After dying fot the first time Luke went to grab something to eat from the kitchen. It was saturday noon so his mother was in home too. While making the sandwich Luke kept thinking about the realism of the game and how painful was to die there.

'Now I understand why Nathan was so mad with me' He thought recalling the time when they fought against each other in the tournament. 'I really need so avoid dying from now on. If it wasn't that the system reduced the amount of pain that the players received only masochist could play the game'

“Oh Lu is really rare to see you at this time of the day.” Her mother said surprised to him when he entered the living room. She was sitting on the couch while watching the tv.

“Yeah it's just that I died in the game and now I have to wait for one day before I can log back” He explained to his mother. He didn't knew the penalties for dying only that he needed to wait one day before he could log back.

'I should ask Nathan or John about it or I could search for it on the internet' Luke though and sat next to his mother.

“Died? I really can't understand technology this days. ” Her mother said confused.

“Please don't speak like you are an old lady in special when you don't even look like someone from you age” He complained about it.

Luke's mother was about to turn forty but she looked like ten years younger. She had a beautiful straight black hair and a slim body. All the women's in the neighborhood were jealous of her.

“But I really want to understand it. Explain it to me how can you enter a game and move like in real life or how is it possible that one day here is four there?” She asked with puppy eyes.

“Jeez even if I wanted to even I can't explain it. if you want to know you should play the game” I said trying to end this conversation.

“Mmm is not a bad idea but I don't have much time now so It would be better if I start playing in summer!” She said enthusiastically “I'm also going to spend more time with Lu while he explains more of the game to me and...”

Before she could continue I decided to interrupted her.

“Hey mom it's been a long time since we go out for lunch. What do you think if we do it today? Luke suggested to change the topic.

“Sure but aren't you eating something now?” she asked me curiously.

“I just finished eating and besides I can eat more so let's go.” I said and went to the door to leave.

“Okay it's been awhile since we went out together.” She replied smiling.

And like that they both went to a restaurant near their home.

The reason why Luke suggested going out for luch was because if her mother keep that line of thought she was definitely going to order tha capsule today. He wanted her mom to play the game but what he didn' want was to explain her the mechanics of the game to her. That could take a lot of time that he could use to fight monsters, go on adventures or more importantly find another spirit.

After eating they went to the park near the restaurant and seated on a bench to enjoy the nice weather and rest.

“So Lu did you make some friends while playing?” Her mother asked him. She was always worried that her son never had any friend besides John and Nathan. He was a good son never caused problems, doing well enough in school even if he could do better and he also was practicing the sword style that she taught him but he never socialized with people of his age. Because of this she was hoping for him to make new friends in this game.

“Yeah I made some new friends” I replied normally but then my mother had a delighted expression in her face.

“Really? Tell me more about them” she inquired more.

“Well then...” Luke began talking about his friends while her mother listened to him and nodded once in a while.

He talked about the sociable Sarah, the kind but also scary Terra, Shadow who was useless and of course about the princess. Her mother was paying him a lot of attention while thinking

'They sound like good and weird people' Mei thought lisening to his son. Luke didn't notice but he was happily talking about his friends and when he talked about the princess you could see some light in his eyes. 'He talks about this Yue girl more than the others and it seems that they really get along well. Could it be that she is his...'

“Hey Lu is that girl Yue your grilfriend?” she decided to ask directly.

“Why do you ask that?” Luke said with a red face nervously.

“For how you talk about her it seems like that” she replied him waiting for his answer.

“Well... yeah I like her but she still not my girlfriend yet” I explained.

“Yet? How's that?” her mother asked not understanding

“It's hard to explain. So mom how is everything going at the dojo?” I said to avoid answering the question.

“Mmm... well everything is fine. Oh now that I think of it one of my student is similar to the girl you like” At the beginning she doubted if she should ask more about it but then she remembered that Luna was similar his son possible future girlfriend.

“Oh really? tell me more about it” Luke said with a mischievous smile.

“Her name is Luna perhaps you know her she goes to your school.” Mei started telling happily about her favourite student.

“Yeah I hear about her. She is my school idol after all” he said refraining from laughing.

“Yeah she is a very nica and beautiful girl but she isn't the honor student that you all think about it.” she said as if she had disclosed a very important secret.

