《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 22

Over the next few months, Zaraf kept on training with the girls and Dixie who joined them from time to time. He has managed to raise to the peak of rank three as a magus and soon rank four warrior. As for things happening in his life, his sculptors now sell for a million or more in gold most of the time. He is considered one of two rising stars in the art world alongside Linley Baurch.
The other boy was a nine year old dirty blonde haired boy, who also studies at the Ernst Institution. Delia and Lily have both seen him as he takes their wind class and spent most of the time training. From what he learned he also has talent in fire and earth but isn’t in either of these classes. However, he has the same training method as himself when training as an earth mage.
As for Lily, she has regrown into her nine year old self again same as him and looked six again. Well it doesn’t really bother her or him, as there wasn’t much changed since they only shrunk about five inches. In the DragonBall universe they were around the time for a growth spurt, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Anyways, Lily has made great progress as she a high rank three magus and peak three warrior. She hasn’t made a breakthrough as a rank four warrior either but could feel she closes. As for what was happening outside of training, she is considered one of the top five beauties among the younger boys. However those boys also learned not to harass her or get leechy thoughts as they want to be in one piece.
Also, her roommates got used to finding Zaraf and her sleeping in her bed and he not there it would be surprising. They didn’t worry about the two getting into trouble due to their age, and neither did the school when they were summoned. A group of girls summoned a teacher when they saw him entering or leaving the dorm at weird hours.
Towa on the other hand made great progress as a magus as she recently broke through as a rank four magus yesterday. However, she was only a mid rank three warrior as she focused on the magus path more recently. As for her life outside of training, it studying all types of spells and rituals. She says she wants to be prepared for whatever life could throw at them.
Finally, Delia the newest member of the trio’s group who managed to slip without him noticing. Zaraf wondered why she would follow Lily’s lead as she was shy for the most part around him. Anyways onto her progress, she managed to become a mid rank three wind magus recently and peak rank two warrior.
Dixie was a genius in his own right as he became a mid rank four lightning magus recently and a low rank two warrior. He would make his goal to join them for training once or twice a week to work on fighting skills. When he learned that rank doesn’t mean a thing in front of experience, he would spar with Zaraf for a couple of hours.
Alice the girls other roommate, shook her head and pretend that he wasn’t there or existed inside their dorm. She hasn’t made the greatest progress as she was only a peak rank four magus and fifteen years old. Her progress isn’t the greatest as she more gifted towards a warrior, as she rank five warrior. Why she wants to become a mage he doesn’t know or care as she developed a superior attitude to him.

It was a random as one day he showed up to meet the girls for lunch and she began acting high and mighty. From what he knows, she gotten a boyfriend that was also a somewhat wealthy noble. Shaking his head he actually wondered what the noble boy was thinking, but tossed the thoughts aside.
“What are the plans today?” Lily asked as her and the other two girls exited their dorm.
“Well, besides our day off of training today, I thought we could go shopping.” He shrugged as he didn’t really mind girls shopping much. They enjoy it and that is what makes him happy alongside the space rings that help carry their bags.
“Hmm, that is acceptable since they don’t have much entertainment here beside a couple visual arts. Thoses get old fast, and so does shopping as most stores sell much of the same stuff.” Towa shrugged not caring as a smile formed.
“Why are we taking a day off from training when we are so close to a breakthrough.” Delia sighed as she asked this question multiple times before. It usually appeared before she breakthrough in a minor thing such as mid, high, or peak within her current rank.
“We need to rest as well, since we aren’t machines that can train twenty four seven. Our bodies might be able to continue, but our minds can’t yet. Sure we can go days without sleep without a problem, but we can still get mentaly tired pretty fast.” Lily explained shaking her head.
Towa just shook her head as this conversation happens every single time they rested. It was more of a game at this point, as she just chatted with him as the other two did the roles. By the time they arrived at the restaurant, Lily and Deli completed their ritual and were smiling.
