-what happened is anything wrong ?

I quickly replied back to blondie trying to figure out what had her distressed this way her cry of help was something unsettling...soon after blondie started explaining to me what had happened so far and why she was calling me for help...

-I see..

I muttered as i took in the information she had given me...it seems like the people from the colony came and offered these guys some help they didn't look suspicious,but from what i knew these guys were trying to lure them into their base without conflict and since only glasses girl and blondie knew about the "colony" they already figured out these guys malicious intent...on the other hand the others were not so much informed and were eating out of their hands...how troublesome...

-Please...help...

Blondie pleaded once again genuinely feeling scared of what might happen to her for a moment i also connected to her sense's and discovered that they were inside the cave packing some of the fruits into leafs to carry them...glasses girl was next to blondie looking evenly scared and unsettled as her concentrating on the packing while thinking hard about her situation...

What do i do ? I thought thinking through the situation in a more in depth way trying to see the gains and possible loses i could get through this,but while i was doing so i realized that i had a agreement with glasses girl before this...she requested that i would help her if needed and i agreed...mentally at least shaking hands with her was a sign of my agreement...haha glasses girl relied on this specific agreement to save their situation i see...

-everyone prepare to move out...

I ordered immediately stopping everyone from what they were doing as they listened to my words looking at each other...they could feel from my demeanor that i was serious and without skipping a heart beat they all started to prepare for the depart i also started walking outside waiting for the others to come while thinking about the plan on how i was about to go around with this...

The opponent was unknown and thinking reasonably about it they were far too few only 3 people it gave us a advantage in numbers not to disregard about the fact that the female hobgoblins were far more powerful then half of the beasts in this forest...these 3 could evenly be as strong as the past 3 making them very small fries,but was that true ?

I thought i didn't want to lose anyone in this group sacrifice was by no means a option for me thats why i wanted to be sure that i had victory in my grasp even before the fight begun...i have to be careful.

With that finally thought i already noticed that the girls had stepped outside in a line holding their weapons and armor in place standing straight ready for my orders...hoboku,hobusaku and hobura both stepped forward as team captains reporting to me.

-We are ready and prepared

The 3 of them said simultaneously making me quiet pleased about their quick reaction and organized order...i didn't think too much and just gave out my orders...we would arrive at this place in about 10 or 15 minutes with a decent pace the agility team would be able to arrive there in 8 minutes i believe,but running in blindly is not good thats why we are going together...

The rogue team lead by hobusaku will be the front followed by hobura's team and then hoboku's team which is last.My plan was to first spot the enemy to prepare a ambush i would then proceed and put the rogue team onto the rearguards for protection while the warrior team will act as vanguards to protecting the magicians i will pressure them enough to shatter their formation if they put one as to say...

Honestly saying putting so much attention to this was probably overkill,but this could also turn into a pretty good practice for the girls which was always good and like so without a further a due we started moving out with a moderate pace as the commander i was in the center meaning i was behind the warrior team and in front of the magicians team to lead the group and have a proper sense of my surroundings if anything would happen.

-We are about to arrive are you moving already ?

I asked blondie i didn't need her to describe her location since i knew regardless of where it was through the bond.

-yeah we are actually leaving too...

She replied sounding a bit more nervous then previously...i was glad she wasn't using her voice to communicate...with that said i connected to her sense's for a moment and saw that everyone was walking up north...it was where their base was supposed to be wasn't it ?

Suddenly i had a pretty elaborate idea pop up into my head...these people could potentially lead me right into their base without a hitch attacking them now wasn't really gaining me anything and capturing them without killing them was a bit hard so speak i would risk getting someone hurt doing this which i didn't want,but having a jump on their base was a much more pleasing idea if you think about it...

