CHAPTER 5-Back to Reality
Opening his eyes, Jayson realized he was once again back inside of the capsule. Getting up, he stretched his body.
It seems like not moving for 24 hours was still quite a pain. He also felt extremely sore. Guess what you do in-game might affect the outside world.
He saw other people getting up and began to talk with the person closest to him.
"Hey, how's your experience been so far?" -Jayson
"It's been a pain in the ass. I started off as a human and decided to go for a sniper-like class, but who knew that the weapon I would have would weight 500 kgs. I've been strength straining for the past few days. I'm up to 200 strength, and 178 endurance but still can't hold the weapon up for longer than 3 minutes." -???
"Sounds hard. I've started off as a Void-Elf, so I've been learning magic for the past week. My intelligence and wisdom are above 150, while my willpower is around 75. My name's Jayson, what's yours?" -Jayson
"Oh, my names Allen. I have a friend who went for a earth magic, and he told me that it takes hours upon hours of meditating and such to do anything. I don't have anywhere near that amount of patience." -Allen
"Yeah, while it's not physically exhausting, you end up with a migraine after trying to hard. We should probably hed back to the main hall to see why we got kicked out." -Jayson
"Yeah let's go." -Allen
Walking side-by-side, the two eventually reached the main stage and took a seat like the rest of the players were doing. On the stage a timer was going down until something happened.

Guess that will tell us when the dev will come out.
Waiting till the timer ran, the timer disappeared and the dev appeared once more.
"Hello to you all! i hope you have enjoyed the past 5 days, well 1 day, of your virtual experience. I know you all want to know why you are here, so let me begin." -Dev
"Basically, today you will learn everything you need to about the game, and you guys will give us dev's some feedback about how realistic the game has been so far. First thing you need to know, is what the game does to you in reality." -Dev
"As I'm sure you can all see, your bodies are sore. This is because the game actually effects your real life body. Not only do you get stronger and your reactions get faster but over time you may gain some of your skills. Basically, if in-game you have hearing that is 1000 times stronger, in reality your hearing might become 10 times stronger than a normal humans. If you have special night-vision, your eyes in reality may change and you may also gain a very slight change. While it is ,extremely tuned down, with extraordinary skill levels you may see bigger changes." -Dev
Stopping, he let it sit in. People began to speak to one another and Jayson looked at Allen.
"How is this possible? Can people's bodies change to how they are ingame? -Allen
"Ok people, now that you have heard that, I will tell you the rest. As I said, your body will change, but we have limiters in place that will stop you from say, getting flight or growing an extra pair of limbs. It will probably be 2 months in reality before you guys notice the smallest of changes. In one real year, you should all have changed quite a bit. We have tested this, and it is all safe. if you have anymore questions, just let me know. Now you will all be directed to the feedback area." -Dev

Walking away, he left the audience to talk between themselves.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3 hours later.
Jayson and Allen had gone to do the feedback together, and met up once again afterwards to speak. There, Jayson learned that Allen had found out from his master that the elves and dwarfs may go to war soon, so he would have to be careful.
Getting back into the capsule, this time for a week outside or 5 weeks in-game, Jayson prepared himself for hell.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in game now huh, time to go over to Full and see what I have to do now. Hopefully he lets me battle against something weak so I could level up.
Getting off of his bed, Jayson left his room and walked once more to the training hall. It seemed that he was actually the only Void-Elf to spawn in this particular station. The closest person to him was 120 parsecs away, on the Void-Elf Main Station, Station Veta.
"Finally back I see Relfem. I guess you want to go back to training?"

This has been a shorter chapter, but as promised here is the full status for Jayson

While it does seem like he gained a very large improvement, don't forget that as stated last chapter, a baby is around level 500 when born so a baby technically is still stronger than him.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
