《Dragon Ball: Terror of the Gods》Chapter 32

Over the next week nothing major happened to Zaraf or Lily and the girls beside training and managing the business. However for all those that live in the Holy Union, it would be remembered as a nightmare if they lived.
For the citizen of the Holy Union and Ernst Institute the day of celebration began great as cheers line the streets. The smiles filled the cities and villages across as if a frown was illegal. However that soon changed as the first scream soon followed by a blood curdling screech.
Beasts of all shapes and sizes ran through the streets and through building slaughter all they can. Men, women, children, it didn’t matter as claws and razor sharp teeth found there way of tearing through bodies. The city guards fell, as well as any magus or warrior that got in their way no matter what rank or how strength they were.
Within hours cities and villages fell expanding the magical beast domain. What was known as the Holy Union soon fell within hours. It would become known as Apocalypse day for years to come.
=========================================================
Sitting around their breakfast table, Lily was finishing up breakfast as Delia and Lyana looked over their emergency reports. They appeared early this morning telling about the fall of their business what was known as Holy Union.
“Well, you were right Zaraf. The magical beasts got a king that led a beast wave to conquer the fallen Holy Union.” Delia said as she finished the report.
“One had to appear at some point as it doesn’t make sense that anything that can think want to stay on a mountain forever.” Zaraf shrugged.
“Zaraf, I was wondering when we can go back home?” Lily asked.
“Back where?” Delia asked confused as they were home.
As she knew they were orphans and Towa has a brother but they never really talked about their home. She just assumed that they didn’t have one or didn’t want to talk about it as if they had a bad memories.
Lyana pretended to be uninterested keeping her blank face. Zero emotion was shown through except her eyes switched between the three.
“Why?” Zaraf asked curious the sudden interest in returning.
“Well, after becoming a saint rank, it doesn’t really do us much good to continue learning the profound laws. They don’t work the same in there so it kind of pointless.” Lily explained.
“What are you talking about?” Delia asked again.
“They are talking about going back to our universe.” Towa said with a shrug.
“Universe?” Lyana asked confused.
“There are an infinite number of universe and multiverse with parallel worlds of thoses. We transferred from one of those. It was in order to train and gain strength as Zaraf managed to annoy the omni king of that universe.” Towa explained making Delia and Lyana blink while Zaraf and Lily stared at Towa.
She began to explain their secret they weren’t ready to explain, though Lily started it by asking.
“How did he manage to do that?” Lyana asked interested as it sounded impressive.
“By nearly killing the plane seven god of destruction. Not through brute strength as the god of destruction wasn’t serious and playing around. As for how he did it, well only he knows and someone called Lucifer.” Towa finished up the small explanation.
Nodding at the thought, Delia began wondering how they were when that happened. She knew since they were eight and that was nearly ten years ago.
“How old are you?” Delia asked slightly worried.
Advertisement
“We were twelve when it happened and when we came here we regressed four years in age.” Lily sighed as she answered.
“Oh,” was all Delia had left on the topic. “Is it possible to come back?”
“Yes, it won’t be that hard since we are already here.” Zaraf said.
“Than can we come along?” Lyana asked.
Thinking about their request, Zaraf didn’t really have a problem with it and they are going to have three months to adjust them to the universe. The time difference is only going to make it like a few minutes since they left.
The question remains when do they leave? If so, do they leave something behind or create demigod clones before going. None of them are close to creating one as he only started learning the learning and none of the girls are getting close either.
“When do you want to leave? What about the business and everything else?” Zaraf asked as he thought of giving someone their company was a bad idea. Handing a business that could destroy everyone else wasn’t a great idea as empires could fall easily.
“I was thinking soon as there not much to do.” Lily replied.
“What about your school?” Zaraf asked.
“Hmm, I thought about it but we have never been to one and Ernst Institute isn’t really a role model to follow.” Lily explained. “So, I decided to scrap the idea for now.”
“Mmm, as long as you're happy and it not like we can’t make it later.” Zaraf said.
==============================================================
A month flew by as Lily and the other began setting everything to leave and transferring the company to Delia brother and a few of his friends. Signed a few deals with Dawson Conglomerate. They agreed not to attempt to buy or destroy them out unless certain agreement are breached.
They spent a week saying by to some of their friends they made in business and packed ready to leave. Standing out in their yard, the five gather around, with their storage rings filled full of supplies and metals.
“Are you ready.” Zaraf asked.
“Yep,” Lily said as they other nodded.