“How can that be?” At this point he was enduring it with all his might.

“The truth is that she is a very arrogant person. She thinks that I didn't notice it but after all the time I spent training and chatting with her it's impossible to not notice it. I really care about her she is like a little sister to me but well she has that broken personality. Nothing comparing to that girl you like her personality is far worst than Luna i'm wondering what do you like about her” she finished while thinking that his son had weird tastes.

The truth was that Mei could only grasp the basic of Luna personality after all the time they spent together. This showed how good was Luna at hiding it.

“Well it doesn't matter as long as you present her to me” She said smiling.

“Okat let's go back” I said and turn around to go home.

“Hey! Don't leave me here alone.” her mother said and followed him.

The next day after doing some work up and practicing with the swords I went to meet Nathan and John at the Burger king near school. Like last time they were both waiting for me while eating.

“Hi guys” I said and sit with them.

“Hi Luke How are you?” John asked while Nathan kept eating.

“Fine and you guys?” Luke answered

“Good” they replied.

“So you could speak Nathan.” Luke mock him.

“Shut up i'm really hungry.” he said pissed off.

“Don't mind him. He is mad because he died yesterday.” John explained with a wry smile.

“It wasn't my foult my pary was useless” Nathan tried to defend himself. “They were all noobs they couldn't work as a team.”

“Yeah yeah you are right now eat your food” John said ignoring him.

“Don't treat me like a child!” he yelled.

“So what have you been doing in the game Luke” John asked me ignoring Nathan again.

“Well I also died yesterday” I said like it was something normal. After all it was an RPG someday you are going to die.

“What!?” they both shouted.

“Hey Nathan don't spit food from your mouth” I complained like that to see if they could forget what I just said. I did this because I knew that they will literally want all the details about it.

“Oh sorry but you wont be able distract us from the topic now so you should start telling the story now with all the details.” Nathan said as if it was an order.

“You should give up and tell us” John said with a big smile on his face.

“Uh okay the thing was like this...” I sighed and began telling what happened but as soon as I said that the princess came with me.

“Wait! You said Hamilton went with you!? John shouted and Nathan agree also said somehing like that.

Then I realize that it will impossible to tell the whole story without letting them know about Lunas true personality.

'I don't like the idea of telling people about it but they are my best friends so it should be fine with them' Luke thought deciding telling them the truth.

“Okay hear me out don't tell anybody about this” they both nodded at my words “Good do you remember that I tould some time ago that I found another interesting thing well he truth is...”

After explaining them of Luna's true personality they were both dumbfounded.

“To believe that Hamilton true self is like that” Nathan said still processing what he heard.

“I need to see it with my own eyes or I wont believe it” John couldn't believe it he really idolized the princess. “Sorry keep telling the story I will think about that later.”

I told them almost all of the trip the road to Felian village, the time we spent searching for the labyrinth in the Garudian forest and what happened inside and how I died. The only parts that I left out were the princess fear of darkness and the talk we had later. I finished the story and I thought that they were going to ask me all kind of question about the dragon but...

“Sob sob” they both had some tears in their eyes.

“Eh?” I couldn't hide my confusion. 'why were they crying?'

“John we can finally let him go” Nathan said with a great sense of accomplishment.

“Yes Nathan I never thought that this day will be so soon” John replied with a smile while he still had some tear on his eyes.

“What are you guys talking about?” I asked with dumbfounded expression.

“It was hard to raise you but now all of our efforts were paid. You now have a girlfriend and new friends” John explained while looking at me as if I was his child.

“What the hell!? Are you two out of your minds!?” I yelled at the two of them. “Besides she is not my girlfriend”

“Really? Is hard to believe after all it seems you two like each other.” Nathan told me with envious eyes.

“You can tell that just from the story!?” I still couldn't believe what we were talking about.

“Don't try to deny it after all you got burned up alive so she could escape!” John yelled passionately.

“Yeah but...” I tried to retort but they wouldn't let me.

“Silence what are you doing here talking to us instead of going back and talk to her!” John shouted as if I was an idiot.

“He is right if you go now you may be able to found her. You marked that village as your resurrection point right?” Nathan followed John speech and told me that.

“Mark resurrection point? What are you talking about?” I asked confused.

They both stared at me blankly.

