brenda Phoebe Bush is being held prisoner as well.” She said looking at her.

“But… if I do that… wouldn’t they hurt Mister Wolf?” Laura asked the woman, Dawn, while she tilted her head. “You see… Mister Wolf isn’t a bad guy, he saved me and is now helping my brother.” She smiled to the woman, whose face paled as she walked towards the end of her room as a shadow fell over them.

“So you’re still trying to take me down.” Mister Wolf said and Laura shook her head. “You’re saying she is not trying to kill me?” He asked as she looked at him.

“She was trying to be rescued… I think.” Laura said placing her two index fingers at the side of her head.

“I don’t care. Woman, here.” The wolf said as he used his paw to push a bundle inside the cell. “You can wear that and just to be clear, if you try to run away, I’ll show no mercy.” He said as he walked away from the room leaving the two female humans alone.

“He is scary… how can you befriend such a beast?” The woman, Dawn, asked and Laura just tilted her head. “You know how scary he is, stop pretending you don’t see it.” She said as she looked at the clothes before her. “THESE ARE NOT MY CLOTHES!” She shouted as she opened the white robe.

“But it fits you, doesn’t it?” Laura asked looking at the woman. “And Mister Wolf is scary, but he is cool! He does many things and he is still growing!” She said with her shining eyes.

“I-I don’t want to understand that! Please, just kill me!” Dawn said as she dropped on her knees. “To think that beast is still young and is getting stronger… I don’t want to think when he grows more.” She said and looked weakly at the girl, who was staring at her through the stones bars.

“But… Mister Wolf is cool. He hunts, grow herbs, he is fluffy… and even has a doll of The Goddess of Life with him.” She said with a smile.

“A doll of The Goddess of Life?” Dawn asked and Laura nodded. “I can’t believe it… I did not see anything like that.” She said letting her head fall.

“It is because the doll is an idol… I have seen it talking and moving… it said to be the Goddess herself and it was the one that made me see Mister Wolf’s kindness.” She said as she watched the woman slowly wear the clothes before her, even though she would murmur things from time to time.

Kai’s face was hot and he was quite happy to be covered in fur or else he wouldn’t be able to maintain a straight face after he heard the girl praising him so much.

‘So you’re a noble…’ Was the first thing that passed at his mind as he heard the woman’s name but soon after that the girl started praising him so he couldn’t just stay there and listen to their talk. ‘I have to think on a way to make her teach me magic… I want to be able to do some of the things she did while she fought me, and it might even lead my minions to evolve without me needing to buy the evolution line.’ He smiled as he sat there, waiting for the girls to stop their talk.

It took a while but soon the girl walked outside and stopped besides him.

“What do you want?” Kai said without turning his head to face the girl.

“It is okay to not give food for her?” She asked as she pointed to the cell. “I…” She started saying but Kai stopped her by placing his paw over her head.

“You don't think nothing. She will eat when the time is right.” He said looking at the paw, which was bigger than the girl’s head. “And as a noble and an adventurer, she is stronger than many.” He said taking his paw away from her head.

“A noble?” The girl asked looking at him.

“She has a surname. Which means to be a noble, and her name is long as well.” Kai said as he stood up before slowly making his way towards the entrance, where four wolves stood as guards. “She is probably from a good family since she tried to use her name as a bargain chip.” He said to the girl, who was following him.

“But Mister Wolf… you still need to feed her.” The girl said as she walked besides him.

“I'll think about it. She will eat when I see it is fit… and don't you or your brother dare to feed her… I'll know if you do, you're going to be thrown away while being chased by my subordinates.” Kai said as he stopped besides the carriage.

“… Okay, Mister Wolf.” The girl said as she placed her hand at his leg.

“Good, you stay put here, I have things to do inside the cave, just stay quiet and pay attention to your brother's health.” He said and he watched the girl enter the carriage before he walked back to the place the noblewoman was being held captive.

Kai arrived there quickly and stopped before the stone door.

“W-What do you want?” The woman said as she held her arms crossed before her body, which was against the farthest wall.

“Was thinking if the noblewoman would like to have a small talk.” He said with a smile on his lips. “Or eat something…” He taunted by placing a small bag of rations and berries before the cage, away from her arms reach but close enough so she could almost reach it if she stretched her arms.

Kai waited for a few minutes as he watched the woman look at him and at the berries a few times. “Maybe you're not hungry, after all.” He said as his paw covered the bag and berries.

