《World Game》Level 10 Boss

A massive figure entered Sam's line of sight. Around 4 meters tall and 3 meters wide, a gigantic human like creature approached them.
It had two legs, two arms, a torso and the head. Everything except the head looked more or less like body parts of a human, but the head resembled that of a pig. All in all this creature looked disgusting.
Spit and other fluids constantly dripped from the creatures open mouth onto his fat belly.
When it saw Sam it grunted and moved towards him. A club, as big as Sam was swung and continuously destroyed the surrounding trees.
Sam focused on the monster
( Oger- Level 10 Boss )
!!!
" Fuck, it is a Level 10 boss! We have to flee or it will turn us into pools of blood with a swing of its club." Sam shouted and started to run in the direction they had come from. Kain and Bobo quickly followed.
Their group were chased for ten minutes while the distance between them and the oger shortened non stop. The monster lashed out with his club pulverizing a tree next to the group of three.
Wood fragments filled the air cutting the players faces and unprotected body parts. A big piece of wood slammed Kain and Bobo aside knocking them unconscious.
Sam stopped and turned around when he saw that.
' The oger targets me because of my skill, I don't have to worry about him attacking Kain and Bobo. It is too fast for me to run away from and if I hide it might kill Kain and Bobo!
What should I do? I have to think about something or I will surely die!'
Sam was trying to plan an escape, while looking at his companions. The oger stood in front of him and swiped his club sideways a few moments later. Sam readied his tower shield and pressed his feet into the ground. He put all his weight against the shield however, Sam felt like a train had hit his shield, his bones creaked and the shield deformed while Sam was lifted of the ground flying through the forest. He got slammed into a tree 20 meters away slipping to the ground.

His vision grew hazy and he nearly lost consciousness but came back to his senses hearing the oger approaching him. Sam slowly stood up placing his tower shield in front of him.
' I almost died from the impact just now. I am lucky my bones didn't break but it will be my end if I get hit one more time! ' Sam sprang aside evading the club within a hairs breadth.
The oger who had wanted to squash Sam into a pulp with an overhead swing only hit the ground.
Sam came to his feet after evading the attack and went for a counterattack. He stabbed the ogers legs two times and retreated again.
The oger roared and charged. Sam evaded again but got hit by wood fragments when the oger hit a tree next to him.
Sam felt his face getting hit numerous times and blood was continuously flowing into his left eye to the point where Sam had to close it. He hid himself in some bushes near the oger and pulled the wood pieces out of his face.
He felt himself slowly getting frustrated and angered. He couldn't feel the pain of his wounds because of the adrenaline and slowly awakening berserker mode.
Meanwhile, the oger turned around and searched for Sam with his ugly, tiny pig eyes. When it turned its back towards Sam he used the opportunity and charged. He successfully stabbed the oger three times but got slapped away in the process, flying through the air again.
He landed on the ground in a better shape compared to the first hit. The slap of the hand wasn't as strong as the club, so Sam could cope with it.
Sam used the same strategy again but he had underestimated the oger. It wasn't as dumb as it looked like, so it listened for sounds of Sam's armor and turned around kicking Sam when it heard the rattling sound of his chainmail. Sam was able to place his spiked shield between himself and the ogers foot but the power behind the kick was too great. He felt one of his ribs breaking because of the impact. He flew through the air like a cannonball hitting a tree.

Sam sat on the ground, back against the tree while his head was hanging down. He coughed up blood, while having trouble to breath. The oger made its way towards him dragging the club behind it.
Sam's breathing intensified when he saw the elated expression on the ugly pig face. The drool coming out of it's mouth intensified as well.
' I won't die here!' Sam could feel himself slowly losing control of his body but he didn't reject that feeling.
" I don't have a choice anymore. Let me see if I can beat the oger and what happens if I succeed!" Sam said before his eyes turned red.
He stood up, lifting the two shields as if the fight before never happened.
He charged at the oger, who lifted the club for the final attack. Sam changed direction, evading the blow. He jumped onto the club when the monster lifted it and propelled himself near the ogers chest.
He stabbed but didn't hit the heart, landing back on the ground. The monster roared again, but more because it couldn't catch Sam and less because of the damage it had received.
Another kick sent Sam flying again but his abilities improved in berserker mode and he was able to backflip and land on his feet.
Sam roared and did something unexpected in the next moment. He threw his tower shield, aiming for the ogers knee cap.
A crunching sound confirmed the hit and the oger knelt down while screaming. Sam ran around the kneeling monster attacking it's back.
He smiled while stabbing the oger again and again. The boss monster couldn't reach Sam behind him and fell to his hands after being stabbed continuously for more than 50 times.
The part of the back where Sam had raged was a mess. It was a big bloody wound, the meat had been skewered and hung out of the wound.
Sam who had been bathed in blood, walked over the ogers body reaching the neck. He lifted his shield and stabbed the neck numerous times.
The oger died and fell down while Sam turned back to normal, only to witness the world turning dark.

Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.
