The females in this group hearing glasses girls answer quickly ran into the newly made room and after a few minutes you could hear the sound of splashing coming from inside it was followed by delighted shrieks and other voices...

Glasses girl also heard that sound and couldn't help but shake her head face palming to herself after finishing she came forward to me in a serious manner and without a word she bowed her head to me blondie and louis seemed to be kinda amazed,but I didn't say anything and just nodded to her taking my leave towards the campfire and continue memorizing the book,but as I was making my way towards it a guy jumped in front of me...

-Grrr

The girls to my side growled by the sudden interruption I quickly raised my palm to make them stop and appraised the guy in front of me a bit more...its that gary guy I believe he is alive,but from his facial expression I can tell that he is still recovering.

-What do you want ?

I came straight to the point looking at his pale face I didn't want to stay and make any idle talk with him he may as well collapse at any moment.

Gary hearing my sudden question was startled he quickly tried to find eye with me straightening his back he requested honestly almost pleading even.

-Can...please can you take me with me ? I...I do everything you want,but in return can I be a part of your group instead ?

The 3 female hobgoblins looked at me...they didn't know what this guy just said they only waited for my reply which was taking a while no,not really my answer was obviously no,its not because he is a guy its because of his character and demeanor I see in his eyes.

He was probably not comfortable being here since most of the girls handled the guys with a silver edge maybe only ignoring them at first,but sometimes even showing them a murderous eye once or twice.He was panicked that was for sure,panicked people tend to do any decision to bring themselves out of their situation,but taking him along with me wouldn't solve anything since in my camp he would be treated by the girls even more poorly then now he doesn't understand the scope of danger in his surroundings even now the girls by my side are looking at him with outright hostility and distrust...

I said bluntly my answer seemed to have shaken this guy,I stepped to the side and was about to leave him seeing me go gary wanted to say another thing,but hasumi raised her palm and as she did gary hit a invisible wall blocking him from approaching us anymore hasumi and the other 2 gave gary one last death stare to keep him away in my opinion doing something like that wasn't necessary,but it should make him understand on a basic level with who he wanted to come with.

Seeing the invisible wall appear made me a bit impressed,I knew what it was a simple force wall created by hasumi's first spell when I saw the spell at first I believed it to be something like ,but later on I discovered that it wasn't the case since hasumi could create invisible matter through this spell I could only call it"Pure Force" she is creating through the spell itself I saw her create multiple invisible blades to cut her enemies down with it and also prisons to crush them inside the ability was scary to be honest since you couldn't see the attack from the beginning,but it also had its weak points such as being able to predict it through the wind or sound even the ground may indicate something about the spell being used if she creates a box around you pressing the ground even though there isn't anything on it.

Back to the present...

In the end gary stopped trying and just left running towards the cave seeing him depart like this made me sigh for a moment,it wasn't his fault or anything like that.

I looked at hasumi for a moment I nodded towards her to express my thanks she took it and smiled at me blooming.I patted her head for an extra thanks the other 2 were envious and a bit left out even thought they helped too so I also gave them a patting and continued forward sitting down next to the campfire and memorizing the spell circle.

For a moment I thought back about gary's plea it was rational for him to want to join a more powerful group out of all people he seemed to be the most optimistic to go with stevens people at the beginning with not a single suspicion at that too which brought him some heavy pain as a result judging from that I can see that he is easily influenced which really don't,but over all if I had met him in a different kind of scenario then maybe I would have gotten along with him pretty well.

Yeah...guy friends that would be something right...

The girls probably felt the small pain inside of me hasumi even came up next to me asking me what was the matter,he question wasn't anything unexpected it was sweet and made me impulsively take her and push her onto my lap so I could take care of her my sudden action surprised the 3 a lot,but they didn't do anything and just waited hasumi was also positioned with her chest on my lap making me stroke her back while I continued reading the book,it seemed like she wanted to say something,but when I started stroking her "that something" was out of her head replaced with her comforted purr while I stroke her.

The other 2 were now really depressed it seemed as if I only took care of hasumi and not the others thats why I called them over and told them to come and hug onto me if they wanted to,of course my offer was accepted immediately now ending up in this kind of situation where left,right and front were occupied by the female hobgoblins who were enjoying themselves with me as a grinding pillow and back massage...

