After seeing the notification box I couldn't do anything else,but crack up a smile,I also stopped patting hakuro because I wanted to start experimenting with the new spell I got,I want to know how different it was from condensing frozen balls of ice through and .

Hakuro seemed immediately displeased the moment I stopped patting her head,but she understood that I had other things to do and having me pat her all day because of her selfish desire wasn't accomplishing those things,seeing her disappointed expression I felt bad for giving her some false hope thats why I figured that after this I would try to make her feel a bit better..maybe a present or something pretty good to eat,maybe a dessert,thats something I hadn't done in quite some while since I only had been cooking soups and roasts I wonder if my cooking skills in that particular area had become rusty...I don't wanna be a meat baron...

Thinking like this I stood up from the ground and started to think about the newly acquired spell I had it was I remember this spell from the beginner spell selection I didn't chose it because I believed that It had no use to me whatsoever and at the time seemed just more appealing and useful then this spell,but now I felt delighted that I could learn these spells so without a second pause I invoked the spell without words and like so immediately a ball of concentrated water appeared above my palm.

The way to use this spell seemed to be very simple the moment I invoke it the spell would appear above my palm I could chose to shot it or keep it there,but that was only for a limited time which was 5 minutes this mechanic was convenient since it gave me the option to stop midway if I thought it was right it was like a safety lock for a gun to be precise.

Anyways the ball was still a projectile and I hope it to be something different then .On the topic I also made another water ball through and compared both of these just to see if they were anything different and through my research I discovered that yes,both of these were indeed different,the water ball made through the spell seemed to be more concentrated and rounder then the one made through I tried to replicate it through the spell,but couldn't do so for some reason...

Getting back to the main point I shot out the and watched as the ball flew 30 or 45 meters or so until it dropped down onto the ground the speed was very astounding because it was 12 or 15 meters per second it took a total amount of 3 and a half seconds for the water ball to reach 30 or so meters and then immediately falling down onto the ground if it doesn't hit something...compared to the speed of this was two times faster and had an immediate reaction speed meaning that I didn't need to imagine the ball before I shot it out I could just invoke the spell and point my palm towards my target and shot...pretty convenient,but also still useless...kinda.

Since I had a basic understanding for this spell I also tried to experiment with it and tried to Combine it with to see if I could make it into a frozen ball and then shot it out...the result for this was...a failure..

For some reason whenever I tried to freeze the spell I would always immediately lose control of it and make the frozen ball that was hovering above my hand to fall down onto the ground...from this I could assume that external force would disrupt my spell casting be it my opponent or myself the spell works in a specific order and if I suddenly freeze it then the order also gets disrupted making the spell fail on itself...

This kind of knowledge was good to know and since external force doesn't work how about internal ?

The experiment I tried to do was to cool down the water inside the spell and make it reach a temperature lower then -0 celsius,the goal I was trying to reach in this experiment was to see if the spell would let me add something from the inside...which also didn't work.

I discovered that while freezing the water ball for a few seconds I would still have some amount of control over it,but when it got to a certain temperature I would immediately lose control over it and fail the spell meaning that either internal nor external force couldn't be used to enhance the spell without disrupting its pattern.

Gaining this knowledge I was pretty bummed out about the spell since I couldn't add anything into it even if I shot it and freeze it then the spell would disrupt and fall down immediately losing all of its velocity and speed behind it.

The spell on itself couldn't kill anyone really maybe confuse them for a few seconds because of the force of the water ball,but it wasn't lethal making it almost useless...the spell still had some utility with my and what I was trying to say was that I could shot this water ball towards someone and hit them in a matter of 3 seconds in a 30 or 45 meter radius and make them wet,this on itself wasn't really useful other then piss off someone,but combined with my and I could immediately fixated on the water that was splashed all over the person and use it to my advantage such as freezing it or drowning the person into it.

Now,you may as why would I even want to do that ? Can't I make water appear whenever I want in a 50 radius that is much bigger then the spell why would I want to cut down my radius and risk the chance to miss my target even if I had the chance to just make water appear in my sight ?

