A new day, a new start and a new objective. I am all set to save Lisa right now. The first thing that i realized i have to do is to train Aria. If i am going to take her with me then she has to be strong enough to protect herself. That’s why i talked to her about this. Of course, she agreed without hesitation. So we started our day from her training. My first task is to raise her status. Her current status is very low compared to me.

Her race doesn't show up just like my health. I think i should get used to it. By the way she also has two abilities like me.

Speed learning : Increases speed to learn things. Works on everything

Mana trace : Trace the mana. Unique ability made from vampire and beastman blood.

Her abilities is what makes her amazing. She can learn things at much faster rate than me. So first thing is that i made her exercise a little. This means running on the road. So as we were going to our destination. I made her run throughout the way. After an hour of running. She became dead tired. So we took a rest and decided to have breakfast.

“hmmm...I think i should use some heavy stones to increase your strength.”

“ummm.. master are you sure this will work?”

I knew her better than anything and understood that she was doubting her own abilities. She was used to being called useless all her life but now that someone actually believes in her, she is afraid of not making upto my expectations. I sat beside her and put my hand around her waist.

“Don’t worry. It’ll be alright.”

I said reassuringly. After taking the breakfast we got back to our training. The first day ended up while going through small exercises. I made her do little things here and there. We encountered multiple slime on our way. I took those chances to teach her about real combat. At first, she was baffled but after going through four or five slime. She killed them mercilessly. At night i checked her status again.

“Wow that is a lot of increase in the status. Your ability is amazing Aria. At this rate, you will become strong enough faster than i expected.”

“Thank you, master..I also think now that i should work harder in order to get better.”

She said as she leaned over me. I put my hand through her hair and kiss her on the head.She looks up to me and i kiss her. She smiles and hug me. I pat her back for a while and as i was about to put my hand on her breast, i heard sweet breathing. I lift her head a little and found her deep in sleep.

“I guess, she was tired. Well then i think i should call it a day today.”

I slept while thinking of my future plans. I am already moving back towards Niveta town. The reason for that is if i continued my journey to Divane town, there is no way i can save Lisa. I need information about Nestor. Only thing that i know right now is that Lisa knew him. Nestor this time it won’t be the same like before. I will teach you the greatest pain you have ever tested in your life.

One week is already passed away since that night. I am currently watching over Aria as she fight a pack of monsters. This week was really hard for both me and Aria. She had to go through all that tough training and i had to watch her getting injured every time. Even now i am clutching my fist as she struggled herself to fight monsters.

“yaaaaaaaaa…..” She screamed as she killed the last monster.

“good work..”

She looked at me with tired eyes and smiled. I gave her a water bottle. She drank it right away. By the way she is lot stronger right now than she was before. I had to be really harsh with her during this training. We moved back to our tents and i made lunch. As we were eating the lunch i checked her status.

“Well i guess we are progressing very well for now. Why don’t you take a day off for today, Aria?”

“No it is fine master. For now i want to get stronger.”

She said while putting her fist out. I smiled a little and motioned her come close to me. She came to me while smiling shyly with her cheeks turning red and sat on my lap while resting her back on my chest. I put hands around her body and she closes her eyes.

“Don’t do it too much, ok. It’ll be meaningless if you get hurt.”

“of course, because if i do get hurt, master will be hurt too.”

Apparently i was taking some of her wounds throughout this week so she doesn't have to wait for injuries to heal and continue her training. She tried to refuse it every time when she saw the pain on my face. I pat around her shoulders and hands.

“hmmm...maybe you’ll grow some muscles and become like Carlos…”

“wh-wh-what...i am not growing any muscles.”

“But look it is already hardened over here at your arms.”

“n-n-noooooo.. what should i do master...I don’t want you to dislike me.”

I lift her chin with my hand.

“Well if that happen, you can carry me to bed..” I said while winking.

“what..muuu. master don’t tease me.” She said while puffing her cheek.