I didn't mind...it wasn't troublesome nor was it annoying on the other hand I felt my small pain go away they female hobgoblins were also very happy which was enough for me right now.

Time went on in a blink of an eye the female hobgoblins kept at it for about 2 hours without stopping or feeling bored hasumi even fell asleep by my constant rubs and strokes I was giving her the other 2 were now just hugging me from either side leaning onto my back with a heavenly expression on their faces and flush cheeks,if I had to compare these guys to animals then it would be definitely cats...

I yelled out loud with a trace of joy going through my lips and glinting eyes.

With my shout I also woke up the other 3 from their state of daze seeing them startled like this made me laugh a lot.

-Your finally back huh...

Glasses girl said seeing her appear out of nowhere had me surprised which she picked up on and explained herself.

It seems like I lost myself when I was studying glasses girl and other females already left the bath an hour ago when they got out they saw me interwoven with the female hobgoblins and weren't sure if they should interrupt or not so they left us alone pretty much,hearing her explanation was surprising it made me look around for a moment and as I did I noticed that everyone was looking at me with a surprised expression probably because I shouted like an idiot looking at me I could see that some of their gazes held a small light of confusion which was unknown to me I didn't think of it as much and just stood up from my seat hasumi lost her stop which made her a bit sad of course she didn't want to show it to me,but overall I was too excited right now getting a new spell and being able to experiment with it was addicting.

-ehm...mister sorron..

I was about to go to an empty area to test the spell and as I did the shorted girl intercepted my path seeing her was surprising I wondered what she wanted from me,from what I assumed I didn't think that anyone would talk to me other then glasses girl,blondie and louis.

-I..ehh..

She was troubled trying to find the right words to approach me with I didn't mind and just waited for her to speak with a small smile hanging up my lips,the shorty also noticed my smile the light in her eyes brightened as she found her words to say.

-Thank you...thank you for everything..

I said nodding my head towards her I wanted to continue talking,but as I was about to say something a bad feeling welled inside of me...

-uhh..

I stepped back a few steps as my head started ringing very badly dread started to appear inside my heart as it spread furiously making me go weak...

-LORD !

The 3 shouted simultaneously the obviously knew that I was in deep pain,but physically,but mentally.

The dread spread and continued to spread further giving me even more fear every second.I already couldn't hold myself and was about to collapse onto the ground,but before that happened someone grabbed onto my back supporting me...hasumi and the other two..

I spasmed and shut my eyes close trying endure the throbbing pain of this dread spreading through my body I could feel my heart directly jumping out of my mouth I wanted to scream,but held it in and like so I spend the next 10 minutes of my life feeling the incredible dread and fear spread through my body torturing me...the female hobgoblins never left my side and held me close worried and a bit teary in their eyes no clue on what to do other then holding me...

-Hey...I am...I am alright..

It stopped...the suffocating feeling finally stopped...

-What happened ! are you hurt or something...

Glasses girl and the others obviously saw the commotion that had happened me flipping out on myself and showing a incredibly pained face was engraved in everyones mind...but for now I didn't have time to deal with that...

-We have to go...we need to leave back home..

I said almost whispering as I felt my own sweat drench my whole body it was dripping down from my nose and my head my feelings were a bit fuzzy,but I wasn't tired no..I needed to go home...I didn't know what was going on or why this sudden pain engulfed me our of nowhere,but one thing I knew...I need to go home..

-Glasses girl I am leaving now...don't worry it has to do with you or your people it was me and nothing else sorry for the commotion I contact you later...

I said quickly stepping forward heading towards the exit with heavy steps the female hobgoblins were still very worried,but hearing that we needed to go home was also alarming seeing me run so forcefully made them determined as the followed behind.

The rest of the people were still slightly stupefied and confused glasses girl wanted to step forward and ask something,but stopped herself and could only watch as I left running towards my base...my home...

On the way I checked everyones status window to see if anything happened when I checked I realized that no one was missing,but when I looked closer I noticed something odd..

-Hoboku...

I muttered swallowing as I started sprinting faster towards home.
