Arrived at the dorms, Han went to Duri and gave his head a pat.
Duri hugged Han Moon’s leg and smiled.
“Did you eat anything yet, Duri?” said Han
“I ate the red bean jelly and chocolate milk you left for me.”
“Oh, is that all?”
“Yeah…”
He whispered into Han’s ears.
Han smiled and patted his head.
The other members were curious as to what Duri was telling him and Haru asked.
“Hey, Duri, could you tell us what you said too?”
“No, it’s a secret. Anyway, Let’s eat dinner.” Duri walked to the fridge and took out a pot. He was struggling so Junghwan who was near him was about to go help but Duri snarled at him like a cat. Duri continued his actions and placed the pot onto the stove and turned on the fire.
“It’s ginger chicken soup. I bought it!” He said happily. It’s a healthy soup, goof for energy for your next practice and recording.”
They thanked Duri.
“Ohhh, Duri. You’re so mature, cooking yourself already. How smart.” said Haru
“I’m just doing what’s normal, right Da.. Han Hyung?”
“Haha, yes it’s normal. Let’s set up the table. I’m starving.”
Han scooped rice for the others and placed them on the table and Duri gave everyone spoons. When the soup got hot, everyone got a bowl of soup and chicken. They then started eating.
“Haaa, that was delicious!” I’m so full” said Woong
They
“Right, the last time I ate this soup was a year ago with my mom,” said Siwoo
“It would’ve tasted better with sweet potatoes,” said Ren
“...” “What sweet potatoes, you hear me Duri, don’t put those potatoes in there okay?”
“Hey!, Why you judging my taste Eric!?”

They bickered back and forth for a while. Then, went to do their own things.
Han held Duri's hands. “I’m going to take a walk with Duri, I’ll come back by 9 p.m. “
Ok, return safely. Junghwan said.
Duri happily skipped forward excited to take a walk with Dalie.
“Hey, Dalie Hyung, where are we going?”
“Hmmm, do you have anywhere you want to go?”
“Hmmm, I know a place. I met this nice guy when I was doing errands.”
“Oh, right! Good job on getting the soup. You did well.”
“Duri smiled, yes yes, something like that is easy.”
“So, who is this guy?”
“He works at the ginger soup restaurant. He helped me when I spilled the soup.”
“Oh, are you okay? Did it burn you?”
“No, no. Someone bumped into me and spilled it. The nice person helped scold him for me.”
“That’s good, he must be a nice guy, huh?”
“Yes, yes Hyung, very. I think you and him would be very good friends!”
As they were talking, they arrived at the Soup restaurant.
Yangyang Soup was the name. They walked in.
Duri searched for the man and ran towards him holding Dalie’s hand.
“Dal hyung, meet Nice Guy hyung.”
“Haha, nice guy Hyung, That must be my name to you.” said the guy
Moonhan looked toward his face.
“Oh, your Zhou Lichen.”
“Nice to meet you, thank you for taking care of my brother Duri.”
“Ahh, Han Moonhan, what a world to meet you here.”
Duri was confused. “Nice Guy, you know Hyung?”
“Little Duri, my name’s Lichen. Call me Lichen Hyung.”
“...” Yes, Lichen Hyung”
Lichen patted his head freely. Moonhan was surprised to see how close the two were.

“Right, have a seat, I’ll serve up some food.”
“No, no we already ate the soup Duri brought earlier.”
“Right, right. He did come quite early to buy some soup, didn’t he.” He messed around Duri’s hair.”
Duri didn’t mind it. He liked Lichen Hyung.
“Then, have a seat. I’ll serve ice cream, my charge.”
Duri was excited so Han couldn’t decline.
The ice cream came and Lichen sat down with them.
“Is this a family business?” Asked Han
“Yeah, our restaurant change is in only 2 places.”
“Yeah, I heard. I know the other place too. I used to live at a goshiwon near that area.”
“Really, you used to live in that old goshiwon. That must’ve been hard.”
“Haha, it was okay. The people working at the restaurant were very nice.”
“Haha, can’t say no to that. My grandparents are mega kind.”
“By the way, is your nickname dal? I heard Duri call you that earlier.”
Han was a little surprised and Duri flinched.
“Umm, did I say something wrong?”
“No your fine, the name is more between us. Duri must’ve accidentally said it aloud.”
“Oh, I see. I can forget if you want.”
“It’s fine since you already know anyway and since little Duri here seems to like you a lot. I’ll tell it to ya too.”
“My very first name is Han Dalhan. It’s basically Moonhan but in Korean. It’s a name I have many harsh and precious memories with so I don’t tell it to everyone. Right now, including the person who gave it to me. You and Duri are the only two who know.”
“I see… I’ll be careful with the name.”
“Yeah, thanks”
“Yes, yes, we’re all family,” Duri said
“Haha, you like Lichen Hyung a lot, huh?” Dal said while chuckling.
“Yeah, he’s Mr. nice guy. I like him, hehe.”
Lichen smilied at the two.
“Oh my, look at the time. I need to go back to the dorms. It was 9.”
“Time passed by so fast,” said Han
“It really does”
Duri and Han got ready to leave.
“Oh Lichen, what dorm number is your group? I live near J boys so I was thinking our dorm rooms shouldn’t be too far from each other.”
“Huh, really. I live on B side of the building, Room 8.”
“That’s not too far, want to walk together? We can wait till you get off work.”
“Really, I’d love to. I wouldn’t be taking your time, would I?”
“Course not, I can call the other members about it and Duri likes the idea too, right?”
“Yep, I’d like to walk with Lichen Hyung too.”
The two waited in the kids cafe opposite the restaurant.

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

They stood at the pinnacle of creation, until mankind fueled by fear and envy banded together and struck them down as the greatest threat to the continued existence of their kingdoms. Peace reigned for many years across the continent, until an accident in the Magocracy of Ken turned one of the most powerful mage lords into a power mad lich. Raising an undead army and creating a cult that worshipped him like a god, he cut a bloody swath across the continent in a bid to create his own domain. A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Who Fixes Books Anyway?
On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors. NOTE: This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.