A small shiver went down Zaraf’s spine as he spotted the two girls smile as they must have a surprise in store for him. He only knows that it will happen after shopping today but that about it as he gotten better at predicting the future. Well, more his instincts have gotten better as the two given him a lot of practice lately.
“So, did you hear Linley Baruch fought Rodie about one of the class beauties?” the group heard as a pair walked by them.
“Yeah, and told that if they want to fight then fight it out at the yearly tournament.” they heard before the two left the groups hearing.
“A yearly tournament, might be fun to check out.” Zaraf side earning a sigh from the girl trio.
They know he could probably fight above his rank in hand to hand as most warriors rely on either a few battle qi moves or weapons. So take away their weapons and they lose most of their usage in a fight. Well that is what they observed of the lower ranks since they haven’t seen higher ranks fighting.
As for fighting magus, well they are doomed once he gets close as most don’t usually train in a weapon until later. They are so focused on casting spells or using flashy moves that their magic usually lacks strength. As for their bodies, they rely on their magic to save them and don’t train them making them more of a glass cannon.
“Shall we asked so we can go to the mountain range and fight some magical beasts in a few months?” Lily asked.
“Hmm, maybe as it would give us more opponents to fight and possibly eat.” Zaraf said as he wiped away the drool. “Though we may need to slow down as we are only eight or nine and I doubt they would allow us.”

Nodding in understanding, the girls thought as they heard that the mountain range was dangerous. So why would they allow them to enter at such a young age and dying wasting one of the most talented that ever joined.
“So, we need to train and just graduate early than. I think we need to be rank six magus for that.” Towa said.
“Hmm, so we either train to rank six or wait until we are twelve to ask permission from the school.” Delia said.
Nodding as that seems to be the case since he estimate a half a year minimum from the time he breaks into the fourth rank to fifth rank. Since he also wants to bring along everyone else more time was needed. So, it could be very well when they are twelve before they leave if they train hard.
“Well, we just need to train hard tomorrow, now let eat and go shopping.” He said, as all the males in the restaurant sent him a gaze of pity.
For the rest of the day, he followed the girls around to most of the shops as they either window shop or found something interesting. Tossing most of their stuff either into their space rings or his, he enjoyed the walk. It would have only been better if they weren’t followed by a boy in red hair though.
“What do you want?” Zaraf asked with a hint of coldness.
“I want you to stay away from Delia,” the boy arrogantly said.
“Who gave you permission who can be around her?” Zaraf asked boredly as he noticed the boy only a low rank two magus.
“She is going to be my future wife as she can only be next to the greatest.” The boy arrogantly proclaimed.
Bam!
Zaraf smashed the boy into the ground and walked away leaving the boy with a concussion. He doesn’t have time to listen to idiots that view girls as trophies. If Lily heard him she would have broken both his arms and legs. So it was lucky for the boy that the girls were in a shop.
For the rest of the day, he enjoyed their outing as he dropped them off at their dorm before heading off to his own. He was sure or pretty close of breaking into rank four magus tonight even if he only meditating. The next morning he found him infinity closer to breaking though and will likely breakthrough today.
However, he noticed that Dixie recently made an improvement and could only shake his head. The boy really needs to allow his mind to rest if anything. Until he reaches saint rank he needs to allow his mind to rest so he can make more improvements faster. He could only sigh in relief the boy not being counter productive at the moment from training twenty three seven.
Heading towards Lily’s dorm he whistles as he knocked on their door. After a few minutes a new girl appeared and scowled at him before slamming the door. Confused on what happened he knocked again, only for the same girl to answer.
“What do you want, boy,” she said in a disgusted tone.
Confused on what happening Zaraf wondered why a woman looking eleven looked at him like he killed her family. She has long red hair and eyes with deathly pale skin with a magus rank 3 and warrior rank of two.
“I’m here for Lily, Towa, and Delia, but who are you, girl.” he replied in an ice cold voice voice at the end.
“Girls, Zaraf here, lets go and leave the grouch alone.” Lily called when she saw him at the door.
