'You are the 238.478th person to archive a Level up'

Two small red screens appeared in front of Sam.

He totally forgot the scene that happened moments ago and thought about his stat point.

In front of game-like events like a level up and stat point distribution his worry and fear diappeared for now and was replaced with joy and excitement.

Sam still lay on the floor and thought to himself

'Right now was way too close.If i hadn't found the club I would be dead right now....it's fucking bob's fault in the first place.how could he do such a thing???'

He thought about the situation when the zombie was pushed through the door and decided spontaneously that his defense is way too weak.

'I need a better defense...like this i won't be pushed like this the next time!'

Another little screen appeared afterwards

'Stat point allocated'

He tapped the screen and it,alongside the earlier two screens diappeared.

Sam thought of the second message just now and exclaimed "already over 200.000 people leveled up...most likely there are some people who are already level 2 or even 3..."

"I dont know how much a stat point change my chances of survival..I can't feel a change right now.I need a plan,what should I do?...I could go outside to look for other people...no...first of all I will look inside the other apartments and scavenge everything I need."

After making his plan he stood up and gulped down half a bottle of water.That left him with only one bottle.Sam looked at the zombie on the ground and the pool of blood bones and brain.He started to feel nauseous again so he turned around and went to the door.

After the zombie had been pushed in the door closed itself because of the strong recoil so Sam slowly opened the door.He held his breath and listened for any sound coming from the corridor but he heard nothing out of the ordinary.

He looked to the right where the staircase and elevators were located then he looked left where another four apartments including the one of the cornwell couple were located.

After waiting for a few more minutes Sam couldn't hear anything so he closed his apartments door behind him and made his way to the left.

After fleeing their apartment bob or his wife left the door wide open so Sam sneaked inside.

The size and structure was the same as his own.A living room with a small kitchen,a bedroom and a bath.What startled Sam were two bows and six arrows placed on the couch.

Sam closed the door and searched every room quickly afterwards.

"There are no zombies in here"Sam's mind and body relaxed.

He walked over to the couch and picked up one of the bows.

"AH..these must be their starting weapons.Seems like they simply clicked a random class in a hurry...actually I think most of the people did take this first red screen as a joke and simply tapped randomly to get back to reality.

But doesn't that mean I can use these weapons.I mean my class is knight but maybe there are some ways for ranged attacks."

Sam took an arrow from the couch but he couldn't fire it.Somehow his hands didn't do what he wanted them to do.He isn't an expert with bows but it isn't impossible for him to fire an arrow with such a crude bow.

"I can't do it!...that..must be why we had to choose classes.so for me that means one handed weapons and any sort of shields.

By the way!are there some sorts of stats for weapons??"He looked up and down the bow then concentrated on the bowstring.

'So I need to concentrate on the weapon to see its name and stats'

He took an arrow and focused on its tip.

After checking their stats Sam decided to search this apartment and take the useful things back to his own home.

On his way back he listened at the other apartment doors.Two apartments seemed to be empty but the last one had noises of someone or something moving so Sam went back first to drop the loot at his home.

After putting everything aside he inspected his own weapons

"That's what I expected...but how can I get better equipment?" Sam asked himself."For now I should clear this floor.I need to look into the other apartments."
