The One Moon Chapter 40
Miyu’s hair twinkled in the light. The green hair got brighter. ‘It seems he dyed it again.” Moonhan thought.
Miyu grabbed the microphone and spoke. “Everyone, I hope everyone gets closer to your new members and practice well. But before you guys go plan out your performance, I will inform you guys that there will be voting happening today. Everyone will individually get a recording while your voting. The voting will be a fun one. You guys will be voting on who you guys think is the most handsome trainee, most well-rounded, most charming, most cute, best vocal, best dance, and more will be revealed at the time of voting. Be prepared and think about choices. While you guys are practicing, one by one, each of you will be called out. Ok, everyone. Get to your rooms and practice.” Miyu ended his speech and walked backstage.
Everyone went to their assigned room.
“Ah, Han, I thought you were staying home…”
“Don’t worry Minato, and you to Lichen. I’m fine. Please don’t ask me anymore, haha. I had to answer so many times.” Moonhan said.
“...FINE… Minato was worried but upset that Moonhan was already up and working after a day out from the hospital.
“Look, Minato, We’re on camera now. Okay? Also, the doctor even said I was totally healthy Minato, Don’t worry. He whispered into his ear.”
“Yes, Han. Minato remembered filming was happening.
Kenta went forward. “So, shall we watch how they dance it?” He opened an Ipad and clicked on the choreography video of Close. The dance was quite hard. The song’s dance focused on many trust moves and moves where they had to be close and trust each other to do. There was a dance where one member was on another shoulder’s and the others helped hold on to him. Then, when the beat drops, the member would fall backward and be upside down from the member he was sitting on and another would be there to make sure he wouldn’t fall. They had to make sure that they could smoothly do this part and make it not look like it was unorganized and messy. Being close to one another could lead to them bumping to one another when dancing and falling.

“Wow, can we do this in a week and a half? Worried Minato.”
“We have to practice a lot,” said Lichen
“...” Kenta was just quiet. He was the main dancer. Kenta actually debuted in Japan before coming to Korea. He had more experience.
“...I think I can teach this well,” Kenta said.
“You think you could. That would be awesome,” said Lichen
It was better to have someone who could understand the dance faster so they could teach it and for dancing to start faster. If no one understands the dance and does not get moves memorized at a quicker pace. The practice would start slower since everyone is still trying to get the moves inside their head and keep going to the video for reference and waste their time to practice.
“Kenta, you already have the moves memorized?” asked Moonhan
‘Not all of it, but the beginning is simple enough so I can already teach you guys.” he said.
“!!”
“Great!” Minato said.
They trusted Kenta’s lead and began practicing the dance of the first few verses of the song.
“Put your right hand up in the air, then bring it down to your chin at a 90-degree angle.” Kenta was teaching them
“Like this,” Moonhan asked. He lifted his hand straight into the air, turned his palm facing the left, and lowered his hand to where his chin was.”
“Yes, just like that.”
The other members copied and repeated the move.
“The next part is simple. From your chin, slide your hand under it like the gesture of cutting your neck then move your hand to hold each shoulder that is in front of you. Another person's shoulders.” A close skinship move was already commenced.

While each member was holding another member’s shoulders, a cameraman came in and called for Moonhan.
“Han Moonhan, it’s your turn to vote.” He said.
“Yes, sir." Said short goodbyes to the members and followed the cameramen to the voting room.
When he walked in, cameras with people behind them were seen on one half of the room and another half had photos of every single person, every single individual contestant on the wall.
The cameraman spoke. “Moonhan, who would you say among the contestants from your experience and what you’ve seen at evaluations and the first performance is the best dancer?”
“Hmm, there is a lot of good dancers, but I think Woong is very good, in my opinion. Since he’s a member. I’ve seen him dance up close a lot and always surprised at how concise and smooth his moves are.” He said.
The cameraman pointed to Woong’s picture on the wall and told him to place a sticker behind it to show he voted for him. When he took the picture off the wall, he saw 4 other people who voted for Woong. He wondered what they voted him for and then was suddenly curious what the others would vote for him for if got any.
The next question was who he thought was the best vocal. He chose Hong Jaehyun. Moonhan enjoyed listening to Jaehyun sing, his deep voice was soothing.
Moonhan voted for Park Jonghyuk for most well-rounded. Jonghyuk was very good at both vocal, dance, and his personality was nice in Moonhan’s opinion.
He voted for Minato as most cute. Minato had cute cheeks and a babyface. He also mentioned how he was childhood friends with Minato too.
“Who do I think is most handsome?” From when I saw Lichen, I have to say he’s got the best visuals. His looks are dashing and sharp and also, he looks nice and gentle even though his jaw is sharp.” The cameramen laughed at his explanation.
Other fun questions were asked too.
“Who are you most closed to?” Moonhan said Minato.
“Who is the funniest?” Voted for his own member Haru.
“Who would be the best actor?” He thought for a while but chose Akira. He thought Akira had the best facial expressions so he voted for him.
“The most charming?” Moonhan had trouble. Everyone had a good personality and was charming. He chose Lichen again. Lichen was a good cook and helped Duri so he chose him. Those traits of Lichen were charming to Moonhan.
Then, the last question was who he thought was the best rapper and he chose Kenta. He did contemplate a little on Vincent and Kenta but chose Kenta in the end. He said it was hard to choose between the two and chose Kenta because he was currently his team member. Moonhan’s group was the last to vote. After everyone finished voting, they had another 2 hours to practice. After that, they gathered in the main room again.
