《Deck of Cards》Talk

A few days have passed since Evelyns disappearing and the situation in the castle was horrible. Their healer was gone without a trace, which meant their fighting force was not too weak to even be useful to the Kingdom.
And what Echo had heard from a reliable source, there was supposedly a rumor going around to frame the heroes and then get rid of them. Reason being that they are useless and aren't worth their cost anymore.
So when Echo learned about it, he could have warned the others, but there wouldn't be any reason to do it. The kingdom will take care of his problems by themselves and after the heroes are gone, he can get rid of the obstacles.
'Maybe I should save one of them and frame him for the murder of four Royal family members. The kingdom would think that it is the escape hero then, because he or she would have a reason for it....but If I do that, it can't be someone who won't go down easy. Someone weak, which means Jack and Mari won't do, as they can be a little troublesome.' So now, Echo will wait and see how the events go.
As for now, he is sitting on top of the cathedral bell tower and is looking around, while just thinking.
'Hmm.....Could my staff destroy this place in a single hit?'Echo wondered out of nowhere and thought about it for a few seconds, but in the end, he decided'Naah. I don't want to draw attention to me.'
"Huuuh I'm so bored."he muttered"Nina and Skyeza are busy. Kuro and Lily are playing around. And I'm just sitting here, doing nothing."
"Wanna talk then?"he hears a mans voice next to him suddenly.
'I couldn't hear him coming at all.'he thought and looked at the man wearing completely black clothes that looked almost like his. As for his face, it was handsome. His eyes were purple and red and his hair black and white with purple tips.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to fight you or anything."he says and sits down next to him.
"Who are you?"Echo asks him, while looking at him.
"To put it simply, a god and also your father-in-law."he says.
"Your...Nox's father."he concludes and he nods to that.
"Names Lucifer by the way."he introduces himself and so does Echo"Echo."
"Well then Echo. Lets talk about you unbalancing natural balance."he says and starts talking"When I created this world, I gave it to my two daughters: Nox and Sola. Their job was to manage this world, but never interfere with it too much. Sola created her faith and Nox her Demon Lords. Sola has millions of followers, while Nox only seven. And this went on for millennia, until you appeared. You became the eighth Demon Lord, Sin of Despair. And this unbalanced the power scaling. You being a Mutated Vampire doesn't help it either. Now then Echo or do you prefer Despond?"
"Doesn't matter."Echo answers and Lucifer continues."After you finish what ever you want to do, you will retire and not fight the war. The balance must be always kept and If it isn't, it is gods job to do so. Most cases, I would just kill you, but as you are married to my daughter, I won't. So Echo, take over this kingdom and then retire with your harem. You can fight small fights, but never an army. Got it?"
"Yeah... basically after this kingdom is mine, I am done with the war."
"Yes. Thats how it is. So...are you going to do that?"
"Might as well. The Royal Treasurer can fund me for a lifetime."
"Good to hear that."Lucifer says and gets onto his feet"Also don't die. My daughter Luna went completely mad after his lover was killed by his father. Great kid that boy was.."

"Okay...I will remember it."Echo says and turns around to look at Lucifer, only to see nothing there. Seeing how he is gone now, he lets out a deep sigh of relief and lays down on the roof."
Echo looked at the sky and then at his feet, where he saw a wooden box, which now had suddenly appeared. So Echo reached out to the box and put it onto his lap. He opened it and in there, he saw a letter, which read.
"Wedding Gift"
Echo put the letter away and looked at the object in the box. It was a jet black handcannon. Echo took it out of the box and looked over it. He took out the six shot cylinder and rolled it, before swinging it back.
"Nice."Echo muttered and got onto his feet. He aimed with the gun around the place, before stopping. He looked at the castle through the sights and he looked around a little more, before stopping at Jack. Knowing, that the cylinder was empty, he cocks the gun and pulls the trigger.
To his surprise, a bullet fires out of the gun with a loud bang. It flies through the air and hits Jack in the head, exploding his head. Blood and bone shards fly everywhere with screams following it.
Echo looks at the gun with a confused face, before muttering"Yeah....I'm gonna enjoy this."
"Uuum Dad...You were just talking about balance and then you have him a gun, that can kill a hero three kilometers away. Isn't that a little too strong?"Nox asks her father, who replies"Naha. The entire balance story was a complete bullshit. I just don't want him to take over the human kingdom, as it isn't his destiny. This job is for someone else, who has yet to reincarnate."
"Um... whatever you say dad."Nox replies and then asks"But why did you tell him about Luna?"
"Reasons."Lucifer replies.
"Okay...But I really do feel sorry for Luna. Losing her first and only love in a such a gruesome way."
"Well Nevada knew what he was doing. It's his fault to be honest, but this just an opinion."
