I stepped back walking towards the others,with the fight over in a time of mere seconds i was concerned about their well being,i doubted that anyone had any serious or minor injuries,but checking never hurt anyone did it,but as soon as i turned around and started walking i noticed a girl sitting on the ground crying she was tainted by some of the blood that came from the corpses next to her the female hobgoblins saw that girl,but ignored her and instead started to looting the bodies and stacking them on a pile to get rid of later i looked at the female hobgoblins momentarily and used my transmission link to ask everyone if they were okey or not everyone answered to me and as predicted no one got actually hurt we had the perfect jump on them making the blood on our clothing the most loss we had gained so far...

-Hic...hic..ah ah...hic...

I once again looked towards the girl on the ground trying to figure out who it was it only hit me a second later for me to realize that she was blondie in fact....her blond long hair was dyed red from the blood and she was dirty all over her body it has also been a while since i had seen her actual face thats why i didn't recognize her at first,but because of the bond we had the connection was obvious to me.

-hic...hic...uwahh...hic..

Blondie was still crying holding her eyes shut while forming into a ball she was scared,sad and unhappy about what had happened she didn't seem to even understand what had happened over the past few seconds and only indulged in her own despair for it to be over...pathetic.

I thought disdainfully making my way towards blondie with heavy steps following suit the others also saw my approach and looked at me curiously blondies group was staring at me too the 2 girls were hugging each other stained with their own tears shaking of what might happen now the guys were also obediently sitting on the ground taking small glances towards their beaten up friend while looking around not sure what to do,but to stay quiet and wait fate to kick in.

Pathetic...pussies...cowards....

I thought hatefully as i finally stood in front of blondie my figure showing my cool presence as the air around me turned into something like a pseudo mist surrounding me...my eyes were fixated on the crying blondie she didn't stop wailing and cowering she needed a wake up call.

(Slap)

My hand moved swiftly and without pause as my palm hit blondies cheek violently...slapping blondie directly onto the face she fell down to the right with her eyes open her wailing had also stopped as she held her stinging left cheek with her hand...because my strength was only a mere 10 made the pain probably lighter then normal in comparison to the female hobgoblins this kinds of attack wouldn't even itch them,but for blondie who was still LvL.1 with low stats the pain was probably very stingy.

Finally after a few seconds blondie realized that something was wrong she couldn't hear anything in her surroundings and because of her tears her vision was blurry making her wipe them quickly as she looked around noticing all of the blood and pieces of flesh lying around she also looked at herself and realized that she was tainted by the blood too her hair partially dyed with a crimson color smelling iron like there were also new people in this place which were the female hobgoblins and myself which she only noticed when she saw my shadow...

Frightened by it blondie slowly started to raise her head up towards me meeting my cold blue eyes and shivered as if she had experienced a cold storm welling inside of her,but still courages she continued to look into my eyes her heart probably beating the fastest she could have ever imagined..

-Stand up and stop whining blondie you and i need to go and heal the wounded since you are the only person with a healing spell i need to somewhat rely on you so make it easy for both of us and get your sorry ass over here or do you want me to do for you instead ?!

Hearing my surprisingly chilling voice blondie was immediately frightened by it her hair was standing up and i could feel that she wanted to cry another round,but she didn't she knew that if she started to do it again she would taste the back of my hand twice getting the painful sting on her cheek so thats why blondie stood up she was shivering uncontrollable never was she so frightened in her life then now literally on the edge of insanity and despair she had tasted both of these sides just now and i could see she didn't want to go in neither of them once again as followed my back not saying anything..she knew who i was she could feel the bond between us,but didn't say anything and just followed me.

The female hobgoblins seeing this didn't lash out a second eye and continued to work looting mainly getting all the items in this cave and putting them at one spot for me later to collect.While they were at it i ordered 4 of the female hobgoblins to start collecting the wounded and ill at one place for me and blondie to work on,the uninjured people would go to another area and wait for the moment being,for this specifically i made hoboku lead this task with 3 others.

-Hey you wait what are you doing ?

Suddenly while i was talking with hoboku glasses girl reappeared approaching me she had a very hostile tone when she said that angering some of the female hobgoblins present as they held onto their weapons about to draw...glasses girl also realized what was happening and stopped her approach a bit pale.

-Enough get back to your work i deal with this...hoboku tell me if you finish gathering the injured alright..?

