“Yawn…. ‘Morning.” I greeted.

“...”

Still sleeping with a tranquil expression, he didn’t wake up until I separated from him, making his eyes instantly open.

“Huh? Oh, good morning.” He said, sheepishly.

“Sleepyhead.” I said jokingly.

“You are not one to talk, are you?” He reminded me of how I did the same, but I feigned ignorance.

Raising his hand in defeat, he stood up, so I also did the same and stretched.

“Ahh.. This was the best sleep I had.”

“Oh shush, you weren’t the one leaning on a hard piece of rock, were you?”

“It is still the best, no questions asked.” I said firmly.

Come to think of it, wouldn’t this be the best time to ask for the ‘Status Synchronization’?

“You know, when I got to this state, I earned two new unique abilities.”

“Uh huh.” He replied as if it was no surprise, but I paid it no heed and continued.

“One of them is called ‘Skill Creation’, and the other is ‘Status Synchronization’.”

“Oh. I can guess what the first one does, but what about the latter?”

Explaining to him what the menus told me, he stood in disbelief.

“That is.. fairly good, but won’t you be the one with the most advantage if I were to share mine?” He questioned.

“I guess so, since it feels as if I’m leeching off of you, but if I’m able to utilize Skill Creation to its full extent, this will probably benefit both of us.”

“Hmm.. If you were another person and told me the same thing, I still wouldn’t have agreed, but I trust in your judgement, so let us start.”

Quickly, I activated the ability, which made him shiver momentarily, and then he moved his eyes to manipulate the menu.

“Status Synchronization Initiated.” The menu read, before my body started feeling pain, but looking at Archie, he is having the same problems.

Unable to stay standing, we both collapsed at the same time while silently wriggling in pain for a few moments that also felt as if it were an eternity.

After the pain stopped, my body felt a warm sensation for a few seconds before it felt normal.

“Phew..” I sighed in relief, before a new menu popped in my eyes saying “Status Synchronization Successful.”

“Hahaha, Rain, try to open your status menu.” He told me while laughing, which made me open soon after.

Rather than one menu, two were available next to each other, with mine on the left and his on the right; my stats, which were in the tens of thousands, and his that were above the hundreds of thousands, showing a clear difference also in HP and MP.

Now the way to use this is that the stats automatically combine for both of us, so my stats are now mine+his, and his are his+mine, but the screens are separated to keep the original statuses shown.

As for the abilities, the same thing is in place, with his list on the right and mine on the left, but then the XP contained in both of them combine to form a higher leveled ability, etc.

Unsurprisingly, we both can also navigate both of our skill trees, and also unlock them for each other seeing as my skills are being randomly unlocked.

Looking carefully, each skill now costs for one point, huh. Looks like class effects also work, but suddenly, they reverted back to their original cost.

“What happened?” I asked.

“Looks like we can limit our sharing, so if I don’t want you to use this ability or effect, I can not share them.”

“I see.”

Just as I said that, they became costing only one point again, so it looks like he didn’t limit any effect.

“By the way.. what would happen if I level up now? Will I get the same number of stat and skill points as yours? Or will it be that the points we gain will be yours plus mine?”

“Let’s see, hmm? There is a monster right there.”

Due to being engrossed in what we were doing, I was completely unaware.

Ahh, this feels so shameful..

Quickly, he formed an Ice Arrow, which looked sharper than ever, and hurled it at an unprecedented speed towards the monster.

It is very fast..

The monster couldn’t dodge nor perceive the magic being cast, due to the master level of ‘Mana Manipulation’, which reduces the useless mana being thrown off.

“This.. is very useful.”

“Don’t play the word game and just tell me what you are talking about “ I told the vague Archillies.

“The effects stack, alright? One level now earns me 60 rather than 50. You should experience the same once you get a demon lord’s soul.”

“Y-yeah…”

“This is very impressive and helpful for both of us. Hehehe.”

