"Astral the Tempest. What is the Tempest for?" says Vert quizzically. Astral laughs and flashes his sharp teeth with a smile.
"It was a title I got from someone long ago. Tempest is a violent windy storm and when that person saw my fighting style, he called me a tempest and ever since that it has stuck with me." Astral says confidently. Vert assumes that must mean this shade is a rogue type fighter since he fights with speed.
'Great more rogues... I was hoping for a healer but I'll take whatever I get at the point. Plus I used such a strong soul then this shade must be fairly strong.' Vert thinks to himself when assessing his new minion. Astral has on black leather armor accompanied with a hood and what looks like a face mask. Two crude looking shor tswords sit on his hips and hidden daggers litter his body as Vert assumes he uses it for throwing.
"Well, since I've summoned you, I guess I'll check your stats." Vert says aloud so Astral knows what he is doing.
Name: Astral -----------Classes------------- --------Powers------- -------Skills-------- Titles: Tempest Rogue: Level 100 ?????? Natural Born Killer ---------Attributes---------------- ?????: Level 100 ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ???????: Level 100 ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ???????: Level 50 ?????? Blade Master ??????????????? Alchemist: Level 50 ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ?????? ?????????? ??????????????? ??????????
Vert is dumbfounded by the mass of question marks that entered his brain. He doesn't understand what this status mean when it spams question marks like this but Vert decides to ignore it for now. Vert figures that there is nothing else left to do in the underworld so he looks up at Astral.
"Are you ready to go into the real world?" Vert says.
"Yes I am, Master." Astral says with an excited smile on his face and while gripping the hilts of his crude shor tswords. Vert makes sure to get one thing through before they leave.
"Don't be killing random people, ok? Ask me before you kill." Vert says with a firm voice. Astral's smiles turns a little sour and Astral knows he cannot defy Vert.
"Fine." Astral says with a depressed voice. Vert waves his hand and both of them is sent to the real world. A surprised yelp is heard as Vert's consciousness enters reality. Vert looks around and sees Cynthia in the living room with a surprised look spread across her face. She is sitting on a love seat and Vert understands where the yelp came from as it would be weird to see two men appear before you from thin air.

"Hey Cynthia, this is Astral the Tempest, a shade who I have summoned from the Abyss. Astral, this is Cynthia, my hero and second in command." Vert says and Astral bows to Cynthia. Cynthia does a slight head tilt to acknowledge Astral but she seems suspicious of him. With introductions being out of the way, Vert looks outside and can see it has stopped raining and it will be dark soon. Vert assumes that his army didn't get much to eat so he decides to help them out.
"Astral, how good can you see in the night?" Vert asks.
"I can see as well as night as I can during the day so pretty well by your standards." Astral says with complete confidence.
"Alright, go out on the hunt and kill some medium sized animals. Anything is fair game as long as it isn't a human or something with a hint of intelligence. Take whatever you kill to the biggest house in the village and give the dead animals to the people there. They will know what to do with it." Vert commands and Astral bows to accept this mission. Astral starts to turn into black mist and in mist form he slips under the door. Vert sighs as he has had to do a lot today and he wants a small break, but if he plans on living and growing stronger he needs to keep going.
Vert plops down onto the couch and closes his eyes. Cynthia stirs a little bit like she has something to say.
"What's wrong Cynthia?" Vert says without opening his eyes. It is silent for a little bit and finally Cynthia speaks up.
"Why were you holding my face close to yours earlier?" Cynthia says shyly.
"Your right eye, the Eye of the Reaper, went out of control and made a tear in reality. I simply took care of it." Vert responds.
"H-How! I've been looking for the answer for so long but have yet to find one! I have killed so many people because of this stupid eye! I wish I could just cut it out and-."

"Stop." Vert says to interrupt Cynthia in her rambaling. Vert opens his eyes and looks into Cynthia's. he activates both eyes into the Eye of the Reaper and Cynthia gasps audibaly.
"I have them too. Whether you think if it's a burden or a curse it is ours to bear. We were given these gifts and we must appreciate them. I will teach you how to use your power properly, in due time." Vert says. Cynthia nods her head to accept this and feels ashamed of herself. She took her power for granted and disowned it because that is what society wanted. Now Vert has shown Cynthia on how to accept herself and her powers.
"Now, where am I going to sleep at?" Vert asks as he actually feels pretty warn out. Cynthia thinks about it for a moment and she goes to say her parents room and then she remembers what happened to it. Cynthia put her mother's corpse there when since she didn't want to see her mother's headless body everyday. Cynthia doesn't want to make Vert sleep on the couch so she decides to make the sacrifice, but Vert interrupts her before she can say anything.
"Oh I know! To deal with the problem of you being warm at night in the winter, we can share a bed! I can easily heat my skin up to a comfortable temperature and keep you warm at night." Vert says and then nods to himself to show his confidence in this plan.
"W-W-What do we mean by sharing a bed?!" Cynthia yells while blushing.
"Like sleep back to back, or you could snuggle me if you want. Up to you honestly." Vert says. He doesn't care either way as keeping a flame constantly going through winter will be a pain in his ass. He would rather sit around and read or find one a group of Gods to join since he wants more allies. Cynthia is at a loss for words and Vert waits for a little bit for her to answer but Cynthia ends up looking away from Vert and twiddling her thumbs. Vert is getting more and more tired and decides to go to bed without Cynthia. She can comes sleep whenever she feels like it.
"Well, I guess we will find out what you prefer when you come to bed tonight." Vert says as he yawns loudly. "Come to bed whenever you want and if you need me, don't be afraid to wake me up."
Vert gets up and walks up to Cynthia, gives her head a rub and then walks upstairs. When he gets to the second floor he give Astral one last command to do while Vert is sleeping.
'Astral, after you deliver the animals to the village, scout the area and learn every inch of this village and the surrounding area for about 20 miles or until I wake up.' Vert says to Astral telepathically.
'Alright master... If I find bandits can I... eliminate them?' Astral asks with some hope in his voice. Vert thinks about this for a second and decides on an answer.
'Sure, why not. Make sure to loot them to and bring it back to me. Ok?' Vert asks.
'Hahaha, of course!' Astral says and he sounds very happy to Vert. With that being taken care of, Vert goes into Cynthia's room and makes his gauntlets disappear. He takes of his metal boots and finally takes off his jacket and shirt. Ready for bed, Vert lays down and quickly falls asleep.
