《Demonology For Morons》Guess What I Found

Chapter 9
I feel kind of strange inside. Like not upset stomach strange but like there’s something weird going on deeper in me. It’s not like it feels bad, it just feels …different.
Maybe this is where my unique ability can finally shine.
Name: A#@&%@ Age: 3 Days Race: Demon(Lesser Imp) Level: 7 Hp: 42 Mp:N/A Tittle: Insane Str:25 Int:28 Bonus Stat Points +14 Agi:17 Wis:20

End: 21
An insane demon that has sworn on its soul to destroy the sun. It has discovered its true name but is not strong enough to bear it. Warning due to the brutality and mental instability this monster has shown it should be treated as a rank higher.
So I’m like this because I figured out my name and it made me stronger. Why can’t I remember then, does it have to do with me not being able to bear it? Then when will it be okay to know it? I guess there’s not really anything I can do about it now other than get stronger which is what I wanted to do anyway.
I wonder what some of this stuff means though like what’s Int?
Int is short for Intelligence and helps you understand the word around you also determines your Mp or Magic Power
Hmmmm… so if I focus on it, I get more information? Might as well do all of it.
Wis is short for Wisdom and helps you use the knowledge you have acquired also increases the rate of Magic Regeneration and Casting Speeds Str is short for Strength. It measures your physical ability Agi is short for Agility. It measures how fast you can move as well as your reflexes. End is short for Endurance. It measures how tough your body is and how many hits you can take Lesser Imp is a race of demons. They are one of the weaker known races. Due to their weakness they are often cowards and mostly like to play tricks on others when they won’t get caught. They only attack when they fear for their lives.
I don’t know how accurate my power is anymore. I got attacked by those idiots twice and I was mostly minding my own business.

Bonus Stat Points can be used to increase any chosen stat permanently. Two are given on level up.
Oh. What do we have here? Why was I not told? I apologize for calling you useless all those times and secretly hating you. Free power for no reason, YES PLEASE! But where do I put these points? I mean it all seems so tempting. Str is an obvious choice that seems like you can’t really go wrong with. Same goes with End. Agi can go fuck itself for now. What do I need speed for? I’m going to be the strongest there is, I don’t run away from anything! Int and Wis also seem interesting after all it was thanks to my great mind and scheming that I was able to kill Master.
I think for now I will put 7 each in both Int and Wis. Being smarter defiantly can’t be a bad thing and magic sounds interesting.
Well what else is there? Oh skills…
Skill List
Gamer Unique
Demonic Contracts Level 1
Dark Vision Level 7
Mining Level 2
None of this seems particularly useful right now. Well Dark Vision could be good if I find another cave, though I think I had enough of caves for now….
Enough of that for now. I need to decide something just as important now, which way do I go? Everything looks the same. Just trees, trees, and more trees to the front and mountains to the back. Hmmm… only one thing to do in this situation.
I get down point forward and spin. Soon I start to giggle again having a bit of fun then I start to get dizzy and that makes me giggle even more. Eventually I fall over but I make sure to keep pointing forward as best I can and look at the direction I’m pointing while lying on my stomach.
We have a winner! It looks like trees it is!
Hehehe
**********
I’ve made a terrible mistake and I realize that now. Before I thought I would never need to run away because I’m going to be the strongest thing ever. Now I realize that doesn’t mean I’m the strongest thing now…

AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Agi +1
FUCK OFF! This is all the great lights fault. If only it didn’t play dead, I would have been able to grab an idiot or two. Then these filthy, smelly wolves can eat them instead.
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
LEAVE ME ALONE! I keep ducking through bushes and running past the trees as fast as I can. Which isn’t very and the wolves are gradually catching up. I give myself like 5 minutes top before I’m puppy chow. Actually why are they even chasing me this hard I’m smaller than they are, at most all I can be is puppy chow. WHAT THE FUCK? Do they have a grudge against imps or something? Did one of the idiots mess with them? Fucking idiots.
“ANNIE!” “WHERE ARE YOU!?!” “ANNIE” (Voices)
I just had a great idea. I have no clue as to who’s shouting in the forest but I do know how to get rid of the wolves now.
“ANNIE PLEASE WHERE ARE YOU!?!” (Voice)
I run even quicker towards the voices that are steadily getting louder. Then as I burst out of the bushes I see a group of about 8 humans. I ignore the surprised shouts and the two that draw their weapons. I run past them laughing thinking about what their faces will look like when they realize I’m not the one they should be afraid of. Too bad I can’t be there for that.
About a minute later of running I can hear the screams in the background and I can feel the wolves have stopped chasing me.
Level Increased to Level 8
Bonus Stat Points +2
HA and I thought I picked the wrong place to put my points in. That just goes to show I should never doubt myself, my genius is just too great for that. Speaking of points I put both of them this time in Agility as I keep moving. Why Agility after saying my choices before weren’t wrong, no real reason….
I keep running for another 10 minutes in order to put some distance between me and the smelly animals. Then I finally am able to stop, I climb a tree and take a moment to rest. Running for your life can really take it out of you. I think this is the first time I actually felt tired in my life and that’s saying something considering I mined for 2 days straight.
After a bit resting and switching to wondering where those people came from and daydreaming what those wolves did to them. I hear a sound of someone moving through the forest while making little noises I can’t make out. It slowly gets closer so I hide a bit better up in my tree waiting to see what’s coming.
A little human girl comes stumbling out of the bushes crying a bit because the branches pulled her hair. IT’S SO CUTE! I DECIDED, IM KEEPING IT! PET GET! For the first time, in this life, I actually look at someone. She’s a just a bit taller than I am and she has long brown hair. Though she is a bit pale and skinny for a human. Also she has got the cutest eyes that look around everywhere and tearing up, as if somethings gonna jump out from anywhere and get her. Every now and then she’ll mumble something or whimper. Between those adorable eyes and the scared whimpering it really tickles my sadist side.
Name: Annie Age: 10 years Race: Human Level: 1 Hp: 18/27 Mp:30/30 Tittle: Orphan Str:10 Int:15 Agi:7 Wis:11 Skills See more End: 9 Annie was the daughter of two loving parents until one day she got lost in the woods playing. Her parents got attacked by wolves while looking for her. She is now the target of a demon.
Oops. Well at least no one will be looking for her anymore. What I meant to say is since this is technically my fault it’s my duty as a former hero to protect this young girl! Yea that…

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes.