“Than let's get going.” Zaraf said opening his system and vanished from the spots with them.
=================================================================
Appearing in the ship they left years ago to them, but not much time passed. Looking himself over, Zaraf found himself and Lily back into their twelve years old bodies again. Delia and Lyana appeared to be around fourteen so they regressed three years.
“Well this is interesting.” Zaraf smiled a sad smile as it confusing to go from a seventeen year old body back to twelve.
“Oh, how is it perfect? We are back in our younger bodies, so the sexy underwear I bought is useless.” Lily pouted making the rest look at them.
“Umm, Lily you don’t wear clothes to bed.” Towa replied as she and the other two girls caught a free show from time to time. Delia and Lyana rolled their eyes as they are long used to their friend antics and walking around the house usually with barely a thread.
At least Zaraf would put on a pair of shorts which they thank him profoundly. They could somewhat tolerate their friend, but if another and a male did it also. Well they would have either lose focus or stare at him blushing every time.
They might have gotten used to it over time, but they were raised in a society where they should only see one male naked. That male usually their husband, unless they work the streets or brothels which none of them did.

“Well, having a little show is more exciting as I slowly remove or tease than appear naked. We have been with each other since day one and barely wore a thread until we were four or five. So, it a little less impressive to just appear naked isn’t.” Lily said.
Thinking about it now, the silver box that Luna left them still had some messages left on them. Neither of he or Lily brought it to the other universe so, they have to await their birthday to watch it.
“Ok, let stop this topic for the moment as it sounds as if you had plans in the very near future to jump him.” Delia said.
Lily stayed silent which answered her question until her next words made nearly them all blush. “Well not anytime soon, again. Saiyans can’t really do it until we are eighteenish, as the growth spurt allow females to safely deliver if they get pregnant. Not that we are anywhere near ready to be parents though, as we don’t even have a planet to call home.”
“Than why do you need to wait?” Lyana asked since it made little sense to her.
“Umm, you know Saiyans stay young and have growth spurts which we would rapidly grow. Well, our hormones and biology doesn’t really work until we are eighteen. Mentally we can be ready as eleven, but physically we can’t perform as the drive to battle overwhelms us. It also used to sort out the weak so only the strong genes carried on.” Lily decided to give an impromptu saiyan biology lesson.
Zaraf was sure he heard bits of it and thought he remembered things differently. Either Lily was dishing out the wrong information on accident or on purpose. Either way he doesn’t want to interrupt as he wanted to get reordiated with the ship.
Leaving the girls, Zaraf walked around and look at the destination. Namek the home of the namekians which they were visiting the grand elder. If his memory not failing than they were going to ask him to release their potential.
Can he even release our potential any more? Zaraf thought as he looked at his status screen.
==============================
[Name: Zeref (Zero)
Age: Twelve years old
Bloodline: Ancient Saiyan (90%) Elite Saiyan (10%)
Battle Power: 99,500,000 (0)
Multiverse Points: 300,900
==============================
The final ten percent won’t change as it would force him into a giant Oozaru form until he shrinks it down again. Only this time he won’t be able to exit the form and have fur covering most of him. If Zaraf looked at Lily’s genetic code it would be in a similar state not that she knew it.
He neary have a power level of hundred million which is the turning point of their Ki. It would start compacting itself as well as removing it own impurity transforming into Divine Ki. The first block of the Alpha part on the genetic limiter is nearly ready to break also.
Hmm, I know I had a theory of Ki and how it works, though I can see some errors in it. I thought it required more ki before it became divine ki. Now I see it didn’t really matter as we literally destroy planets with powerlevel of a couple thousand. Zaraf thought as he began looking through information on Frieza.
After they visit Namek they were going to end Frieza rein and get their revenge of destroying their planet. Sure, Saiyans weren’t the best or the nicest in the universe due to being a warrior race. They craved battle, but not all of them were battle gifted as some was more gifted in engineering or craftsman.
Sigh, I think I am confusing the history and life of saiyans or what were the saiyans. Zaraf mentally sighed as many thoughts ran through his mind. Lets just work on theory of achieving super saiyan two for now.
================================================================
While Zaraf was sighing to himself with all his thoughts and Lily was complaining about the age and size of her body. Her biggest complaint was her assets need to regrow again as they were around C upon leaving. Though they barely were there it was her pride as a woman.
