Description:

Ulen is a rare Pure Human (most humans possess a significant amout of demi-human DNA). Short in stature and would have average looks if it were not for the twisted condition of the right side of his body.

Due to the effects of a curse and severe injuries suffered while still young the right side of his face is covered by burn scars. His right eye was burned out leaving a hollow socket. His right arm, including his hand, were also serverely burned rendering the hand non-functional. An attempt at magical healing caused his right leg's bones to shatter, extensive damage to the nerves and ligaments occured as well.

His right leg was physically repaired at a Tamer Center, but full functionality could not be restored. He suffers constant pain from the supports that give his right leg minimal functionality. Of note is his hair which is a black that seems to almost absorb light. He also possesses tremendous vitality which helps him heal naturally at two to three times the rate of a normal human.

History:

Found in North Carolina near Charlotte by Tamer Cid Kramer, while carrying out the elemination of a regressed demi-human. Ulen's injuries were suffered during the elemination.

Where Ulen is originally from or if he has has any family is unknown as no Pure Human matching his age and characteristics has been reported.

After recovering to a acceptable level Ulen was taken to a unnamed government facility to determine the nature of his curse and to verify his status as a Pure Human. The curse could not be identified, but testing showed it to be a very high ranked type of Forbiden magic, attempts to remove it ended in failure.

Ulen recieved basic education and underwent further tests at this facility for a period six years. One of the results of the tests was that Ulen showed a high aptitude for all magic systems except light, though the curse might have infleunced the results. A byproduct of these tests and the continual effects of the curse. Ulen developed a Immunity to Forbiden magic.

At the end of this period Ulen was released into the care of Tamer Cid Karmer who adpoted him and gave him the name Ulen Gunter Lars Yeadon. For the next three years Tamer Cid Karmer continued performing his tamer duties while acompanied by the now nine year old Ulen. At the the age of 12 Ulen was enrolled at a public school in Ellington, Missouri where finished both middle school and high school in period of four years. He graduated with stellar academic scores, but due to his severe injuries only passing physical scores. Of note is his attaining high proficiency in two magic systems, a feat normally only seen in Masters level graduates of a university.

*Addendum: Ulen Gunter Lars Yeadon having recently graduated high school he applied for and atained a tamer liscense with passing scores. He passed the writen portion with a 99 out of a possible 100, however he only achieved a 35 out of a possible 100 on his physical evaluation. For a total score of 67% a score of 65% is needed to pass.
