《Artificial Biological Runic intelligence》Chapter 22

Kaylen woke up after 50 minutes feeling mentally refreshed but physically weak. Then she started cultivation while also using her body empowerment and accelerator mana regeneration. She did that for six hours because she had nothing else to do. In that time she had unlocked an evolved skill, the Intermediate Body empowerment and it was already at 27 level. When it was active, it gave her a 200% bonus on her physical stats, and the mana cost was at 50 mana per second. The effect of the skill was like the previous one, making her blood vessels more blueish when the mana moved inside them. She was also able to use both of them at the same time. With both of them at work, she was able to move about with her body, but she didn't have the same strength as she used to.
A little while later, a maid came into her bedroom without knocking, and she saw Kaylen being everywhere blueish. The maid dropped everything she had on her hands and fainted. Kaylen went closer to her, sat on her knees and checked her out. The maid did have some health issues, but overall she was fine. She used her healing to fix every health problem and did some DNA fixes. When she finished, the maid woke up. The maid looked again at Kaylen being all blue, but this time she went ahead and traced with her hand the blue veins on Kaylen's skin.
"Are you using a spell or something like that?" She asked while she still had her hand on Kaylen's skin. "Yes." Kaylen simple answered. "And you did something to my body didn't you? I feel some changes being made to me right now." Kaylen gave her a nod and said. "I healed all of your health problems, in the next few days you will see some changes on your skin and face, but nothing too dramatic. What will be most dramatic is the headaches you always had at nights, those will go away forever. And your body will be at peak condition for years to come." The maid was shocked, but she still managed to say thanks and hugged Kaylen. The maid's face was full of tears, tears of happiness, and joy.
Kaylen hugged her back after a second had passed. A minute later, the maid was calm enough to stop crying and hugging Kaylen. She stood up and cleaned the mess she had made and then said. "I will bring a new tray with food." When the maid left, Kaylen sat on the bed. She observed the paintings that were on the walls. She had never stayed and watched them because every time she was in the bedroom, she slept or cultivated and did nothing else. All the paintings had something in common with what she observed they depicted plains with trees and mountains. With all the observation that Kaylen did in the room, she found a paper on a bedside table under the window. It was the magic paper that Elora always used. She didn't remember putting it there at all. All her things were in the pants pockets. She searched her pockets and found the spell that Elora had written for her. Now confused Kaylen stood up and went to pick up the paper

The words on the paper didn't make any sense. Kaylen read a couple more times before she put it back. The maid came to the room after a few more minutes had passed with Kaylen's breakfast on a plate. "Sorry for bringing you so little. The cooks had too little time to prepare you something else. And I'm sorry with what I did before." She gave the plate to Kaylen and when outside. Kaylen finished her meal fast and went to the bathroom. She wanted to speak Alica about the paper. She knew that Alica was in the bathroom because of her skill.
When Alica saw her moving inside the bathroom, she shouted. "How in the god's name can you move already?!" The book that was in the air dropped inside the bath's soapy water. "It's a few spells that I use that make me able to move around, but I still don't have the same strength that I used to," Kaylen answered. "And your book is probably finished." Alica looked confused for a second, but then she panicked. She looked around her and found the book that was now wet. "My father is going to kill me." She said in a panicked voice. "I can't help you with that. I don't know how to unwet a book as of yet." Alica looked at her for a few seconds and then her eyes went wide. "You are right! We can make a spell to remove the water from the book! Can you produce a runic spell and remove the water? Please." She said with pleading eyes. "I can think of something, but you shouldn't expect to work really," Kaylen said, but before she did that, she joined Alica. After that, she closed her eyes and went to work. Alica placed the wet book on the side of the bath and waited for Kaylen.
A couple of minutes later Kaylen opened her eyes. But before she could execute her new spell, a blue screen popped into her vision.
Spontaneous magic.
You can use simple spells spontaneously.
The skill can be used more efficiently by making images of before and after of the item. (Videos and words work too.)
You can also use mana to create defensive and offensive spells.
Every level in this skill will lower the mana cost.
The previous spell became nullified.
Kaylen used her new skill in the wet book. She made a small row of images in her mind as to how the mana should work. When she finished with that, she placed her hand on the book and forced mana to go into the book. A few seconds later. The book became dry like how it was supposed to be. Alica watched with amazement in her eyes. "You are a lifesaver you know that Kaylen?" Alica said. "I know I am a lifesaver. I even saved a life like a day before." Kaylen simple said. "I got sidetracked. I came here to ask you about a paper that I found in my room. It had strange words written on it."

"What kind of paper?" Alica asked. "It was like what Elora was using. The magic one. Or at least it felt like that when I touched it." Kaylen answered. "Can you describe it a little bit more? You said the paper felt like the magic one. Tell me did you felt and bumps on the paper os something like that?" "No, it was smooth, and even felt like the same magic had created the words too. I didn't feel like someone had written on it." "I think I know who sent you the letter." "So it's a letter?" "We think so. We had many of those coming our way from time to time."
"Do you know who the sender might be?" Kaylen asked. "My father and I think that it's my grandmother. She had gone missing a couple of years earlier, and no one knows where she went. All we know is that she is still alive." She said with a hint of sadness in her voice. "My grandmother was the one who taught me how to summon demons." "Do you have any other letters that I can read. Maybe I will be able to understand the words or find patterns on the words." "We have my grandma's diary and many more of those letters for you to read." "If you can, deliver them to my room, and I will see what I can do." "Consider it done. Now, let's enjoy the hot water."
An hour later, the water became cold. Alica spoke at a maid that was waiting outside about what Kaylen had asked. The maid left, and Kaylen with Alica went to the backyard. When they were there, Alica spoke. "Sorry for not asking, but how do you feel, and when will you be able to move without using a spell?" "In a week or two. If I eat at least twenty kilos of meat and more milk I will have my strength back."
"Okay, good to know that. But can't you use the spell you used on grandmaster Marian?" "No, the spell forces the bones to create the perfect stem cells for healing, but the nutrients to create the cells come from the host's body. If I wanted to create those cells from pure mana, the grandmaster Marian now could have been dead." "But if I was the one who used a spell like this, would I be able to create the said cells by just using mana?" Alica asked. "Well, I don't know. Maybe. Ask Elora, she probably knows." After that, the said nothing else to each other. Alica went back to reading the book, and Kaylen thought of nothing. When Alica ended with the book, she spoke. "Do you want to learn how to summon a demon?" She asked out of the blue. "That sounds interesting."

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