We both laughed and continued our flirting for a while.

It is already 15 days since that night. We finally made it back to Niveta town. When i tried to enter the town this time. The guard stopped me.

“Sir Birnmin is looking for you. We will take you there. Come with us.”

I sighed before handing them out a gold coin. These guards are corrupt as ever. As we were moving around the town, Aria asked me.

“Master where are we going?”

“Well first let’s go to a weapon and armor shop.”

After searching around for a while we found a good shop. We moved in and a person in his 70’s or 80’s looked at us through his glasses.

“Kid, this shop has really expensive materials. If you want beginners equipment then go to other shop.”

“Don’t worry. I am here to do business.”

“Well than how can i help you.”

“Show me a good armor for me and her.”

He goes back somewhere and comes out with fours sets of armors.

“This one is 50 gold. It is really of high quality. It can even block high grade weapons and this one is low weight but highly protective……”

He explained the prices and description of all the armors. I chose two of them. We didn't take heavy armors as it will be difficult for us to move. We took two armor sets which covers our chest, back and shoulders. The set also comes up with gauntlets. Then we moved on to weapons. I already had my sword so we mainly need to buy weapons for Aria.

After looking through various swords, she still couldn't decide.

“Did you found anything good?”

“I don’t know. i am really confused master..ah..”

Suddenly her eyes moved towards a set of knives. The shopkeeper brought them to the front desk.

“These are the best items i have in this shop. It is 300 gold. It is expensive but great.”

He said as he takes out two shining silver knives from the sheath.

“ok we are buying that..”

“master are you sure? They are really expensive.”

“You like them right. We will take them.”

I said as i handed the money to the shopkeeper.

We came out of the shop all dressed up and moved towards our second destination which is Adventurer's Guild.

As soon as we entered in the guild, the counter lady Mila noticed us and ran towards me.

“Den where were you? Sir Birnmin was looking for you all over the town”

“Well things happened…”

“things?”

“Let’s put that aside for now. Mila can i meet Carlos right now. It is argent.”

“but..he is…”

I put my hands on her shoulders and bring my face closer to her. She blushes and stutters with her words.

“Wh-what are you doing, Mr. Den.”

“Mila..”

“ye-yes”

“Please do this for me. I need your help.”

She looked into my eyes before nodding and take us to the same room as before. Carlos comes out after a minute.

“Yo..I heard your accomplishment at Birnmin Mansion. I thought you would be already at the different town by now.”

“Yes actually there is something i have to talk to you about. You said you are a warrior and won’t go back on your promise of helping me right.”

He looked at my serious eyes and sat on the couch. He drank the tea poured by Mila.

“So what happened…”

I told him everything that happened during our trip to Divane town. By the time my story ended, i could see the tension rising in him as sweat start to fall down from his head. He took a sip of tea before speaking.

“You drink tea too much..”

“haha..it is to calm myself down. Things have become really bad, Den. Nestor Bristol is a renowned army general of kingdom and also the chosen of Goddess Vena. It will be really hard to take Miss Lisa back.”

“I already know all that, Carlos. I am asking you if you can help me with this.”

He widened his eyes at my straight forward reply.

“hmmm..you really changed huh..Den”

“really..”

“Yes you are not the same guy i had in my clutches before. Well then, let’s see…..I think first you should find a mean to travel there. Nestor’s castle is in southern end of the Kingdom. It is surrounded by mountains from one side while forest of giants from other side.”

“Forest of giants?”

“It is the forest where giants live. Another thing you should be concerned about that he also has an army at his disposal. You may have fought with him one on one. But you may lose this time before even reaching to him. So you need some manpower right now. You can buy mercenaries. But they won’t be enough and costs lot of money.”

“hmmm..ok..anything else.”

“Mila, please can you do this for me” She blushed and averted her gaze.

“Well then i am leaving..”

“Where are you going master?”

“To the Birnmin mansion.”
