The cooking proceeded pretty quickly the girls worked well cleaning and dicing the vegetables on the table.

The female hobgoblins I brought along also butchered the beasts we had brought along for skins and meat they severed the parts skillfully having a basic understand on how this worked after learning from the captains.

In the end the ingredients were put together and I also started to take care of the soup I wasn't going to make any roast for the female hobgoblins,hearing my intention the female hobgoblins were a bit down,but I told them that I would give them better food later on which seemed to be enough for the girls to cheer up again.

I was concentrated on the soup the whole time other then blondie,glasses girl and louis no one really came outside,but rather peeked from the entrance of the cave nervously I could see a lot of those girls drooling while looking at the food that I was making which gave me an idea on how to break the ice.

In the meanwhile glasses girl continued to ask me a few questions she was now mainly interested about the skill system something that even I wasn't completely sure of,but had some basic knowledge of the other two girls didn't seem to understand what we were talking about only that it was important.

-So...you can learn magic yourself,but only if you have aptitude for it am I correct ?

Glasses girl asked very curious in which I nodded my head stirring the soup while doing so I answered her.

-thats correct,but the kind of magic you will learn seems to be random or more like its a element that you are the closest with sometimes it isn't even an element,but a force or a movement an unbound element should I say..

-I see

Glasses girl acknowledged she pondered about the topic very hard until I spoke summoning a few wooden bowls .

-Breakfast is ready..

Hearing me say this the 3 made a very delighted expression quickly stepping forward and getting their own bowls to eat the soup I also got my ladle ready to serve them a portion,before glasses girl filled her bowl she had a small train of thought running through her eyes she quickly filled it up and wanted to walk towards the cave,but I stopped her mid way making her almost drop bowl with the hot soup...

-What are you doing ?!

She asked a bit agitated by my sudden question in which I replied with an even manner.

-Thats the same question I want to know actually,sit down and eat if they want a bowl they can come and get it themselves...

Glasses girl flinched momentarily hearing my edgy tone she didn't argue and stepped back holding her bowl,she looked at the girls inside the cave one last moment until she heaved a sigh getting back and starting to eat her own fill with delighted squeals on her own.

The other 2 already started eating the female hobgoblins were still waiting for me to fill up their bowls they didn't think of serving themselves since they were usual like this being served by me and honestly I prefer that.

After I filled up everyones bowl I sat down onto the ground on my own I wasn't hungry and just pulled out my book I decided to learn the very last spell inside the book since I thought that the last spell would be the more powerful one.

From a distance you could see the girls that were hiding inside the gave peeking and making sour expression while staring at the hot pot of steaming sweetness,it seemed so close,but it was so far for these girls.

I sometimes peeked over to their side,but only for a few seconds the other 3 girls also glanced back a few times,but didn't go over and just continued eating their fill slow and steady to keep the taste in their mouth.

After half an hour someone finally got the guts to walk out of the cave to my surprise it was a really short girl with long brown hair to be fair she still seemed to be very nervous while walking at our general direction her eyes were looking down and her hands were fidgeting all over the place her clothing wasn't much either a bit ripped here and there,but good enough in this kind of situation I judged.

I only glanced at her for a single moment until I looked back at the book trying to memorize the magic circle finally after 20 minutes she got over here blondie,glasses girl and louis seemed very glad that she came over here to eat something blondie even stood up and carried her own bowl towards the pot to fill and give to the girl,but the problem was the ladle wasn't here anymore..I had it.

blondie was troubled obviously she knew that I had the ladle so she immediately came next to me wanted to ask me,about it,but cut into her words instead and said.

-If your friend wants a bowl then go tell her that she can ask for it herself its my pot my bowl and my ladle asking doesn't hurt does it ?

I said giving the short girl a sidelong glance this action made her panic immediately she jumped a back a few steps a bit shaking.

Blondie hearing my words made a very awkward smile she wanted to start arguing with me about the matter,but was stopped by glasses girl as she shook her head towards blondie.

Blondie sighed she was troubled and didn't know what to do,but in the end she decided to follow the words of her friend more so her leader making both of them sit down again they were still a bit hungry I noticed,but they didn't dare to take another bowl before the short girl could get her own bowl.

Finishing I brought my attention back to the book the short girl in the mean time was fidgeting and not sure what to do louis and blondie tried to encourage the girl to come over and ask me for a bowl the girl in question wasn't sure about it she seemed to be very intimidated by me which was understandable since I probably had a very cold expression on my face not friendly,but not hostile either it was my normal face when I was thinking nothing too extraordinary and most people would probably understand that,but for the girl it was different she was simply scared of me.

Like so another hour and a half past the soup was still boiling and I was about to finish memorizing the magic circle really interested on what it might be until.

-He...he...ehyy...I mean..hallo ..hello ?

Hearing the voice made my concentration break for a moment as I closed it and looked up to see who it was...the moment I raised my head my eyes met with the face of the short girl seeing my cold blue eyes made her shiver very quickly,but she didn't run away or anything and just stood there as if nailed to the ground trying to form words in her mumble I waited until she was ready to say something meaningful.

