《Deck of Cards》The summoning

Once the bright light finally faded away, Echos eyes slowly started to adjust to the rooms dimness and his ears wouldn't stop ringing. Slowly his eyes adjusted and the ringing went down enough to start hearing familiar voices around him. They seem to be their classmates voices, because one annoying voice was too familiar to him.
'Was it a stun grenade the blindness was too long. What was it then?'he thinks to himself while regaining his senses. 'I fucking hate that ringing voice.'
Once his senses are back to normal, he looks around the room they are in while blinking a lot.
'Not my classroom.'he thinks while watching around the dark stone room, which only lighted by a few torches on the wall, far away from them.
He looks on the ground and sees white drawing on the cold stone floor.
His eyes grow big and he looks around everywhere very quickly. He sees a person wearing white robes with its hood up, so the face couldn't be seen. The robe was covered in gold runes. The person also was holding a golden staff with blue crystal on the top.
'Oh no.'he thinks and looks around more with a focused gaze.
'Oh no.'he thinks when he sees four man, judging from their body built, standing behind the person wearing robes. The four man are wearing a white heavy armor with silver lines near joints. The armor covers them from head to toe, leaves no place uncovered. There isn't even a slid in the helmet, to see out. Around their waist, there is a white belt, holding a white scabbard which itself holds a sword with a white grip and silver guard.
'Oh fuck no. Don't tell me.'he thinks before the person in robes says with a mans voice"Welcome Heroes."
'God fucking dammit. I was right.'he says to himself in his head, as he now looks at his classmates. There seems to be twenty three people here, including him, out of the thirty in the class. He looks around and finds that their teacher was here too, sitting on the ground, while rubbing her back.
To help her, he reaches his left hand out to her, which looks at for a few seconds and then takes it. He pulls her up and she says"Thank you, Echo."
Echo just nods and turns his sight to the man in the robe, who is still talking."-summoned you here to defeat the demon lords."
'He said lords in plural. Fuck. There's more then one. Great.'
"What the fuck are you talking about. What fuck is this shithole!"is yelled by a boy with brown hair and hazel eyes. The boys name is Jack and he's the tough guy in his class. He always wears tank top to show off his big muscles. There not the "hot muscles" but more "It looks fucking disgusting"kinda muscles. You can see the fucking veins on his arms. Thats not normal for an eighteen year old.

"You will get your answer from his Majesty. So would you please follow me."he says with a calm voice, but Jack doesn't listen to him and starts walking towards the man in robes.
'This is gonna be fun to watch.'thinks Echo to himself and crosses his arms. As he does that, he notices that there is a deck of cards in his hands.'Oh right.'he remembers.
So while watching angry Jack approaching the man in robes, he starts shuffling the cards in his hand, without even looking at the cards even once. The others don't say anything because they are afraid of him when he's angry and for his friends, they are just grinning, while being quiet. Even miss Evelyn, won't say nothing to her student and just lets him so what he wants. How could she even stop him with his small stature.
"I advise for you to calm down, Sir!"says the mam in the robes to Jack, but he doesn't listen to him. He walks up to him and grabs the man by the collar of his robe and lifts him up in the air.
"What is this place. Explain it."he says with an angry voice.
"Sorry to say that, but I am not allowed to say that. So would you kindly put me down, before the guards interfere."he says in a calm voice. He clearly isn't afraid, because he knows that the guards can handle Jack without a trouble.
"This is bad."mutters Evelyn next to Echo.
Echo just sighs and stops shuffling. He takes out a five of diamonds from the deck into his right hand and just throws it at Jack. The card flies out of his fingers and with a great speed, cuts Jack cheek. The card itself flies into the crack in the wall and stops there with a small bloodstain on it.
'The card was faster then usual. Why?'he thinks.
When Jack feels the stinging pain in his cheek, he turns towards Echo, to see him shaking the cards. He lets go of the man, who drops onto his feet and looks at Jack and then Echo.
"What the fuck did you just do?!"he says with an angry voice. Echo doesn't say anything and just looks at Jack with his clear gray eyes that show no emotion. If Jack would approach someone like that, they would feel fear. But not Echo. His face didn't show any emotions either. He has a natural pokerface.
'You are a complete idiot.'he thinks to himself as he watches him. Echo stops shuffling his cards and puts them away into his left pocket.

