《The horseman, death》Chapter 6

After hearing this I of course thought I might have done something wrong.
Me: Did I do something I shouldn't have?
God: No no. You have been doing a great job.
Me: Really? (Said with doubt)
God: Yes. Do you know what you have been doing?
Me: Well I have been killing people when they shouldn't die i'm guessing. And I also I would touch people who suddenly pop up in front of me on the forehead.
God: Yes well regarding the premature death's. I sent you and the others knowing full well that you guy's would disrupt the natural flow of life and death. But regarding the people that suddenly show up. I'm sure you already guessed but those are people who have died but can't move on to the next life without the touch of death.
Me: Well that's good news I guess but what about this touch of death thing? Shouldn't it happen right when the person dies?
God: You see when the body dies it's actually to prepare the soul for death's touch.
Me: Really?
God: Death is a being that erases the experience's a soul has had in life. So his touch is like a gateway to the next world whether it be to paradise, reincarnation, or eternal suffering.
Me: Huh. Well thanks for telling me a little more about what I am. But what were you going to say about my powers?
God: Ah yes.
Then the book of death appeared floating right in front of me.
God: As I said you 4 will disrupt the flow of life and death so those people popping up might not last much longer.
Me: Why is that?
God: Well as time goes on and if you guys don't do anything stupid that will end in your own death's then everyone that's in this book will not die the way their supposed to.
Me: Okaay soo?
God: So i'm going to modify it a bit and only have the people who need to die in a greater detail appear in it.
Me: Is not being able to die a option?
God: Actually they do have that option. All they have to do is look for the tools needed to make them immortal. Right now their names might not be in the book but thanks to the presence of you 4 that means that the fact that those who would not die might and those who would die might not.
Me: So I just have to stop them from becoming deathless.
God: Yes. Now besides the list of people who have to die I will also give you 2 new powers in your book. First is that you can kill someone by simply writing down their name in the book.

Me: You know that you just gave me something that alone could destroy a whole world.
God: Yes but you can't feel emotions. You do things that only makes it so everything works in your and the other horsemen's favor. So I doubt you will just write names willy-nilly.
Me: Yeah I guess your right. So what's the other thing?
God: Well you see. The people that will be on the list also have other options. Some might not seek immortality but things that can prolong their death even just a little. Which cannot be allowed, their death's have to be like it say's in the book. But this will only last until the end of the war. So to help you achieve this I will allow you to have 5 reaper's.
Me: Reaper's?
God: Being's that serve death. They will have your power's but they cannot kill you and you are the only one who can kill them.
Me: That's quiet helpful. So how do I get these reaper's?
God: Simple. You just write down a person's name in the book and put reaper next to their name.
Me: Sound's a little too simple.
God: Yes but I will put a restriction on it. The book won't kill a god it will only kill mortals. Also those names on the list. You can also use the book on them. Though because that's not the way they needed to die I will have you take responsibility for not following the rules I placed.
Me: Okay. Is their anything else I should know?
God: No but I should return you now. The cloak is about to be taken off.
Me: Huh?
Then like it was all a dream I opened my eye's to see a man's face full of scar's and boil's looking back at me. I was unprepared for having a man's face suddenly so close to mine.
Man: HAHAHA! The sleeping beauty finally woke up.
I looked around. There was 8 men surrounding us. 2 of them were holding cristal and had a knife on her throat. They were wearing leather and fur that looked all bloody and torn up. They also had scars all over their body's and only a few had some hair on their heads. Their weapons had scratches and burn mark's all over them and looked like they would break under a single blow.
However the man in front of me had a weapon that looked far better than the others and it gave off this gray pulsing light.
Man: Don't worry we won't kill ya. We will just take everything ya have and play with yer woman over there.