Deciding on what to do i told hobusaku and the rogue team to keep a moderate distance from the other group so we could stalk them more easily losing them was also out of the question since blondie was in the group making her a literal location transmitter in this case and to make matters secure i also severed the contact between her and me...if she somehow starts talking about me and my group out of fear then this could turn into a disaster its better to have her unknown about my intentions a bit mean if you think about it,but necessary for my own people who she wasn't even with the insignia on her hand,i still promised to try rescue them,but i never said how i was going to do it gaining something on the way wasn't forbidden.

I thought like this trying to justify my intentions with the sheer truth of reality...i favored my people more then them even if i had a promise i would break it as long as it meant our survival.

With that done we soon reached the other group tailing them with a 100 meter distance from us i couldn't really see them,but hobusaku could as she had both the and skill which allowed her to see farther away with full detail and sense beings around her without looking at them the skills were fitting to a rogue like her and she had developed them while on the hunt...

The reason we didn't bring the slimes along was simply because they couldn't keep up with us their mobility was bad as was their offensive power they would only get in the way if something broke out thats why i left the slimes at home to defend and now that we were at their tail the only thing we could do was to be patient and careful i still kept on toying with my and to set out a fog screen to hide our presence fog would be unusual in this kind of season or day,but i relied on their stupidity and denseness to ignore the phenomenon of random fog appearing out of nowhere...in the end this was a fantasy world what would they really know about the weather even if they stayed for a year in here...it wouldn't make a difference since no one would be really interested in such thing would they ?

I smiled at my stupid thoughts continuing to walk a calm and slow walk while tailing them...on the walk blondie had more then once tried to contact me,but i ignored her instead she probably didn't notice that were actually tailing which was good on its own i guess...after a few tries blondie stopped attempting and quieted down altogether walking beside glasses girl nervous i hope she doesn't spill the beans before they arrive with her demeanor.

And concerning the others in their group they were still in a merry go lucky state talking with the enemy as if they were long lost friends not anticipating in what they were about to walk into...truly idiotic common sense or paranoia would at least warn people from what they were about to commit into,but pure fools wouldn't understand this...

-ehh lord sorron..

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts as i felt someone pulling me from behind gently...confused i turned around and saw hoboku who was making a slight worried expression while looking at me...

-what is it ?

We had time and talking with someone right now was fitting enough as everyone still chose to be quiet though.

-Was it really necessary for you to go out with us its not like you aren't able to command us from home and being with us would set you in danger...

Hoboku said a bit nervous herself...the others who were listening into the conversation seemed to have the exact same thought nodded their heads to hoboku's words...

I made a small smile thankful for their consideration,but also a bit hurt by their thought as i replied to her.

-There is no meaning for me to be your commander if i can't lead you properly strength is good on its own,but you need a clear path to channel it to reach something and either way i am not a incompetent person hoboku i can take care of myself i am not a puppy that needs your protection all the time even thought i rely on you a lot doesn't mean that i am weak...

Hoboku shook a bit from the inside she probably understood how i felt currently even thought she didn't openly call me weak she really did act a way that showed me as a weakling which i was not.

-I..i am sorry i didn't mean to...

-its alright i am not offended by that no i am flattered and pleased that you feel protective about me so its alright don't bother saying anything since you didn't do anything wrong...

Hearing me say this she still wanted to continue,but stopped herself and nodded to me having said enough she returned to her group still keeping a sharp eye on me her hands ready to shoot out a spell of hers that would annihilate any person that would dare to bring me harm her thoughts were calm and fluid like everyone else in this group.

Getting back on track we continued to follow the group towards the colony,i measured the remaining time we had today and thinking about it straight we had only 3 to 4 hours until the sun would go down entirely and shade the forest in pure darkness in this time span i could either go back now and try tomorrow or go now and dominate their camp in night fall...dominating sounds better doesn't it ?

With those thoughts we walked for about 1 hour until we reached their camp which was located inside a very big open cave we had taken quiet a lot of detours while on the walk the 3 guys who were leading even checked their surroundings to be sure nothing was wrong...since we were very far away they couldn't have possibly spotted us which was true as they didn't show any suspicion and just continued to walk into their base unknown of what was following their backs...