-Can...can I have a...a bowl of soup please

-Took you long enough to say that don't you think ?

I asked giving her a small gentle smile from my lips my sudden change of expression visibly surprised the short girl a lot it almost petrified her,but she stood still now a bit more calmer when I showed her a simple smile her cracking voice was also calming down and her teary expression was going away too.

I stood up and started to walk towards the pot in a indifferent manner raising my palm I summoned the ladle and another wooden bowl and filled it up with hot soup handing it over towards the short girl who accepted it with her trembling hands she avoided touching me as best as she could quickly taking the soup with the spoon in hand slowly making her way towards the other 3 to start eating a bit eagerly.

-You can have second if you want just ask me alright ?

The short girl stopped for a moment turning her head around she looked at me now in a slight different light she nodded her head.

-Yes ! thank you !

With that said she sat down next to her new friends and started eating the soup happily the others were also very delighted by the progress she had made not a lot to be honest,but good enough for a girl her size and age..from what I could judge she seemed to be 14 to 15 years old pretty young.

Now back to my book I glanced towards the cave for a moment,the girls inside of the cave were still pretty distrusting,but after seeing one of them getting a bowl of soup made them a bit envious and hungry after the short girl received the bowl of soup another pair of girls approached it took half an hour until they asked me to give them a bowl,of course I gave it to them and after them came another 3 and then 4 and at the end everyone came asking me a bowl even the guys from the cave finally got out they all had a pretty fearful and stressed expression on their faces seeing me made them slightly surprised even more so the girls were accepting the bowls from me with minimum problems at that.

Like this 4 hours of the day was wasted on breakfast I was also a bit frustrated because the moment I thought I memorized the magic circle made me also realize that I did something wrong making me start all over again with my own displeasure hanging up my neck..

The breakfast conversation wasn't anything to talk about everyone just ate as if they were in a all you can eat buffet I rarely gave my attention towards them and just concentrated on the magic circle trying to memorize the lines and shapes even if they talked I wouldn't have heard it.

On the other hand the girls asked for refills a lot of times that I stopped counting already saying the phrase "refill please" or " can I have second" was already comfortable with the girl it seems I also didn't say anything and just refilled the bowl.

After a while the pot finally turned empty looking at everyone I saw that a few of the girls were sitting on the ground holding their big stomachs and wailing slightly all of them were had eaten so much that they were full from within truly reckless,but I got used to it since the female hobgoblins almost always do the same thing.

With the bowl empty I also looked at the sun and realized that half of the day was already spend it was probably 10 or 12 o'clock right now,hoboku and the other should be preparing for their hunt after training..

I closed the book with a small sigh and stood up from my position my sudden movement caught everyones attention as they watched me curious.

I quickly came forward and took the pot into my storage this on itself made a lot of questions which glasses girl couldn't explain nor I was going to explain in the first place louis even shouted out that I was a "fairy" or a "Santa" to the other girls making a lot of them laugh because of the ridiculous claim the sound of laughing was refreshing it also showed that they were truly making progress now.

-Ehm...where are you going ?

Glasses girl asked she quickly tagged along when she saw me move very curious about what I was going to do next behind me stood the female hobgoblins their expression was the same which was calm they stayed with me all day and it didn't seem like they were bored or anything which was a bit astound since if I was them I would be bored out of my mind their endurance was commendable or simply put their pervertedness...

Listening to glasses girl I gave her simple reply and said.

-A bath obviously..

My answer immediately pulled a lot of attention out of glasses girl as she insisted on coming along with me.

The others were still sitting next to the campfire most of them would glance at me and glasses girl a few times until staring back towards the flames of the now ceasing campfire.

Following me glasses girl was very curious on how I was supposed to make a bath she had a few ideas such as using the pot itself to bath in,but I disagreed and just showed her what I could do else with my magic which was obviously astounded glasses girl when she saw the whirling flakes of snow surround me and at the next moment the snow concentrated and drilled a second entranced into the mountain next to the main cave the sound was fizzling as I continued working at that point glasses girl also stopped following me and waited until I was done,after half an hour I finished with my work my body was very dirty from the dust alone,walking outside I realized that there were much more spectators then before.

-Did you finish ?

Glasses girl asked not sure what I really did,but asking anyways.

I said stepped aside and summoning water to clean myself properly from all the dust that had gathered my body.

My answer confused glasses girl and the others,but she entered the new room anyways and discovered the it was path leading to 2 different rooms one for males the other for female the rooms were half the size of the bath in my base they were also separated through individual rooms and paths when glasses girl got inside she realized that the dark room was emitting steam she couldn't quiet see a lot inside since she didn't have the night vision skill like I did,but the glowing red slime inside was light enough to make out what was inside which shocked and surprised glasses girl since she realized that there was a giant tub inside the room filled with steaming hot water that the fire slime was heating up,the other room was the same.

Glasses girl came out very impressed the girls asked what was inside which she also replied with...