Back in the time nest, Chronoa frowned as she felt the time shifted around Zaraf, Lyana, and Towa as it happened in the area she left them. She could feel their massive power increase and slightly worried that something happened to them to allow it to happen. Only, she couldn’t interfere or make contact until they do it first again.
“Please be safe you three.” Chronona mumbled sadly.
=================================================================
Back on the ship, Lily and Towa was teaching Delia and Lyana to control and suppress their Ki. Flying through space with ki of nearly 99,000,000 wasn’t the brightest idea. It was like a trouble magnet and both could easily destroy the ship if they aren’t careful.
The two of them easily picked up the ki suppressing as it was similar to gathering mage force. As for the controlling and firing off energy blast, well that was put on hold as there no room to practice. One wrong move and they could end up in a fiery explosion and floating around space.
There was little doubt that they could survive the explosion if they projected their energy out but they would most likely die afterwards. The distance between planets were to large and they started off wasn’t an option.
So it wasn’t surprising that neither Lily or Towa allowed any ki projecting or blast. However, one thing they all had in common was the need to adjust their Ki control. It has been years for them since they could manipulate their energy with more freedom than in the other universe.
The thought of increasing the gravity didn’t cross any of the four mind and Zaraf didn’t really care. He was thinking none of them would be affected by gravity as it simply didn’t go high enough. The ability to increase the gravity around him costed too much Ki to serve in training so the trick he learned with the profound laws were out.
After allowing both Delia and Lyana the ability to control their ki to the basic degree, Towa began explaining all the technology. Lily only frowned as she didn’t have a camera to capture their expressions to show Zaraf later.
====================================================================
Months flew by as the five of them adjusted and lived on the ship. Surprising it was Zaraf who was having a hard time adjusting to living on board. The option to go out and spend the day in the sun and away from the girl time of the month. Well it was gone and the option of being saint rank to remove day was gone. It led to a miserable time to him which the only saving grace was the girls locked themselves away in a room.
There reasoning was even with the four on one they would still loses if fist were brought into it. His weird luck plus his power combined would win him the battle before it began. Since he also not in the habit of having mercy, they rather not be black and blue covered in bruises.
So during those days he would anything he could find on the console of the ship. He even managed to improve his ship repairing theories. The last time he actually learned on the subject was when he was three. So he enjoyed himself as it was another connection to Luna, even if it took awhile to rediscover it.
So finally after a long three months, the target planet has entered his sights, he smiled at the large green planet. The sight was most welcomed and now the worrying part was what was going to happen. Would the peaceful Namekains welcome them or fight them?
“We are finally there,” Lily shouted in joy.
“Yeah,” Towa replied.
“Finally room to stretch our legs,” Delia said.
“When we return to Earth, I vote not leaving for awhile. We need to curb our nomad habits sooner or later.” Lily said.
“I suppose so, but what about all the space tyrant and wonderful battles?” Zaraf asked earning a piercing glare.
“If you wait ten years than we can discuss this.” Lily said ending the conversation there.
Thinking about it, ten years would put them around the saiyan saga Zaraf thought. He didn’t really see any issue with that as beating up the prince of saiyan sounds interesting. However if the prince got any funny ideas about Lily, even if he was important for later he will have a painful existent.
“Now we just have to find where the leader is after landing.” Zaraf said as they watched as they prepared to enter the atmosphere.

