《The Fragile Monster Lord》Chapter 84 Class Or "Jobs" And Skills Or "Arts"

Hearing my question vulgan was quiet confused at first he didn't expect me to ask something like this, but cheryth probably explained to him that I was close to a amnesiac he didn't question anything further and just told me what I wanted to know.
Arubia the great forest is the location we are all currently in...its the biggest forest positioned between 5 kingdoms this area is partially a neutral ground and also a place where the highest amount of monsters live this is also a reason why no,one really dares to claim this area because of the amount of population this huge forest has with its growing amount of monsters everyday its also said that there is a forest guardian a great monster protecting this land from invaders, but those things seem to be a legend.
-What are the 5 kingdoms ?
I asked.Quietly listening to vulgan while stroking hobuha's head a little as if she was a small pet.Vulgan nodded his head and continued while thinking about my question for a moment.
-The 5 kingdoms are the leading population of the current world as we know they are each divided into a different races being human, dwarves, elves, dragonmen and beastmen currently we are living in a time of peace the last war that had happened was 120 years ago the citizens are forgetting the past events and focusing on the current ones other then that there are a few revolutions that are bound to happen in a few kingdoms...the human one and the elven kingdom in specific really..
The state of the world didn't seem to be all too different from my own world these revolutions he is talking about seem also just normal struggles the people in this age and time meet and on the topic I noticed something odd...
-If there is a elven kingdom...how come you are living in this dangerous forest ?
My question made vulgan smile ironically...as he spat out his words with small disdain.
-The elven country doesn't look at us dark elves as "real" elves we are basically discriminated against as the race with muddy blood running through our veins our skin and eyes, hair are completely different from the wood elves or normal elves,it is believed that we dark elves are the result of a beast mating with a pure elf making us basically thought as no different then monsters...
He gnashed his teeth while saying that making me understand why they had to live in this dangerous forest this is one of the flaws this medieval age had to it the racial difference would always cause some sort of a problem be it humiliation or simply discrimination against someone, people just couldn't live with things so much different then them thinking that being the same would only be the right thing and not considered about anything else the other party had a common with them.
This topic seemed to be quiet touchy towards vulgan so I avoid asking it and just changed the topic with a small comment which he took after this I asked him about the basic system of the world such as currency and other biographical locations which may or may not be important, vulgan was patient and answered each of my questions with delicate care and sometimes adding a few pieces of history to make me understand a little better over all what he was telling me enlightened me into a lot of mechanic this world had some new while some were very identical to my own world.

One of the things that never seem to change was slavery...I had already anticipated such topic and it seems like slavery is practiced in more kingdoms then expected the dwarven, human and dragonmen seem to mainly use this sort of business to execute labor and as a sort of currency between businessmen I felt slightly disgusted by the thought of slavery, but kept it inside without a second word my opinion on this wouldn't matter the slightest it was a different world a world where I should know such things and fit in properly even if I don't agree with the way the things are going just because I came from a different society.
This topic in particular made me think about the girls it scared me for a little since it rose a thought inside of my brain mainly linking it with my death and what would happen with them...
I would definitely not go to a country that practices slavery for now keeping a low head and staying out of trouble was my goal no need to pull attention from somewhere unneeded staying in the forest and building up strength was important for me,but to what extend really ? I didn't know...
Without realizing it I noticed that my grip on hobuha had tightened vulgan also saw my grim expression and didn't say anything hobuha in the meantime was confused, but also shut her mouth and let me hug her tight without complain.
-Sorry ! I am late here have some tea...
-Sorron !
The small silence was immediately interrupted by vulgans wife shalila and her daughter calar her appearance also snapped me out of my thoughts and returned the pleasant atmosphere of the room my grip on hobuha also loosened up a lot as I took the cup of black tea with a gentle smile on my face...
Hobuha also took the wooden cup with steaming hot tea inside not sure what to do with it just staring at me trying to imitate me which was cute really.
-Its hot you have to blow it and sip a little to not burn yourself..
I said demonstrating her on my own which she understood and tried for herself drinking a small amount and showing a bitter expression because of the taste that wasn't really sweet, but enjoyable nonetheless with a thick aroma.
Maybe asking some of this tea would be a good idea...
I thought sipping a bit more until vulgan finished with his own, vulgans wife shalila had already gone taking calarel with who wanted to stay and listen to our talk which the mother objected with adult business finally getting her daughter away.
-Now I had told you the basic things you should know about the world and if I may ask what are you going to do now ?
I stopped sipping my tea for a moment raising my eyebrows I looked at him.
His question was right on the money...what was I going to do now ?
I was convinced that now I had the necessary strength to go to a kingdom if I wished for it nothing was really stopping me from doing so,but I still had my second doubts and other business that I had to finish before finally committing to this such as glasses girls group having a solid foundations is what I wanted to have before charging into the unknown strength seemed to be the same old law in this whole world and gather that strength was important for all kinds of things thats why...I will stay here for a while, but still there were a lot of question I still wanted answers to and vulgan was the perfect man that could provided me with all those answers to my questions.

