I instantly pierce head of the closest goblin. Just as they become alerted, I send them greeting with.
"Dark bolt!"
Another one less.
Second and Third make short work out of their respective goblins.
I leave them and start pushing goblins on the right.
Stab!
"Shkriee!"
As I killed third goblin I see that they started attacking as well.
Fire is everywhere on their side. Goblins are mostly surrounded by Fire walls on buss stop side.
I pressure them from the store side.
Two goblins charge at me, from two my left and right.
"Tricky bastards. Dark bolt." I send the one on the left flying with the Dark bolt while the other one tries to stab me.
Stab...Riiip.
While I keep stabbing the right goblin. Another one sneaks behind my back,
I only managed to move a little. His spear still stabbed me and ripped my clothes open while blood comes from the wound.
Next moment I see Third piercing the goblin from the back.
I look at bus stop.
First is headshooting every goblin who dares to close in.
The amount of enemies is thinning.
"Shkriee! Sharuk!" I hear a screech while goblin leader steps into the battle when he sees his subordinates loosing.
"Sharuk Kih!" He mumbles something and I see two arrows made of ice materializing above him.
They point at me.
"Shrukk!" He shouts and sends them.
My first time being attacked with magic.
Swoosh.
I dodge first arrow of ice stepping to the left.
Slam!
I dodge second arrow barely but as I think about charging I hear sound of bones cracking.
I turn.
"Fuck no!"
Arrow pierces leg of Third making him incapable of standing.
I start running to him as I see 3 goblins circling him and preparing to attack.

"Second protect him! First! Kill those three!" I shout madly.
Next instant arrow flies and kills one of the goblins.
Second attacks the other one.
But the third one closes in.
Third keeps stabbing in the direction of goblin to keep him at bay, but the goblin parries his spear easily and tries to stab him.
He rises his spear and prepares to pierce head of Third!
"Not this time! Dark bolt." I shoot it.
Goblin grins as if he anticipated that. He dodges and prepares again.
But just after I shoot dark bolt I halt and...
I use my spear as javelin and throw it with crazy strength.
Goblin then is impaled on a stake!
Life leaves his body as he drops his spear while his eyes dim.
I now, without any weapon run to Third.
As I want to help carry him to the store safely I see him crawl to the inpaled goblin.
He reaches his hand and I see goblin flesh disintegrating.
"What's going on?"
Skeleton now falls of my spear while it transforms into dust and then flying to the leg of Third and recovering it.
"Incredible." I mutter, so they can recover like that?
Third stands then while swaying to the sides, probably uncomfortable with new leg.
He gathers his shield and spear and runs to fight again while giving me glance.
Seconds then kills goblin that circled Third and joins Third while they work together to kill enemies.
As I think about Third I almost forgot about battlefield behind me.
The instant I turn back I see ice arrow flying towards my face.
I try to dodge, but it grazes my neck. Blood flows as I feel dizzy.
However I try to gather my strength and charge at goblin leader.

"Skhkriehehehe." Goblin leader laughs seeing me wounded, but starts retreating behind two of goblins protecting him as I charge.
The fight continues as I managed to kill one of the goblins with difficulty while the other one attacks me with support from goblin leader.
I dodge another ice arrow while stabbing goblin straight trough the eye.
Goblin leader tries to retreat again but I send him my greeting.
"Dark bolt!" He dodges but it buys me time to close in to him.
"Shkriesh!" He looks furious and tries to hit me wirh his wand.
I dodge as he attacks with ice arrow again.
I duck and it flies behind somewhere and he starts again.
But after second arrow shooting at me he looks dead tired.
"Too much spells huh? Eat this!" As he fails to concentrate due to fatigue I try to pierce him with my recovered spear.
"Shkrie!" He shouts and just in time my spears lands it pierces goblin who leapt to save him.
"Not this time fucker!" I push trough body of that goblin and pierce second time into chest of goblin leader!
"Shkrie..e?" He looks dumbfounded that I did it as his life flies away.
Level up!
I'm level 9 now, good.
I wipe my swat with arm as I observe those three situation.
"All enemies already dead? Magic sure is powerful."
I walk to them as they jump off the roof.
"So did you level up perhaps?" I ask.
"Yeah, we are both level 6 now."
"Good." I look at First and he too leveled.

Yet all is not well beneath the surface. The Archon’s health is waning, while the House of Mercan appears on the verge of conflict. Both princes vie for the Archonship, with the aristocracy close behind looking to settle old scores. In the immediate west the Althai Federation is in a state of civil war, the conflict spilling over the border into the League, while nobles’ squabble over petty slights. In this time of growing conflict, the Archon has summoned the warlord of the southern frontier, bulwark against the horrors of the dark forest, and former Grand Scholar of the court. Behind the scenes pieces are in play, and the Scholar possesses numerous enemies, many still envious of his meteoric rise to power. A simple trip to the capital may be more than it appears. However, the branches of fate are fickle things, a single encounter could change the course of history. Or perhaps that is simply the will of fate, and nothing has changed at all, who could know? First, she has to beat some sense into him for betraying his own beliefs. Accompany her as she survives in a dangerous world, a world that has secrets even the gods don't know about. __________________________________________ Warning!!The second half of "The Wave 07: The System" and the first half of "The Wave 08: Heroes and Knights" contain a lot of exposition that most other stories would consider "secrets of the world" that those stories would uncover over the course of a long time. There are two reasons this is revealed so early and directly. One: Not revealing that information quickly and not asking questions about it would be completely OoC for the characters involved in that scene. Two: It's information you, the reader, need to know before the main story can really get started. Namely, the "secrets not even the gods know about".

I Need Time
An action, adventure, mystery and strategy story about a strong male lead. Author note: First time author, good amount of buffer chapters (over 50k words) so I will not drop this book anytime soon. This book will mostly be from the perspective of the MC. On average +5k words will be published per week. I have not chosen some of the genres and tags as I do not wish to give away parts of the story. I added the content warning tags as there will come a time for profanities, gore and maybe "traumatising" content. Though, in my opinion the content will be mild if not light. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER***** Synopsis: A college ICT student transmigrates to another world filled with magic and learns magic from a dragon. MC uses modern knowledge to develop magitech technology. MC starts his adventure using the technology he develops! Saving princesses, fighting hidden criminal organizations, learning how horribly medieval peasants live, reasoning with uneducated narrow minded people, investigating the nature of magic and searching for gods... Story review: A fantasy/sci-fi story filled with some common cliches yet presents somewhat original ideas and a few unexpected twists & turns here and there. This novel also explores a few of the commonly ignored topics concerning medieval fantasy like hygiene, culture, education(ignorance, narrow mindedness) and the fact that everybody is short because magical crops cost too much. Modern knowledge in such a setting can often times revolutionize the world if the protagonist is not an idiot or weak willed or thinks something stupid like he should not intervene in a society that systematically practices unequality of opportunity, slavery and other nasty things, of course sometimes the protagonist can be just unlucky by being enslaved, etc. In our case we are granted a protagonist who had an initial stroke of luck, learning magic from a dragon instead of struggling for years without it or randomly dieing. After that his luck goes down the drain. It is arguable whether the princess is a good stroke of luck or not, I digress. Anyway the challenges the protagonist must face will grow and no more luck or helping hands. After gaining enough power and security the protagonist will change the world for the better or at least give it a stronge push onto the right track. He will make a lot of lives better but things are never so simple and there is much more to this world than meets the eye... Missing genres & tags: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Magic. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER*****