Sword System Academia
2/17 NOTICE: I'm putting this on hiatus, possibly permanently. I didn't want to spam with an "update chapter", so hopefully here and in the story blurb will get enough eyeballs. There are a couple reasons for ending SSA for now. 1) I wrote the next chapter but wasn't happy with it. I've been less and less satisfied with SSA's quality the more I thought about it. Part of the reason is... 2) I am seriously thinking about trying to publish some novels to help pay the bills, since I don't have my other source of income anymore. I have never asked for anything from SSA readers, no money, not even a review or rating. SSA is written for fun to amuse myself, primarily, and I would kind of feel bad actually charging someone money for something as unserious as that. I don't think it is good enough to ask anything in return. To use an analogy from music, SSA is more like a jam session with a bunch of friends. You're just chiling and having fun playing some music. I mean, if you are Mozart or even Eminem, your jam session is good enough to sell, but for an amateur beginner like myself, haha, no. If I want to publish something, I feel like I need to go the proper route of practice and rehearsals, which might be more similar to a classical concert performance. With SSA, I work from worldbuilding notes and a loose outline, but what you are essentially getting is the first draft with lots of so-called pantsing. Pushing out a web novel like this also means it is very difficult to go back and improve things without breaking everything else downstream. I wanted to try this "jamming" approach, as it was a good way to teach me about another aspect of writing, but to move forward, I think I need to hone my "classical" techniques, which emphasize rewriting, or at least, revising outlines. 3) While I intend to try to make $$$, my actual current goal is to "get gud". I've spent a lot of time recently trying to understand the self-publishing industry, and I'm pretty sure I can make some money by using short-term strategies with my current amateur skill level. But I've seen too many authors come and go/burnout, and really, the only way that I think I can enjoy writing and still make money on a long-term basis is to become a better writer. And the next step for me, which I haven't done much before, is to spend more time on rewriting and outlines. That is pretty much antithetical to the way SSA is developing. I've always been kind of 20/80 plotting/pantsing, but I want to spend a lot more time outlining before I even start writing. SSA jam sessions don't really fit my goal anymore. If you're curious about what's next, read on... Among other regrets, I regret not finishing SSA. It's the first story I've dropped, but then again, it's the first web novel I've attempted, so I suppose that's not a surprise. I don't think traditional web novel formats suit me that well. The whole SSA story I had loosely planned (beyond a first book or major arc) is way too large as well. Big story = good for neverending webnovel with Patreons, bad for penniless and fickle writer like me. I am currently outlining a complete trilogy to another story in great detail. I want the story to end concisely, and I also want the chance to really spend a lot of time on the full outline to spot pacing problems, character issues, lost themes, and so on. I'll still share this story on RR. What I intend to do is finish book 1, flash-publish the whole thing here for a few weeks, then publish on the big Zon. Repeat for books 2 and 3. The upcoming story will be about crafting heroes. The backdrop is an isekai-like setting, where elves will summon humans to their world as heroes, but the whole hero crafting business is still in its infancy. The elven mage researchers are figuring out how to imbue heroes with power, while the heroes are trying to figure out how to use the powers that they gain. Humans are the best hero templates because they are blank and have no intrinsic magic. Or at least that what the elves thought. The human MC has his own secrets... There will be some similarities with litrpgs, but I would call it more a progression fantasy or gamelit story. For example, the stats are very low, at least initially. Say we have a stat called Str. Going from Str = 1 to Str = 2 is a huge deal. Also, going from Dex = 0 to Dex = 1 is an even bigger deal. I guess you could call it a "low-stat litrpg", haha. Also, the heroes won't be gaining stats simply by killing things or leveling up. You can't increase stats arbitrarily, either. There will be rules to how stats can increase, and how they work with each other. The elven mages will be figuring out these rules in order to craft stronger and stronger heroes. Some inspiration will be from cultivation magic systems, but there won't be overt cultivation, at least for now. A theme I really want to explore is the idea of interactions. That includes things like hero crafter vs hero, tactics vs strategy, skill synergies, racial interactions (dwarves, elves, etc), and son. Yeah, so hero crafting. I'm super excited about this project and venturing into publishing. If you want to check out the upcoming story, you can follow my RR author profile to see when it drops here. Finally... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! I'm very sorry that SSA is stopping, but I hope at least some of you will find the next story at least as enjoyable, if not more. Thanks to all the readers who gave SSA a shot. Big hug or solid fistbump to all of you, whichever you prefer! I hope this message is not a downer but an upper, because I am psyched!! -purlcray -------------- BLURB: Talen, youngest Master of the Koroi, makes his way to the Empire's capital to salvage his clan's fate. But the bustling city has few opportunities for the traditionalist. For the old sword clans are fading. With the rise of alchemy, gold can purchase strength that ordinarily took years of training to cultivate. Sword artists, once rare and accomplished, are quickly growing in number, especially among the wealthy noble class. Even with such alchemy, though, no one has advanced to the rank of Grandmaster in countless years. Talen's true dream is to walk the path of a sword artist to the very end while fulfilling his clan duties. And then the Swordgeists return, fabled founders of all sword arts, gods who had touched the world long ago and vanished. These myths turned into reality warn of a coming threat. Alongside this warning, they issue an invitation to the Sword System Academy, a path to power beyond the mortal realm. But first, they will hold an entrance exam... Story notes:Sword System Academia blends elements of western and asian fantasy such as xianxia and litrpg. I took parts from different genres I enjoyed and twisted them into my own creation. There will be an explicit system, both of the litrpg kind and the hard(ish) magic kind, but it is embedded within an academic structure that will develop over the course of the story. This is my attempt to design a unique type of system, the System Academia.
