《Battlefront》6- round two

He walked out of the cave and as expected there were 4 of them waiting for him. As he walked for half kms away from the cave he realized that they were able to notice him. They were still 2kms away. Yet they still noticed him. He calmly walked back to cave, the moment he got close to the 0.5km point they stopped coming towards him.
So they can only notice me when i am at-least half km away from the cave. Why is that? is this a forbidden area? but i dont see any living beings in the volcano?
He took a near by stone and used it to marked that point. He crossed it and started walking towards his prey.
As he got near them, they tried to do the same thing they did yesterday. One hid behind a huge boulder that is in his path. Two of them climbed the trees that were in between him and the boulder and were ready to jump on him. While last one was trying slowly going in circle to ambush him from his back. He used gift of knowledge on them. Two that were on trees were lvl 7, one hiding behind the boulder lvl 6. While the one trying to attack him from behind lvl 8.
He walked towards them slowly and started gathering mana in his hand, just as he crossed those trees they jumped onto him!
While they were in the mid air he raised his hands created the white hot flame blades and shot them at their throats. Before the two stone gorilla's could dodge , the flame blades went into their throats, in instant their entire neck was burned to ashes and by the time they have fallen to the ground only thing that was holding their heads to their bodies was their charred spines.

All of these happened in less than second. Gorilla that was watching the from behind the boulder got scared stiff and started running way. Before Pragna could move towards it he suddenly ducked down!
A huge arm passed right above his head! if he was even a fraction of second late that strike could have smashed his head to huge concussion or worst case scenario death!
Before stone gorilla could react he rolled near its hind legs and sliced at its heels. It screamed in pain and fell down to the ground as it lost balance. He immediately got into mount position on its back, sliced its throat and slid his hand into that wound and burned its neck with last amount of mana he had. Its entire throat got burned, it is in so much pain that it a last burst of strength it got up on its one good leg while Pragna was on its back while his hand was still stuck in its throat. It caught his and flung him towards the large boulder. It used so much strength that Pragna's shoulder joint got dislocated and when he hit the boulder, boulder got cracked and he bounced of it and fell down few meters away form it. The gorilla tried to run away from him but it fell down and tried to hold its pretty much non-existent throat. After crawling for few meters due to lack of air and due to extreme pain it died after few minutes.
While this was happening Pragna was unconscious for that exact few minutes. He suddenly jolted back to conscious by the pain coming from his shoulder, broken ribs and back and the notifications sound.
Dammit i could have died if i was careless even for a second! If i was not wearing this skin i definitely would have broken my back. They forced me that use that over taxing technique.

He searched for his satchels, it was lying near the boulder. He got up with every ounce of his strength he has and walked up to it. Fruits were completely crushed to a gooey mess. He slurped and ate what he could.
Injuries started healing at pace that was visible to the naked eye. After that the first hing he did was not observe the notifications, But he started dragging the bodies back to the cave. one gorilla escaped. Going by the pattern he is sure that this time there are going to be more than 5, maybe the entire habitat will come to attack him. First he has to reach the safety zone.
And then next important thing on his agenda is to figure out how the hell are they noticing him even from 2kms distance! This is a dense jungle, so they are definitely not using their eyes. He checked their status, they have lowest fire affinity. So no way they have flame resonance skill. May be a lower version of it? but then what about the distance? How are they noticing him from such a long distance?
What ever it is he has to figure it out if he ever wants to get out of this place. He slowly dragged three bodies back to the cave. He got an idea as he saw a small plant, he plucked it and kept in his satchel. He went to the edge of the cave and hurled them down. He did not immediately get down but rather took out the plant and held it his hand and did nothing. Slowly after few seconds the entire plant wilted and withered!
I am right! I am emitting huge amounts radiations! That how there are sensing me. The moment i step out of the cave i must looking to them like a huge ....fire pit!!! wait so when my notification says i am a fire pit it means literally it in flesh and blood! K if i want to survive in this world i need to learn how to control how much radiation i emit.
Pragna also figured it out why none of the creatures are approaching the volcano. These stone gorillas probably have a ability similar to flame resonance that can sense the radiations that are being emitted by everything. If he is looking to them like fire pit, then this volcano must look like a gargantuan inferno! If they even come a little bit close to the volcano it will completely mess up their sense of direction. In this world loosing your sense of direction is same as death sentence.
While thinking this thoughts he climbed down.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Illusory
There was a girl whose feelings changed the world around her, and with every step little smoke clouds emanated from her feet. Her soul pulled right out of her chest like a long, blue comet with a tail, and swirled around her body like a protective blue flame. The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.
