The One Moon Chapter 31
They arrived at the dorms. Minato and Haruto went back into there's and Han and Duri went to Swan boys dorm.
When he opened the door, Eric was standing there.
“Oh, Hi,” said Moonhan.
“This is Duri.”
Duri said Hi shyly.
Eric who was surprised Moonhan brought Duri also said Hi to Duri but with a questioning tone.
“Hi?”
“I decided to reveal him to you guys, he’s my brother.”
Duri who heard this was happy at the sure label that he was family. It made him happy.
“Oh, yes? Right. Is he going to live with us now?”
“That’s what I’m hoping. He won’t be a burden. He’s a mature kid.”
Eric nodded his head. “Yeah, I’m sure the members wouldn’t mind it.” Eric was talking in a more polite manner because there was a younger kid in the house and didn’t want to scare him.
“Hey Duri, let’s get you to bed. I need to talk to Eric real quick.”
Ok, Duri feeling asleep hopped himself onto Han’s bed and closed his eyes.
Han wished him goodnight and walked out.
Han told Eric the situation and how he found Duri and that he’s still not a people person.
“Don’t get too close to him without permission. Oh yeah, tell the other members this too. Could you? I might be busy with Duri and I don’t want to say these kinds of things right in front of his face. Will you? Tell them I'll explain clearer when Duri is asleep or away in another room.”
“Yeh yeah, I know, We should go to sleep now.”
Agreeing, the two went inside their room and went to sleep.
Siwoo who up late and was left alone in the room saw a young kid who looked similar to Han on Han’s bed.

“...”
“Did you turn into a kid?” He said softly.
Rubbed his eyes and walked closer to the kid. He looked similar but it wasn’t Han. His brother? He wondered, but he’s an orphan.
Then, Eric walked in and explained the situation.
“I see, we now have a young bro. That’s fun!”
Siwoo who woke late didn’t get to hear the whole situation from Han who decided to tell the members who were awake in the morning. Which was everyone except Siwoo. Seeing Eric walk in and didn’t come out yet. Haru who was curious walked in.
He turned towards Han’s bed and cooed at the cute kid.
“He is so cute. He looks so young even though he’s 11. Kyaaa”
The other member's reaction to Han’s explanation was surprised, worried, and glad. They were glad he opened up about it, worried for Han who had to take care of Duri, and glad again that he opened up the burden with the others and obviously surprised at how Duri was brought up and how Moonhan story was related to him. They knew Moonhan still had more left to hide. Especially after overhearing about Woongs and Eric’s conversation with Haru about Han’s wounds. Everyone knew about it and decided to stay quiet about revealing that. They knew it could end up hurting Moonhan and decided to treat him just like how they would if they didn’t know. After all, wounds don’t explain a personality.
The One Moon Chapter 32
Sadly, the members had to leave before they got a chance to talk to Duri. They had a schedule to finish for the day and their first performance was today.
At the performance stage, it was a size Moonhan was used to. They were performing in the same room they got evaluated and the people watching were the other contestants. Everytime someone performed, although they were going against each other, they cheered loudly for each other.

At the Swan’s boy’s turn, they went backstage to get ready while the team before them was finishing their stage. They were all pretty nervous.
“Let’s do this,” said Junghwan
Everyone put their arms around each other's shoulders and made a circle and cheered.
“Swan Boy’s, AJA, AJA, AJA!” Junghwan said first then everyone repeated after him like a chant.
They went on stage.
Woong started the dance in the middle. Stretching his hand out like he was trying to catch something. Starting the performance. His facial expressions looked sad and then Eric began the song.
-From just anybody to my love
From fate to lovers
Thought we'd be together forever without any breakup-
Everyone dancing. And after one member to the next Moonhan’s lines came.
-Eventually ended up in this position, coming to this
I'm the one who messed it up
Couldn’t even protect a flower-like you-
After a few more lines, the lyrics which impressed everyone were coming.
-You're moving far away even in my dreams
I can't do anything
Shouting out to try and stop you
But you disappear when I open my eyes
I had to treat you well when you were here
Didn't I know that before
Why is it now that I've lost everything
I learn how precious you were-
Moonhan stabled his singing with practice and although not perfect the emotion in his voice covered it up.
Everyone in the audience froze. Miyu felt his pride fall as he remembered what he said about Moonhan. He proved him wrong.
A final dance with Woong in the middle and the members surrounding him ending the performance.
The audience was silent at first, then applauded loudly and cheered.
The J boys cheered loudly for their newfound friends. No matter how much they also wanted to win, they could recognize that Swan Boys performed the best. They felt a little sad but knew there were more performances to go and other scenes and games and they would try to attract viewers through that. They couldn’t rely on just performance. In this business, everything matters from charm, looks, talent, and personality.
Swan boys being the last performance, the voting started. For this episode, the voting would be by other contestants. They couldn’t vote for their own group and that was one of the rules.
When the voting finished, Miyu went on stage to announce the ranking of the first contest.

Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)

After the End: Serenity
We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way. The content warnings are mostly to give me room to write; this fiction is not intended to be edgy, but once in a while a character will swear or someone will get seriously injured. The cover image is a Chandra/Hubble composite image of VV 340 / Arp 302 / UGC 9618. While we're not going to space itself any time soon in the story, people from elsewhere are coming to Earth and Serenity will visit other planets. Plus, I like space imagery.