“How can he be such an idiot and get a girl like that!” John yelled as if he was complaining to the heavens.

“Let me explain it to you moron...” Nathan explained to me how the resurrection point worked in AOM and he penalties for dying. When he finished I run back to my house and log back. It has already passed one day since I died.

As soon as I log back I saw the town where my life in this world began. It was the Spirit forest where I met the wind spirit.

'Shit Nathan was right.now I won't be able to see Yue any time soon. I could ask Terra where she is but...' I recalled the talk we had and decided what to do.

“She probably needs time to think so if I go to where she is I migh make things worst” I said my toughts loud. “We maybe encouner each other later or at the end after winter vacations ends we will meet at school.” Dual kept saying his thoughts loud and didn't noticed the person behind him.

“Oh boy what a nice surprise I didn't hought that I would see you so soon” It was his master Benjamin

Yue's POV

“Hey what are you doing” She shouted “We have to help him!” while I was saying that last sentence another voice interpose with mine.

“Earth castle” Terra shoutes her strongest defensive skill to seal the exit of the bridge.

“Why are you doing!? We have to help him!” I shouted.

“Shadow do it now before she release herself” Sarah yelled desperately.

It will be easy for me to break free from them after all I am much stronger than them. But when I tried to do it my body wouldnt move like I wanted.

You have been paralyze. You wont be able to move for five minutes.

She saw a scratch on his left arm wear where she was being pulled by Shadow. Yue was so mad that she wanted to yell but she also wasn't able to talk.

'Shit! This idiot poisoned me. If something happens to Dual then i'm going to kill you until you reach level 1!' she cursed Shadow in her mind while they escaped.

We reached the resting area after a couple of minutes and then I can finally could move.

“Bastard why did you poisoned me!? We have to go and help Dual now and if anything happen to him... SPAK” Before I could finished something hit me in te cheek.

It was Terra with a red face full of anger. You could see that she was restraining herself from slapping Yue again.

“Why?” I asked while fealing fear of her.

“Stop acting like a spoiled child and think coherently for a minute” Terra said with cold voice.

Some minutes passed in complet silence. You could feel the tension in the air. And then after 10 minutes...

“Hic hic” Tears started falling from Yue's eyes “It's all my fault. If it wasn't for me maybe we could had all escaped”

All of them stayed silent without uttering a word. She was right it was her fault thats why no one try to console her. If she have heard Shadows explanation before she would have known about the dragon. But she couldn't help it her head was a mess because of what Dual told her and when she knew that he was in danger all of that thoughts went out of her mind she just wanted to see if he was fine. But because he ended dying and she was alive.

“It must have hurt a lot being killed by a dragon and it happen to him because of me. Why did he did that? He is an idiot like me he should have left me there so the dragon could ate me and run away. He didn't have to save such a worthless person like me”i said while thinking how pathetic I was.

Terra came near me again and SPAK she hit me again in the same cheek as before. I couldn't understand why she did this time but I kept crying.

“You can say that it's your fault all you want but don't said he is an idiot for saving you!” Terra shouted. I have never seen her so mad in all my life. Yue was really scared of her right now. “He did it for you and you still call him an idiot? You really are a fool I don't understand why that guy loves you. Uh we should head back guys” she sighed and talk to Shadow and Sarah who were silent all this time.

Boh of them left without saying anything. Yue was still standing there looking at he floor.

“You too go back after all we can't finish the mission witthout you.” Terra said while still acting cold towards her.

“Yes” I just replied and started walking. I was still crying a little but I needed to end this mission after all or all his efforts will be in vain.

“After clearing up your mind you can come and talk to me if you want” Terra said and went where the other two were. Yue was really surprised by this but at the end she had a small smile on his face.

'I'm really a lucky person for having her as my friend and also for having a guy like that interested in me' Yue thought while watching the Phoenix stone.

After that we left the labyrinth and went back to Felian village. It only took as one day to go back because before we were wondering around the forest but we were never far away from the village. We bought the necessary food for the trip back to Norvex city.

The jouney back was really calm. No one tried to assault us and we didn't talk much because of what happened. But at least the tension from before was no longer there but it still was a little awkward. The fourth and last night before we arrive I decided to talk to Terra.