Once Jack is right in front of him, he picks Echo up and says"Did you just fucking threw a card at me. You fucking shit needs to learn a lesson."
'Sooo scared.'he says to himself in his head sarcastically.
Evelyn who is next to the two, says"Um... Jack. Please calm down and put Echo dow-"
"Shut it. You have no power here."says Jack.
'That's not a nice way to speak with a nice lady.'he thinks to himself.
"I guess I have to teach you a lesson."he says to Echo. Instead of showing fear, he just smirks, before kicking Jack in the nuts, causing him to let go of Echo, who lands onto his feet.
While holding his nuts, he says"Fucking asshole."
He just ignores his words and just pulls him with his left hand towards him and at the same time kicks his legs. This makes him lose all of his balance and drop onto the floor. He puts his leg onto his upper back and forces it down on him.
He lets out a painful scream and tries to free himself, but no use. His muscular arms can't reach his leg holding him down. So he tries for the other leg, but his hand also ends up under his foot. He keeps cursing Echo, who just ignores him and forces his feet even more down. The sounds of bones slowly cracking could be heard by those who are closer.
He looks away from Jack to look at the man in the white robe.
"Can we get moving already."finally Echo says to the man in the robe, who replies"Of course Sir. Please follow me now heroes."
He starts to walk away with the students following him. He also tells two of the guards to grab Jack. So they come where Jack and Echo are and grab him. Echo takes of his foot and walks over the wall, to pick up his card, before leaving the room.
While following the others, he looks at the card and thinks'Beside the bloodstain, the card is totally fine. Not even one scratch. How? The crack should have left even a small scratch behind, but it's completely fine.'
He looks at the card and licks his thump, to clean of the stain. Once the stain is gone, he dries the card into his blue jeans and puts it into his pocket, where the other guards are.
While Echo was walking, there was a talking in the group of students who were few meters in front of Echo.
"He can actually talk. I always thought he was a mute."says one of the boys and a girl replies"I think that's not important not. What's important is to find out where we are and why we are here." "Didn't the man say that we are here to kill demon lords."says a boy.
"So I didn't miss hear him."mutters a girl to herself.
"The way he took down Jack, was pretty cool."says one of the girls. "Seriously. Thats not important now."says a man with blond hair and blue eyes.
"You angry that your friend was took down, Chris?"she says jokingly
"Shut it, Mari."he snaps back.
"Scary."she says sarcastically.
"All of just be quiet."says Evelyn.
"Fiiine."says Mari.
So they quietly follow the man into the throne room, to meet the king
While walking, Echo is looking around the corridor they are walking. The floor is made out of dark wood, which itself is covered with a blue rug, that they are walking on. The rug itself has ocean blue tone and a golden patterns. The walls are made out of stone and have been painted white. The walls are covered with paintings of people on both side and between paintings there are torches. There are no windows nor doors here. As for the ceiling, it was covered with the same dark wood, but unlike the walls and the floor, it wasn't decorated.
Echo could hear four sets of heavy footsteps behind him, made by the guards. The armor itself didn't make any noise at all.
'Four behind me, two carrying Jack and two next to the man..So in total of eight guards.'he thought.
He also started to think an escape route If he needed it 'A straight corridor with no windows or doors. Eight guards currently and probably more up ahead. No way to escape alive. Fuck I hate it.'
There was no way to escape this place.
After walking over five minutes, they reached in front of a pair of huge doors. Even though, they had changed corridors, there was still no windows. There were three doors after they had exited the previous corridor, but they were guarded by two armed guards per door.
The man opened the door walked into the room with the students and the teacher following him.

Shattered World: New Game +
Monsters have appeared and are attacking. The only hope for humanity are the gods who have come to help them. Granting their chosen the power and abilities to fight against the onslaught. Almost like a video game. Specifically, the video game Shattered Earth. A little too specifically like Shattered Earth? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Some things about this story. This is a brutal world and a gory story, the gore is described. It is also NOT a power fantasy. This story depicts an Apocalypse, and humanities attempts to overcome it. There is more stuff to be noted that are different but those would be spoilers. Just know, if you are going into this expecting a litRPG power fantasy save the world story, you will not find it.