It was pretty good argument,but as the name stands only controls water,it doesn't make it appear out of thin air...actually it does do that,but the time for it to condense into true water takes more then simply casting the and make water appear and then wet my opponent with it.

Previously I had only killed steven using my and combo at the time both of us were at least in a distance of 10 meters away from each other the time it took me to condense the water to make those spikes was roughly 3 or 4 seconds there was also another reason why I even dared to come that close,it was because it would lighten my control over the water by closing the distance between us.

In short the farther something is away,it takes me longer to condense water in that particular area there is also the problem of drawing water from somewhere,I can draw it from greenery and air,but if I get cut from either of these sources then I am left to dry...pretty literally even.

Thats why this spell is pretty useful to me since it immediately creates water out of nowhere I can use it to aim at my opponent shot him and then do the rest with either my or making my efficiency in fighting and reaction speed increase by 2 times...that is if I hit the spell properly of course...Now that I am thinking about it...I am a pretty bad shot ain't ?

This kind of realization only just now dawned on me...If I am not able to hit someone from 20 or 30 meters away...then this spell is literally useless to me isn't it ?

Unconsciously I started to sweat about the problem the only way for me to improve was to learn how to shot properly I even had the skill which would be able to help me,but I wasn't sure I would be able to hit something from 20 or 30 meters away...seems like I need to practice...but just simply shooting a wall and trying to hit the mark was unsatisfying...I needed experience in moving objects...moving people.

Thinking like this a light bulb shined inside my brain...I looked at hakuro for a second she was still sitting on the field a few meters away her eyes were closed,she sat in a crossed leg position trying to draw her circle on the ground with her other hand...

I lightly steppe forward and as I did so I could feel myself smiling idiotically when I finally reached hakuro I sat right in front of her and waited until she finally made the sound I hoped for.

-Grrr...

It didn't take long and hakuro immediately growled out of frustration she couldn't complete the circle once again and was forced out of her thoughts when she finally opened her eyes she saw me and made a blank expression for a few seconds until she realized that I really was in fact sitting in front of her.

This sudden revelation had her jump for a moment,but she calmed down and sighed looking at me a bit grumpy,but also a bit glad she probably thought that I did it on purpose,but she didn't say it since she still seemed to like it nonetheless.

She asked wondering why I was sitting in front of her doing nothing she smiled while she said that in which it made me smile too,but for a complete different reason.

I said trying to sound as if I was slightly distressed the tone worked as she quickly jumped on the topic getting further closer to me with a crawling pose I could see her cleavage right in front of showing me her bountiful breasts which were pretty busty like most of the girls...

The display made me slightly distracted,but also very conscious of her as I looked away quickly explaining to her...she probably didn't catch what I was staring at which was good.

Hearing me say this her eyes got wide on the spot as she pressed on now a little bit closer to me out of excitement she said with a tone of cheerfulness and eager desire.

Her answer was immediate just as I expected,but my way of doing this was something she probably wouldn't agree so easily to,with that said I smiled and told her.

The moment I said that Hakuro froze in her tracks getting slightly discouraged she made herself small again not sure what to do she seemed to be very unwilling about this not because she feared herself from getting hurt no she feared that she would hurt me which didn't want to happen if I didn't start the conversation like I did before and just told her straight away I was sure she would reject it straight away...

-uhh ?...uhm lord sorron...is this really alright ? can't we do it in a different way ?

She tried to change the topic,but I was also unwilling and this time I added something she probably couldn't resist.

Hakuro contemplated very heavily...she was very very conflicted at the moment and didn't know what to do at one point she wanted me to be safe and not hurt and at the other point she was very greedy about the request and what she could possibly do with it,in the end she was gritting her teeth and asked one single question.

-Do we really need to hurt each other ?

Hearing her say that I laughed and said to her.

-No,we don't we won't get injuries through this I guarantee you..

She happily hugging me from the front...this way I was pretty much hitting 2 birds with one stone I could train hakuro faster and start training my aim better too.
