As we turned to leave, I had an idea. "Just a second" I say to Grace. Walking over to the planters lining the walls of the green room I start to pluck the plants out of their pots. "What are you doing?" Grace asks me with a strange look on her face. "Gathering ingredients, hopefully I can use them to make something useful." I say to her continuing to pluck the plants.

Having picked all the plants I went torwards the cabinet and Got out a Herbology book. Storing the plants and the book away in my inventory, I turn and start walking torwards the door. "Come on Grace" I say as I walk towards the door. "Unh" she nods as she follows me. As we reach the bathroom door I turn torwards Grace "You Go inside I'll be back in a little while" I say as she opens the door. "Where are you going?" She asks. "I'm going to go get some brewing equipment from the botany lab" I say to her without turning back.

Walking forwards I enter the Botany Lab, before getting some equipment out of the cabinet behind the teacher's desk. Taking the skinned goblin corpses out of my inventory I start disassembling the rest of the last of the bodies. Having completely disassembled the bodies I seperate the items that have use to me from the ones that don't. Picking up the meat and other useless by-products I take them and throw them in the trash can. Looking over at the rest of the items I seperate them based on what they're used for and look at the alchemy ingredients piled before me.

As I read through the effects of the list of ingredients I pull out 2 hot plates, a bottle of water, and 2 pots. Plugging the hotplates into the wall I set the pots on top of them and dump half a bottle of water into each of them. Pulling out the: Shadow Goblin's Blood, Frenzied Goblin's Blood, Passion Flowers, the Shadow Goblin's liver, One of the Shadow Goblin's Eyes, and the Shadow Goblin's Heart I seperate them into two piles one has: the blood and flowers, and the other has the heart, liver, and the eye. Taking the heart aside I cut it in half and dice one half of it as finely as I can manage, before lifting up the pieces dropping them into one of the pots. Next I take one bottle of each type of blood, and dump a fith of each of them into the other pot. Picking up two of the passion flowers I set them up next to each other on the desk and dice them as finely as I can and then pick them up and put them into the pot with the blood. Having finished preparing all the ingredients for the "Weak Regenerative Paralytic Poison" I take the Shadow Goblin Liver and cut it in half as well before finely dicing it and dumping it into the pot with the heart. Taking the Shadow Goblin's eye I hold it over the pot and squeeze out the insides into the pot. Taking out a third hotplate and plugging it in I cut the crushed eyeball into strips and layed them onto it to try and dry them out. Turning away from the third hotplate I pick up a stirring spoon and start to stir the pot of blood to keep it from getting too thick. Setting the stirring spoon back down I take out an empty bottle and a funnel and place the funnel into the bottle. Turning off the third hotplate and taking the now dry strips of goblin eye I crumble them over the pot containing the heart, liver, and eye juice. Turning back to the pot of blood I look at the thickened and reduced liquid inside it before I pick it up and poor it into the bottle.

Having realised I ran out of bottles I store the potions in my inventory and walk out the door to search the lockers in the hall only to find a goblin beating on the door of the bathroom with it's axe. Stopping for a moment in suprise I fail to pull my bow out of my inventory until it turns towards me. As it rushes at me I pull my bow out of my inventory and fumble for an arrow. Seeing that I wasn't gonna make it in time I jump out of the way to avoid the swing of it's axe. Rolling to my feet I draw back an arrow and launch it torwards the goblin as it tries to rush me again. Throwing my bow back into my inventory and pulling out my "Chipped Stone Hammer", as it dodges my arrow I step to the side and swing my hammer at it's head level. Not noticing my hammer until its to late it runs straight into it.

Flashback Grace's POV Right after Daemon Left

"I wonder what he's doing?" I say as I close and lock the door behind Daemon. Turning around I can't help but to think about the battle earlier causing me to shiver. But at the same time it makes me grin, wondering how he could be so confident fighting against those things, those goblins, which leads to the topic of before we left... I noticed him looking down earlier as he helped me put my armor on earlier, just thinking about it makes me blush a deep shade of crimson, and that kiss... that kiss took me by surprise, but "It wasn't so bad was it?" I say aloud while blushing, "No. No it wasn't."I say to myself quietly.

Finally turning away from the door I start to walk forward, as I walk I start to think and I stop "What am I doing?" I ask myself. Looking around surveying the room I see a splotch of blood on the wall, having nothing else to do I start to clean. Having finished cleaning I look around for something else to do, seeing nothing else to do I say "Ditribute Status Points"

After I finish distributing my Status Points I start to wonder what Daemon is doing again, "Well it can't hurt to check" I say starting to unlock the door. As I open the door to leave I see a goblin armed with an axe standing there in front of me. Barely holding in a scream of terror I slam the door shut. I barely have time to let out a gasp I was holding in before I hear ringing thuds coming from the other side of the door. All of the sudden the thuds stop, before I hear Daemon's voice coming from the other side "Grace let me in."

Daemon's POV

"And that's what happened while you were gone." Grace says as she finishes her story. "I told you I would be awhile" I say lightly berating her. "I'm sorry" she says her eyes starting to tear up. "No I'm sorry I shouldn't have berated you for worrying about me" I say as I step forward to give her a hug. "Are you tired?" I ask her. "Unh" she nods as I take out the sleeping bag and set it onto the floor.To her suprise I pick her up while grinning and slide her into the sleeping bag, before setting her head on my lap and starting to stroke her hair. "I'm gonna leave for a while in a little bit so don't be scared if I'm gone when you wake up" I say as I continue to stroke her hair until she drifts off to sleep.

Gently lifting Grace's head off my lap and sliding out from under her I lean down and kiss her fourhead as I get up to leave. Taking the shield, spears, extra bow, binder, paper, goblin leather, goblin bones, broadswords, hammer, candybars, and extra daggers out of my inventory I set them down against one wall before turning torwards the door and leaving.

Searching through all the lockers in our section of the hall and taking anything useful that I can find this is what I came up with.

Deciding I had done enough for one day I decide to return to the bathroom. As I quietly open the door I see Grace laying there unmoved. Walking over to the wall I open my inventory by saying "Inventory", and store the hotplates, pots, candybars, textbooks, and plants with the others already there, before turning around and sliding into the sleeping bag gently besides Grace as to not wake her up.