“Wa-” The woman started but stopped as he looked at her. She had closed her mouth but he was able to hear her gulping once before she looked away.

“It looks like you can talk now.” Kai smiled as he said that. “I will give two conditions… one, you will be teaching me magic without hiding or omitting anything…” He said staring at her as he moved a few berries closer to the bars just to stop talking.

“…” The woman looked at him before she opened her mouth, while she took small and slow steps towards him. “And the second thing is?” She said as she arrived closer to the stones that secured her inside the cell.

“So you can talk normally.” Kai said sarcastically. “The second thing is, you will be given some freedom inside the dungeon but you can’t kill or harm any of my subordinates wolves or me.” He said staring at the woman, who did not move from the place she had stopped.

“I-I'll think about it…” She said as she watched Kai, who did not walk away. “W-Will you not attack me if I bend to get the food?” She asked with shaky voice.

“Go ahead, I wouldn't attack you after making sure to make you my prisoner, it wouldn't be helpful at all if I killed you… though I do not promise that I won’t server a leg or arm if you don't follow my rules.” He said as he took his paw away from behind the berries.

Kai saw the girl shake as he said that and couldn't help but think he had probably talked too much, but he wouldn't apologize, this was the personality of the beast ‘Kai’ not his own human personality ‘Paul’.

He watched the woman slowly bent and pass her hands through the stone bars just to get the berries and bring them inside before she took distance from the place she was.

“Good.” Kai said before he stood up. “You will survive a bit longer with those… I will try to talk to you later, and I hope you will give me a positive answer.” He said as he slowly walked away carrying the bag of rations to a nearby place just to throw it there, on a place she could see but would not be able to touch.

“You're just too evil…” He heard as he entered the path to the second room.

‘That is my character.’ Kai said on his mind while a smile floated on his beastly lips.

Terra sat before her dungeon, as she slowly cried while covering her tiny eyes. “Stupid me… why did you have to accept that challenge?” She said as she continued to cover her eyes.

After she came back, her DP was almost empty, again and even with her two minions, she could do almost nothing as her power was still too limited since the two that she had right now where only the weakest minions she could have in her dungeon.

“I have to regrow my dungeon now…” She said after an hour sitting and doing nothing. “I need to make my minions grow even stronger than before… and maybe, just maybe… ask that wolf player to form a party with me… if I am able to find him.” She said before she ordered the two small minions to come with her so she they could hunt something for them, even if their number was small, she still could have them ‘breed’ themselves, which was something she had yet to understand because it would take three days and before she knew new wood dolls would be walking around her dungeon.

‘I should do that… like when I did at first and might be able to get a few variations as well.’ Terra thought as she walked to the forest with her lance in hand together with her two minions.

She walked with her two small dolls for some time before they found two rabbits, which they quickly killed by piercing their heads with their lances and using her own shadow, she grabbed the two bodies and made them go to her dungeon before she continued to hunt but afraid of hunting bigger animals inside the forest while her strength was so low, she only hunted rabbits and lizards just to stop once she hit the 15 mark.

“With this… I might be able to get some of my minions back.” She said as she wiped her ‘sweat’ out of her head. “We’re going back.” She said to her minions and they made their way back to the cave she lived.

Terra arrived and sighed in relief as she saw that there was no other enemy that wanted to fight her or the guy from the other day.

“I… I need more minions…” She said and sighed as she opened the menu and sighed at the number of the points she would need to use just to make new minions. “I can have 25… and I only have 2 minions, to maximize that number I would need to used 230 DP… and I have 290…” She murmured as she looked at the screen before her.

‘It is a need…’ Terra thought and used 160 points to make 16 more wood dolls to appear before her and a smile appeared on her face as well. ‘Even though they’re the weakest ones… with these numbers I might have a chance of growing them to be stronger than before.’ She thought as she continued to work around her dungeon, by making new weapons using the branches and stones she had gathered during her hunt with the minions.

“Everything is in order.” She said with a small nod of her head. “You! Go hunt some rabbits and lizards inside the dungeon with these weapons!” Terra shouted giving wood blades, wood maces and wood lances to the new minions she had just summoned.

She saw the minions slowly move and gather the weapons before they headed to hunt the animals inside her dungeon and it made her smile, even if it was only a bit, it made her see that with good coordination and proper instructions her minions could grow in a way different than the last time she made her dungeon.

“I’ll make you see… I’ll use this opportunity to grow stronger!” Terra said as she lifted her small fist towards the sky. “You just wait, you jerkface!” She shouted towards the sky.