Me: Really? And why would I allow that?
Man: Why? WHY?! I'LL TELL YOU WHY! I AM YAGGER, FAMOUS ACROSS THE WHOLE KINGDOM FOR MY CRIMES. FROM RAIDING VILLAGE'S TO...
After that he just kept shouting his crimes to my face. My ears started to hurt so I tried to forcefully shut him up. Though I found my hands were tied by some rope. The rope looked like it was made from tiny metal strings. I met some resistance from the rope but with a (SNAP) the rope broke. I looked around to see if anyone heard that. The guy was still yelling his crimes with pride while the others were looking at cristal, who was tied and had a rope in her mouth, with lust in their eye's.
The guy's yelling really started to hurt my ears so I did a quick karate chop type thing to his neck. I only meant to break it but my hand sliced right through his flesh. My hand stopped after it severed his spine and only a little bit of meat was what kept his over turned head from falling off. Blood started squirting everywhere and the other guy's were soon ready for battle. I knelt down and picked up the sword with the pulsing light.
I never cared for swords or knives. They just didn't seem right for me. Gun's didn't fair any better. I never held onto a weapon for long. But when I picked up the sword I felt energy radiating from the sword. A guy with a large ax came charging at me. He swung for my right side but I simply held up the sword and with the sound of clashing metal a ax head could be seen in a tree. Before the guy could react to losing his weapon I quickly stabbed him in the chest.
Though when the weapon touched him a gray liquid suddenly came from the sword. The man screamed for a few second's before dropping dead. A second person tried to sneak up behind me, hoping to strike me in the back, but I simply turned around swinging the sword and cut off his arm's. He to began screaming while the rest all attacked me at once. Two came charging at me ready to swing. One seemed to be aiming for my leg's while the other wanted my head.
I knelt down when they got close. Then I put my strength into my legs and jumped like a dart through the space in the middle of their weapons. As I was in the air I turned using my weight so I would be spinning and when I got between them I gave them both a really nasty cut. When I touched the ground again a giant hammer a little above a sledge hammer came down on my chest. I knocked on the ground with a man that could pass for a giant over me. He was preparing to strike me again only it seemed he was aiming for my head.
I of course wouldn't let that happen and lifted my leg striking the only area that allows a person to be labeled as a man. He fell almost instantly with hands on his junk and a face ravaged by pain. I quickly stabbed him in the heart and ended his life. I looked around for the next attack but there wasn't one. The last two I didn't yet attack were gone and the rest were either dead or rolling around in agony. I noticed cristal was on the ground not to far away and looked fine.
I simply thought the last 2 ran so I decided to end the lives of the one's in pain. When I approached I noticed that the wounds they received were bigger and deeper than they should have been. It was like something was eating the flesh. Before I could give the finale blow some died and the others I quickly stabbed in the chest. I turned and walked towards cristal. I knelt down and broke the rope that was binding her hands and mouth.
Cristal: Geez! That was a awful way to wake up.
Me: Tell me about it.
Then I noticed tracks in the ground leading away from us. My training kicked in.
Me: We should follow them.
Cristal: Why?
Me: Because they might seek revenge or are going to get reinforcements. Either way they will surprise us but if we follow them the element of surprise will be with us.
Cristal: Okay I guess your right. It would be bad if this situation repeated itself. Only then they would be prepared.
I grabbed a weapon holster and strapped it to my back. I put the sword in it thinking i'll hold onto it until I find the weapon that's right for me.

Updates Sunday - Tuesday - Thursday![successful participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Rating: This should align pretty closely with your typical MCU movie, so PG-13 for scenes of fantasy violence. There'll be gore and some swearing but not much beyond that. If that changes, I'll warn you. MC: Shaya is analytical, but begins the story emotional and impulsive. She leans towards rationality and uses this to control her demonic impulses to the best of her abilities. She begins the story as a somewhat capable protagonist, but grows in power steadily through hard work and diligence. Fights: ...I like fight scenes. They’re going to be detailed, but I won’t drown you in description of individual hand movements or footwork. I like fights that can be solved like puzzles by the audience, where creative thinking wins the day using tools you know the protagonist has at their disposal.