-For now gather information stay here and just exchange with your village really...and on the topic do you know what levels are or what a status window is ?
My question was met with a confused expression on his part seeing this I reformed my question and asked him about jobs or how you learn skills, having specified such a thing vulgan finally understood and said.
-You really just learn those things yourself or someone teaches you and if your strong enough to can understand it too...
And like this the conversation once again derailed towards the existence of the "Status window" and from what I discovered these people don't seem to know anything about the status window at all...they can't summon it nor do they know what "Skills" or "Attributes" are from what I understood in his explanation these people seem to just understand how to execute a skill at some point if they learn it correctly and it seems to come in all different kinds of forms such as crafting, combat or even singing and dancing are included.
For example:there is a job such as a "Appraiser" this village even has its own appraiser and what he does is basically what I do...he holds an item inspects it and then tells you what it is...pretty simple, but also very confusing like how would he even know what it is just by holding it if he doesn't know what a status window is ?
The answer to this seems to be also very simple the appraiser is a person who is a "Job" holder I only understood what vulgan meant as class a job after he tried to explain it to me that because the appraiser holds a specific "Job" he is able to identify items through a string of thought that enters his mind like magic.
After this he also explained to me mechanics that I would understand as skills that he calls "Arts" arts seem to be only connected to combat mechanics for physical or normal combat there is also magic that is simply called "Spell Casting" divided by elements and unbound elements and further into their respective "spells" vulgan himself holds 2 different "Jobs" one of them is while the other one is this kind of discovery made me a bit surprised since he was basically telling me that people can have more then 1 class at the same time...I asked him if anyone could do that or if you could change your job in which he just laughed at and told me.
-Not,everyone can do that, you have to be strong and experienced enough to hold more then 1 job of course you can also change jobs, but if you do that you won't be able to access the "Arts" from your first job and to change your job you also need to access a seer stone in which you can always change back to your original job and access your previous "Arts" without a problem, people can learn "Arts" without a job too,but are sometimes limited in the way of understanding without a suitable "Job" like if you want to know a combat move you need a combat "Job" if you want to know a crafting technique you need to know a crafting "Job" there are even "Arts" and techniques that are specific to only one "Job" a warrior can learn how to clean, but a maid with the specific job just works faster and more efficient then the warrior, but in the end it also comes down to hard work you can make your own "Job" if you want or learn it from someone else who has the specific job you want and has a decently high understand of teaching you...the academy in the human and elven kingdom for example have suitable teachers that can impart you with the knowledge of a "Job" very easily
His explanation towards the status window was very fascinating to me what intrigued me the most was this item or thing called "Seer Stone" that allows you to change your class or job without erasing the skill masteries of your previous skills that you had, changing your jobs makes you unable to use the class specific skills that you had previously, but gives you a chance to learn new skills to that specific job or class....it is a bit confused to talk like this since Job and class are the exact same thing.
These "Seer Stones" are located inside a church or a adventurers guild ironically there isn't one in this small village, but there might be one in some other more developed village.
Passive skills are basically thought as techniques or a persons own strength while active skills are "Arts".
Then again I also discovered that these people seem to be fairly restricted towards their "Jobs" vulgan had said that a warrior can learn to clean, but it seems like a warrior can't "Appraise" anything this particular skill is reserved towards a "Appraiser" only, like my skill that comes mainly from my class there seems to be small restrictions for these people in comparison to someone like me who came from another world and has the "Status Window" and is able to use a class specific skill without a problem like and .
-...
His explanation had given me a lot to think about mainly about the topic of my current existence really...why are transported people equipped with a such unfair system then the normal people in this world why are we even in this forest ? If we were summoned for example shouldn't we have been summoned next to the person who called on us?
No,I shouldn't think like this...It was my fault that had brought me here I was the one who opened the book and played along and got transported here...then again who placed that book originally ? It can't be that it was me...When I buy a book I always buy it because I want it and know what to expect from it,but the book was something I never seen before...
I sighed...
I was getting way too ahead of myself in the end did it even matter ? sniffing around and trying to figure out how I got here doesn't solve anything its not like I want to return I just have to shut up and be thankful that I have such a unfair advantage against normal people.
-Are you alright ?
Vulgan asked a bit unsure I just smiled and nodded my head.
-Its alright I just had a troubling thought in my head...continue please...
Vulgan nodded his head and started to continue speaking about some history about a few kingdoms.
