The sight of blood red mist in front of him really gave a dangerous feeling, make people want to avoid from entering it no matter at what cost. But Acma was not like an average youth like the others at his age. Since he was young, he already forced to face innumerable dangerous situations to temper his body and his spirit. Although he have not fully grasped the danger in the new world, he knew that he don’t have other choice but to steel his heart and went through the mist.

“Grrrrrrrrr”,

The great wolf beside him, Silver, gave a low growl while its eyes was looking fiercely at the mist. Then it look at Acma with a pleading eyes. Maybe it wanted to warn Acma about the danger of the mist. Looking at the face of his companion, Acma smiled and said,

“It’s okay Silver, this mist won’t give me any trouble at all. My armour will filter all the poisonous gas from harming me”. He pet the great wolfs head and then unsummon it.

Acma slowly walked forward into the mist. With a single glance he could tell that the mist was poisonous, because the vicinity around the mist was void from any life. Not even a bird dare to fly over the mist.

Inside the mist, Acma noticed that the ground was full of blood red flowers. When his legs touched them, the flowers would release a blood red gas. Since the flowers covered the whole area and the wind was not strong enough to blow the gas, the mist was formed and finally covered the valley.

However, a question pop up inside Acma’s head, if a touch was needed for the flowers to release the gas, why the whole valley was filled with it? Unable to find the answer, Acma readied his sword because something must be lurked inside the mist, something that living co-existent with this poisonous flowers.

Acma walked with a steady steps but careful. His eyes was full of vigilance. His senses was put on the highest level, ready to intercept anything that may attacked him.

After half an hour walking inside the mist, there still no attack. But Acma still keeping his guard up.

Suddenly, he sense several sets of movement nearby. The mist was too thick that he couldn’t even see further than 5 meters from his feet, so he had to depend on his hearing. From the sounds, he knew that he was already surrounded. He stop all his movements and stood straight.

He could only hope that the enemies won’t attack him simultaneously, so he would be able to intercept every attack that came one by one. When the enemies was closed enough, only then he could see the panel on their head.

Blood Lizard LVL 35

“So, it was a lizards. Most likely that they were poisonous. Must not get bitten”, he thought. Acma felt relieved when he saw the panel on the lizards head. Because through it, he could determined the range and the timing of the attack.

“Bring it on, lizards”, he shouted loudly and began to run towards the lizards on his right. Meanwhile he release several wind blades. When the lizards was within his range, he slashed downward at the center of the panel. He believe, below the panel was where the lizards head was located.

‘Clank’

Acma couldn’t believe it, the lizards skin was as hard as a rock. A simple slash from his sword couldn’t penetrate their skin. This is the first time he encountered this situation. All his previous prey was easily killed, so this lizards was absolutely abnormal. What made things worst was he couldn’t attack accurately due to the mist. When his first attack failed, Acma retreated several yards away from the lizards.

“This mist is giving me headache. I must do something about it first”, then he start spinning his body and created a gale of wind.

However, only a space about 50 meters around of him was cleared and several Blood Lizards was finally exposed. Their size was about as big as komodo dragon, only their look was scarier. They have two fangs protruding out from their lower jaw, with long tongue occasionally slipping out from their mouth. Maybe their tongue helped them to accurately locating Acma.

Acma doesn’t miss this opportunity and start attacking the lizards. His target was clearly their eyes. He leaped out above their head and quickly stab their eyes.

‘Puchi’

Their eyelids definitely not as hard as the skins. Acma’s sword easily penetrated their skull deep into the brain.

“Finally”, said Acma slowly as he continued killing the lizards within his sight. However, the lizards definitely wouldn’t stay still and get killed, they also began to running and attacking Acma with their jaw wide open. Sometimes they used their front paws and swinging their tail. Acma masterfully dodged their attack and returned it with a kick, stab, slash and thrust. When his kick successfully overturned their bodies, a stab would easily pierced the skin because it was a lot softer compared to the skins on their back.

‘Swish’, ‘Swish’, ‘Swish’, ‘Clank’, ‘Clank’, ‘Puchi’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Swish’, ‘Clank’

The sounds of battle reverberating inside the valley as the blood red mist gradually returned to their original state and obstructing Acma’s vision again.

“Damn, that’s too quick”, cursed Acma. He knew he couldn’t prolong the battle because the situation wasn’t favourable to him. He must escape as fast as possible.

However, would the lizards just let him escape just like that? Definitely not. Their attack gradually became more intense as they were enrage. Maybe because Acma trespassed their territory and killed their members. Acma manage to dodge all the biting attempts but he got slammed by the tails multiple time.

Normal person could get lost easily in this situation, but Acma was careful enough to not losing his bearing, so he made a steady progress through the mist, avoiding as many as possible the lizards that came his way.

It was a difficult battle for Acma. His sight was impaired and his other senses were not working to their fullest. The enemies had almost an impenetrable defence and the master of the region. What keep him going was his higher agility and vast battle experiences.

Acma was running when suddenly;

‘BAMMM’

His body was slammed by a powerful tail, far stronger than the previous tails attack he got before. Acma was sent tumbling for several meters. That attack was the strongest attack he received so far. When he look at his surrounding, the sight startled him.

“The king and his generals has arrived”, said Acma.

He was surrounded by a group of lizards several levels higher than the previous one. Some of them was a green rank and their leader was an elite monster.

Blood Lizard King LVL 48

“Welcome Your Highness to my humble battlefield. I will serve you the finest battle performances. I hope Your Highness will be entertained”, said Acma as he made a welcoming gesture to the lizards king. But in his mind, he was cursing the sudden increase of difficulty levels that was several folds harder than before.

“How do I escape this predicament? Hmmmmm... Lets try Black Hole”

Acma decided to use this spell because he knew that his weapon was definitely useless against his current enemies. To get the best results, he had to herd the lizards into one location before he unleashed his spell.

‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’, ‘Da’

The lizards that surrounded him began to move their heavy legs towards Acma. Without further delay, Acma was sprinting towards the king with many lizards close behind him. When the numbers of lizards that congregated around the king increased to close to two dozens, Acma took some distance and began the process to release the spell. He set his eyes on the panel above the kings head as he slowly raise his left hand forward to add his aim.

‘BLACK HOLE’, he said slowly.