“Ok,” two voice called from their room.
After waiting a few minutes, the three exited leaving behind the girl.
“Who was that?” He asked as they neared their training area.
“That was a new girl, Lyana. Alice moved out and in with her fiance and childhood friend yesterday. Anyways she for some reason hates the entire male gender, as if they were a disease. When we returned last night she attempted to control the entire dorm room.” Lily ranted with an evil smile.
“Yeah, before you slammed her into the ground and started dislocating joints till she gave up.” Towa commented.
Rolling his eyes at them, Zaraf decided to ignore her if he ever see her. Why should he attempted to befriend her if she hates his gender. That more of an issue someone else should do as he couldn’t careless. Only if Lily asked him to put effort of befriending her he will other than that he just treat her as air.
“Well, let get training?” Delia said as fire lit in her eyes.
Smiling as he stood in front of a bolder, he decided to carve his super saiyan form with his sage mode. Grabbing onto the feelings of pride, dominance, and invincible, he began carving his form with a fist in the air. He looked as if his was standing on a mountain of his enemies after a long gruesome battle. Though he made himself into an adult for the statue as it was difficult to imagine his current form.
Finishing his final touches, he smiled as it was infinite closer to the masterpiece level. He missed a small detail on the dominance feeling so it failed to become a masterpiece. However it did allow him to become a rank four magus, unlocking super saiyan form. The connection to the form returned and he feels he can activate it, but needs time to train the form.
Nodding to the statue, he quickly stored it away before beginning his warrior training. Increasing the gravity on his body, he began doing his daily workout. The girls were doing a mixture as Delia was doing warrior training, while Lily did magus. Towa on the other hand was training both as she was testing one of her theories.
He continued to train for two hours under the intense gravity causing his legs and arms to feel like fire. Sitting down, he began pulling in the tiniest amount of natural ki he could without exploding and spread it throughout his system. Even with the tiniest amount it was almost to much but it did heal up his body and push his strength up to nearly mid rank four.
Feeling refreshed and happy due to his improvements, he felt like continuing only the sun was sitting. Disappointed in sun as it decided to set on him, he ended today's training walking the girls back. Watching them go inside, ignored the new girl scowl towards him ashe didn’t care. If she attempted to attack him, he would end her simple as that.
Walking back to his dorm, he wondered what the near future holds as it boring training the same way everyday. To truly grow they needed to fight, but none of the students could offer them a challenge. Thoughts of looking at the rules were in order to see if he can find a loophole allowing them to magical mountain sooner.
Entering his dorm, he entered the kitchen and began to cook as Dixie didn’t come back yet. He was with his master, and wouldn’t be back until tomorrow. So, cooking his meal he began thinking he would pick up his money from the art exhibition. His latest sculptor he gave them should have been sold by now.
Finishing his meal and cleaning, he decided to meditate for the night. His thoughts began to wonder how he going to sleep now as a girl thinks she should end his existence. It wasn’t like he did anything either, but it’s more because of his gender. Sighing as he began his practicing and ending today.
The next morning he cleaned himself and left in the direction of the girls. It became a routine that thoses who woke up early greeted him. Knocking on the door, Lily was the one to answer and hugged him. From inside he could that there was a fight and she wasn’t happy.
“What happened?” He asked as he walked in.
When he looked into the kitchen he found Delia and Towa glaring at Lyana who was tied up. From the murderous look she must have tried something to them.
“She tried to bite us and turn us into servant again. So we had a fight last night shortly after you left, which ended quickly. Anyways she can fight a rank above her, but only barely.” Lily explained.
“So any plans for her?” He asked curiously.
“Since she seems to want a servant, she is going to become one.” Lily flashed an evil grin.
“For who?” He asked as he figured she has Towa or Delia.
“You, since she hates males than she must serve one.” She said poking his finger for a drop of blood. She dropped it on a scroll before it flashed into a blinding light.
Lyana who was glaring also started light before calming down. “Master,” she said almost as if growling.
“Huh?” was all he managed to say.