Sighing in relief, I gaze at the bright blue sky, feeling the chilly air and warm temperature making up an incredibly great feeling as if it was inviting for a nap.

Though unfortunately, I had already woken up.

Ahh, what a waste.. what a waste..

“Since I’m leaving soon, how about we forget all about fighting and leveling up? Just have an honest date and try our best to not get into trouble.”

“You know better than me how useless that thought is, but I still want to agree, and for that you have to pick the places we are going to everyday.”

Smiling at him, he didn’t bother to resist and just started formulating our schedule..

Ahh.. this is incredibly taxing..

Currently, a week had passed and in that time we decided against further exploration, Just plain sightseeing and experiencing new things. At first, we both did something different on the first day, with me going to the Royal Library and “reading” in the same way Archillies did, which is the result of Ability Creation or in this case, Skill Creation.

He, on the other hand, had made the Bodies search for the best spots and places, and he wasn’t doing anything different either.

For the rest of the days, we enjoyed Sefai Lopie’s capital, then we moved onto places that only the Bodies had reached, thus giving us a new excitement before choosing to take a break at the end of the week.

In that time we each went to do whatever we wanted and will meet up in the Inn before midnight.

I don’t know about him, however, I went off to learn how to make accessories; pendants, earrings, necklaces, etc.

The reason was to make a two-halves pendant in the shape of a usual heart. Each of the halves will be made with a special crystal that I noticed in one of the books, and luckily I had it.

Basically, it will be like such : If the crystal detects its other half, it turns blue, if it can’t detect, then it will be red. Very easy, ain't it?

The crystals will have the communication enchantment plus a few bonuses, and since I’m going to give it an unbreakable enchant, I speculate that it won’t break if I give it a large amount of enchants.

Anyhow, after cutting it, polishing it and giving it the correct shape, I started adding the enchants with the help of Archillies’ mana from the synchronization.

Finally after a while of enchanting, I had both halves enchanted to suit the combinations I wanted, thus I stared at it while breathing heavily.

Pendant of the Heart (Right Side) : Description : With very skillful hands and an unyielding will, this pendant was the made by Rain Blue with the very thought of her love in mind. - Effects : Unbreakable. Glows in Blue if its other half exists, and Red otherwise. Increases all stats by 200% as long as it is worn. Increases the power of all abilities by 1000% Produces an indestructible shield at the cost of 10000 mana with a cooldown of one hour. Able to communicate with its other half as long as they exist on the same planet. If in 1 kilometer radius the other half is present, power of the effects is doubled.

I made the other half the same exact way, so there is no need to list the effects.

Euphoria was felt due to the amount of satisfaction gained by this work, making me laugh uncontrollably.

“I’ll give it to him later, fufufu.”

I think I sounded like an evil witch there, but that thought was instantly eradicated in this mood.

With nothing to do, I put the Heart (the two halves combined) into my Pocket Dimension and then got outside to take a breather.

Going out of the Inn after deactivating all sorts of anti-theft and warding magic, I stood there watching the sunset in the horizon, and it seems everyone else is doing the same thing as me.

“The Sun is pretty, huh.”

“Yeah.. It is.”

Without hiding his presence, Archillies crept up behind me and talked, making me unconsciously answer.

“It doesn’t seem like you are doing a lot of resting, are you?” He said with a sarcastic tone.

“Oh shush.”

Saying no more, we both stared at the sun for a while before he said..

“The sun is pretty, but you know who is prettier?”

He moved his gaze onto me after that and turned his tone into a serious one.

“You are, my dear Rain.” He kept staring adamantly.

Due to this public confession, everyone stared at us with girls hiding their red blushing faces and men staring at him jealously.

Has he lost his mind?

Normally, a girl would be happy at such a confession, but this just irritated me because just for a single moment, I saw him holding laughter back.

“Repent for thy sin!” I exclaimed before playfully punching him on his head, making him crouch down while holding it.

“Meanie.” He said while looking at me with small tears in his eyes, making everyone, me included, laugh at such a comedic scene…