“Hi can we talk for a minute?” I asked her with a timid voice. At the moment she was alone watching for any bandits that could attack us while the rest of us slept.

“Sure but don't you have to say something before” Terra asked with a demandant voice.

“Yeah sorry about what I said before I was wrong” I apologized. I knew I was wrong after all the time I spent thinking.

“Good don't forget to apologize to him when you see him” She said smiling.

I blushed and sat next to her.

“So tell me what happened?” she asked about what I wanted to talk about. Even if i already had clear what to do I wanted to hear another person opinion. Also I needed to talk with someone about this topic.

After finishing Terra look me directly to the eyes and said.

“How can you be so stupid?”

“Yeah I know” I said with a wry smile.

“Uh let me guess. After that nice conversation you were captivated by him and wanted to asked him to be your boyfriend” she really knows what I think back then.

“Yes...” I replied

“And then you screw it up” She said with a smile on her face. It really pisses me off when she does this.

“Yes...” I replied again.

“Well normally you should go and beg him to accept you” she said like it was nothing.

“What!?” I was planning to ask him normally. I started to feel really nervous. 'Do I really have to do that'

“Lucky for you that guy will forgive you if you ask him normally” She said with a mischievous smile. She was mocking me.

“Uh yeah I will go find him after we end this” it was decided.

“Yeah but at least try to do it in some special way” she suggested me.

“Yeah you are right I will think of something” I said finallt being able to smile after all of this.

“And Yue remember what you learnt that day. You need to try to think of the people you care about. If you can't do that you may lose them” Terra said to mewith a serious face.

“Yes!” I replied. I knew that I was decided to do it.

The next day Yue went to deliver the relic to Trent at his office. The rest of them decided to wait outside for her. She knocked and entered the room.

“Oh Yue is nice to see you again. I hope this means that you habe brought what I asked you for.” He said while smirking. “Eh where is Dual? He asked dumbfounded at the end.

“Well we had some problems at the end but thanks to him we found a gem suitable for being the relic” I said with a forced smile and wanted to leave and go where Dual is.

“Oh it's beautiful thank you very much and...” he was going to talk a lot if I let him so I decided to interrupt him.

“Yeah no problem. I really want to stay here and talk more but I really have to leave bye!” I tried to leave after saying that but he didn't let me.

“Wait! We prepare some rewards for you two” he said and grabbed my hand.

“Okay give to me so I could leave.” I said annoyed.

“Sure here who have. Can you also give his reward to Dual I don't know when i'm going to see him again?” Trent asked her.

“Sure no problem...” Then she saw what the rewards were, she couldn't be happier about them. “Than you so much” she shaked his hand and left running back where her friends were.

'Prepare Dual. I now have the perfect way to ask you to be my boyfriend' Yue thought with a big smile on her face.

“What was that about?” Trent was left there dumbfounded.

Five minutes later she arrived at the the entrance of the city where they were waiting for her.

“Oh there she is and why is he running?” as soon as Sarak saw her asked that.

“Terraaaaa!” Yue came shouting that.

“What!?” Terra yelled surprised.

“I found a way to ask him!” I yelled happily.

“Good for you then” Terra still couldn't grasp what was she saying.

“Sarah sent a messsage to Dual and ask him where he is” Yue said smiling like a kid. She couldn't have been more excited.

“Sur...” before Sarah could finished bad news came.

“Sorry but it would be useless” Shadow said with a low voice afraid of what going to happen.

“WHY!? I shouted without thinking. I was about to get angry.

“I spoke with him yesterday and he went to a trip o an elf village. He also told me that he wanted to focus on this so he will disconnect his chat window.” Shadow finished explaining

Thhey all felt silent and then..

“YOU MUST BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!? How i'm going to find him there a lot of elven village.” she shouted with all her might cursing her bad luck.

'Calm yourself there must be way to find him' Yue thought and for now she started to make question to Sarah and Shadow to see if they knew something. Shadow was the one with most information so he was really useful.

“Good with I don't need to ask anything else guys thanks for all. I'm going to search for him now bye!” she said and left the city without looking back.

“I hope she finds him” Sarah said.

“Don't worry she will.” Terra said while smiling.

“Shit Dual will be mad at me later. He said he wanted to focus on that...” Shadow said his thoughts loud fearing the day when he will encounter Dual again.