With those words alone i calmed everyone and made them go back to their work hoboku also stopped her spell and nodded to me leading the 3 others to gather the injured while i proceeded to deal with glasses girl who was slightly surprised for some reason...oh right i was using my skill my speech was probably very weird to her huh...

As everyone got back to their respective work both me and glasses girl stared at each other,she was perplexed so to say unsure of what to do,but still anger flashed in her eyes as she growled at me.

-You used us a bait...

She said disdainfully in which i replied with a laugh.

-Yes,i did and you know what ? i am not sorry for doing that remember that i only agreed to have rescue you i never said when or how that was going to be its your fault for being so overly reliant on me !

-grrrr

Glasses girl growled and with both of us stared into each others eyes once again...my justification may have been shameless,but it was also the truth which i wanted to show her,we kept this stare for pretty much a minute until glasses girl looked away defeated.I only smiled and nodded my head.

-I think this is enough sorry,but i need to borrow blondie over here and tend to the wounded until then lets have this talk another time you should also help find the injured and gather them where these 4 are putting them

I pointed towards hoboku and the other 3 while i said that...glasses girl looked thoughtful for a moment she took the chance to glance at blondie at my back and realized that blondie had a somewhat distressed look on her face,but at the same time she was determined and serious which made glasses girl momentarily baffled as she probably never saw blondie like this since they met...

After a few seconds glasses girl just nodded her head and walked towards hobokus group who were carrying the girls next to the throne carefully placing them on the ground...hoboku had already laid out a couple pelts for the girls to lie onto and was taking care of it with utmost delicacy as she could see the severe injuries some of them had...

-Lets go no need to stand any further...

I reminded blondie snapping her out of her thoughts as i walked towards the guy on the ground who was beaten up by stevens men severely...healing the one's who were in the most critical situation was currently my priority.

-ahh ! gary...

Blondie exclaimed in terror looking at this guy...so this is the guy glasses girl had a dispute with huh..

I knelt down momentarily and pushed him onto his back gently to see how bad his injuries were...from what i know he was kicked brutally onto the stomach and other places like his crotch which was bloody all over giving me slight shivers...

Blondie who was standing behind me was scared once again worried too not able to do anything,but stand for the moment while i analyzed this guy which took 8 or 10 minutes.

His injuries were heavy so to say at least he had some minor concussion and multiple bruises and swellings on his body which came from the blunt force from the kicks and i could also determine that he had some moderate internal bleeding which came from the way he spewed up blood from his mouth...

Honestly saying i am not a doctor so i don't know how to properly help him i have some herbs that could heal him over time blondie could even heal this guy right which seemed the most effective...

With that thought i told blondie to use her heal to nurse gary...she was panicked,but quickly obligated and started her spell with a simple word which was "Heal" when she cast the spell i could see bright light envelope the guy and his facial expression was also calming down a little returning to a slightly more healthier color then his deathly pale...the procedure took a total of 3 seconds to finish which was a miracle in my worlds medical research magic can be this unfair sometimes...i thought as i looked at him analyzing him again to see what had changed...

His injuries were now almost gone with exceptions of small bruises that were once heavy physical traumas he was also breathing a bit more steadily his hot head going down he also stopped spewing up blood from his mouth which was good,but not really assuring since he had already lost a lot of blood to begin with..

-hmm

From this i could deduce that her healing spell was able to heal a set amount of injuries since it didn't heal him completely his internal bleeding seemed also pretty stable,but not fully complete i could tell because he still had that pained expression on his face...

The reason i was actually taking so long to heal one person was because i wanted to have a better understanding for blondies healing spell having this guy acting as a guinea pig may be a bit barbaric,but it is a sacrifice i am willing to take since his rate of survival was less then 50% percent because of the amount of blood he lost already...and just to give him some more hope i let blondie heal this guy a second time to make him stabilize a bit more...

Blondie finished quickly and for some reason she was a bit tired using her second heal i wondered why this was the case until i remembered how people react to mana depletion.

It was mana burn that was making her tired since she was using her mana which was almost equivalent to her vitality,it couldn't be helped that she got tired...

-here eat this after you get tired we have a long day so get used to that feeling since we have much more patients in here..

I said while handing her the mana restoration herbs she took them obviously and nodded to me eating one while she was at it and making a really bitter expression because of the taste,but soon enough blondie got better.

She said to me feeling truly thankful about this.

-I don't you are going to be thankful after this...

I said with a laugh she was confused for a moment not sure what i meant by that,but then she understood what i meant by that after seeing the count of injured people here.
